1 O n the third day there was a wedding at Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there.

На третия ден имаше сватба в Кана Галилейска и майката на Исус беше там.

2 J esus also was invited with His disciples to the wedding.

И Исус и учениците Му бяха поканени на сватбата.

3 A nd when the wine was all gone, the mother of Jesus said to Him, They have no more wine!

И когато се свърши виното, майката на Исус Му каза: Нямат вино.

4 J esus said to her, '> Dear] woman, what is that to you and to Me? My time (hour to act) has not yet come.

А Исус ѝ отговори: Какво имаш ти с Мене, жено? Часът Ми още не е дошъл.

5 H is mother said to the servants, Whatever He says to you, do it.

Майка Му каза на слугите: Каквото ви каже, направете.

6 N ow there were six waterpots of stone standing there, as the Jewish custom of purification (ceremonial washing) demanded, holding twenty to thirty gallons apiece.

А там имаше шест каменни делви, поставени по обичая на юдейското очистване, които побираха по две или три мери.

7 J esus said to them, Fill the waterpots with water. So they filled them up to the brim.

Исус им каза: Напълнете делвите с вода. И ги напълниха догоре.

8 T hen He said to them, Draw some out now and take it to the manager of the feast. So they took him some.

Тогава им каза: Налейте сега и занесете на настойника на угощението. И те занесоха.

9 A nd when the manager tasted the water just now turned into wine, not knowing where it came from—though the servants who had drawn the water knew—he called the bridegroom

И когато настойникът на угощението вкуси от водата, превърната на вино, и не знаеше откъде беше, обаче слугите, които бяха налели водата, знаеха, настойникът на угощението повика младоженеца и му каза:

10 A nd said to him, Everyone else serves his best wine first, and when people have drunk freely, then he serves that which is not so good; but you have kept back the good wine until now!

Всеки човек слага първо доброто вино и по-лошото - след като се понапият; а ти си задържал доброто вино досега.

11 T his, the first of His signs (miracles, wonderworks), Jesus performed in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

Това извърши Исус в Кана Галилейска като начало на знаменията Си и яви славата Си; и учениците Му повярваха в Него.

12 A fter that He went down to Capernaum with His mother and brothers and disciples, and they stayed there only a few days.

След това слезе в Капернаум, Той и майка Му, братята Му и учениците Му, и там престояха няколко дни. Очистването на храма

13 N ow the Passover of the Jews was approaching, so Jesus went up to Jerusalem.

И като наближаваше Пасхата на юдеите, Исус отиде в Йерусалим.

14 T here He found in the temple '> enclosure] those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting there.

И намери в храма продавачите на волове, овце и гълъби и тези, които седяха и обменяха пари;

15 A nd having made a lash (a whip) of cords, He drove them all out of the temple '> enclosure]—both the sheep and the oxen—spilling and scattering the brokers’ money and upsetting and tossing around their trays (their stands).

и направи бич от върви и изпъди всички тях от храма, както и овцете и воловете; изсипа парите на обменителите на пари и преобърна масите им;

16 T hen to those who sold the doves He said, Take these things away (out of here)! Make not My Father’s house a house of merchandise (a marketplace, a sales shop)!

а на тези, които продаваха гълъбите, каза: Вдигнете ги оттук; не правете Бащиния Ми дом дом на търговия.

17 A nd His disciples remembered that it is written, Zeal (the fervor of love) for Your house will eat Me up.

Учениците Му си спомниха, че е писано: "Ревността за Твоя дом ще ме изяде."

18 T hen the Jews retorted, What sign can You show us, seeing You do these things?

По този повод юдеите се обърнаха към Него и Му казаха: Какво знамение ще ни покажеш, щом правиш това?

19 J esus answered them, Destroy (undo) this temple, and in three days I will raise it up again.

Исус им отговори: Разрушете този храм и за три дни ще го издигна.

20 T hen the Jews replied, It took forty-six years to build this temple (sanctuary), and will You raise it up in three days?

Тогава юдеите казаха: Този храм е бил граден в продължение на четиридесет и шест години, а Ти за три дни ли ще го издигнеш?

21 B ut He had spoken of the temple which was His body.

Но Той говореше за храма на тялото Си.

22 W hen therefore He had risen from the dead, His disciples remembered that He said this. And so they believed and trusted and relied on the Scripture and the word (message) Jesus had spoken.

И така, когато бе възкресен от мъртвите, учениците Му си спомниха, че беше казал това; и повярваха на Писанието и думите, които Исус беше говорил.

23 B ut when He was in Jerusalem during the Passover Feast, many believed in His name after seeing His signs (wonders, miracles) which He was doing.

И когато беше в Йерусалим по времето на празника Пасха, мнозина повярваха в Неговото име, като виждаха знаменията, които вършеше.

24 B ut Jesus did not trust Himself to them, because He knew all;

Но Исус не им се доверяваше, защото познаваше всички човеци

25 A nd He did not need anyone to bear witness concerning man, for He Himself knew what was in human nature.

и защото Той нямаше нужда някой да Му свидетелства за човека, понеже сам знаеше какво има у човека.
