1 T hen I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven, robed in a cloud, with a rainbow over his head; his face was like the sun, and his feet (legs) were like columns of fire.

И видях друг силен ангел, който слизаше от небето, облечен в облак; над главата му имаше дъга, лицето му беше като слънцето и краката му - като огнени стълбове.

2 H e had a little book (scroll) open in his hand. He set his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

Той държеше в ръката си разгъната книжка; и като стъпи с десния си крак в морето, а с левия - на земята,

3 A nd he shouted with a loud voice like the roaring of a lion; and when he had shouted, the seven thunders gave voice and uttered their message in distinct words.

извика с висок глас, както реве лъв; и когато извика, седемте гръма издадоха своите гласове.

4 A nd when the seven thunders had spoken (sounded), I was going to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, Seal up what the seven thunders have said! Do not write it down!

И след като седемте гръма издадоха своите гласове, аз се готвех да запиша, но чух глас от небето, който каза: Запечатай това, което изговориха седемте гръма, и не го пиши.

5 T hen the angel whom I had seen stationed on sea and land raised his right hand to heaven (the sky),

А ангелът, когото видях да стои в морето и на земята, издигна десницата си към небето

6 A nd swore in the name of (by) Him Who lives forever and ever, Who created the heavens ( sky) and all they contain, and the earth and all that it contains, and the sea and all that it contains. that no more time should intervene and there should be no more waiting or delay,

и се закле в Живеещия до вечни векове, Който е създал небето и каквото има в него, земята и каквото има по нея, и морето и каквото има в него, че няма да има вече време,

7 B ut that when the days come when the trumpet call of the seventh angel is about to be sounded, then God’s mystery (His secret design, His hidden purpose), as He had announced the glad tidings to His servants the prophets, should be fulfilled (accomplished, completed).

но че в дните на гласа на седмия ангел, когато се приготви да затръби, тогава ще се изпълни тайната на Бога, както Той е благовестил на Своите слуги, пророците.

8 T hen the voice that I heard from heaven spoke again to me, saying, Go and take the little book (scroll) which is open on the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.

А гласът, който чух от небето, проговори пак към мен и ми каза: Иди, вземи разгънатата книга, която е в ръката на ангела, който стои на морето и на земята.

9 S o I went up to the angel and asked him to give me the little book. And he said to me, Take it and eat it. It will embitter your stomach, though in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.

И така, отидох при ангела и му казах да ми даде книжката. Той ми отвърна: Вземи и я изяж; и в корема ти ще бъде горчива, но в устата ти ще бъде сладка като мед.

10 S o I took the little book from the angel’s hand and ate and swallowed it; it was as sweet as honey in my mouth, but once I had swallowed it, my stomach was embittered.

И така, взех книжката от ръката на ангела и я изядох, и в устата ми беше сладка като мед; но като я изядох, в корема ми стана горчиво.

11 T hen they said to me, You are to make a fresh prophecy concerning many peoples and races and nations and languages and kings.

Тогава ми бе казано: Трябва пак да пророкуваш за много народи и племена, езици и царе.
