1 A gain in the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

А в деветата година, десетия месец, на десетия ден от месеца, Господнето слово пак дойде към мен и каза:

2 S on of man, record the name of the day, even of this same day; the king of Babylon set himself against and assailed Jerusalem this same day.

Сине човешки, запиши си името на този ден, на същия този ден; защото в същия този ден вавилонският цар се доближи до Йерусалим.

3 A nd utter a parable against the rebellious house and say to them, Thus says the Lord God: Put on a pot; put it on and also pour water into it.

И произнесѝ притча към бунтовния дом, като им кажеш: Така казва Господ Йехова: Сложи котела, сложи, налей също вода в него.

4 P ut into it the pieces, all the good pieces, the thigh and the shoulder; fill it with the choice of the bones.

Събери в него късовете за варене, всеки добър къс, бедро и рамо; напълни го с отбрани кости.

5 T ake the choicest of the flock and burn also the unused bones under it, and make it boil well and seethe its bones in.

Вземи отбраните от стадото, натрупай и кости под него; направи го да ври добре и костите в него да се сварят.

6 T herefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloody city, to the pot whose rust and scum are in it and whose rust and scum have not gone out of it! Take out of it piece by piece, without making any choice.

Защото така казва Господ Йехова: Горко на кръвопролитния град, на котела, чиято ръжда е на него и чиято ръжда не се е очистила от него! Извади от него късовете му, без да се хвърли жребий за тях.

7 F or the blood she has shed remains in the midst of her; she put it upon the bare rock; she did not pour it on the ground to cover it with dust.

Защото кръвта му е сред него; тя я изложи на гол камък; не я изля на земята, за да се покрие с пръст.

8 T hat it may cause wrath to come up to take vengeance, I have put her blood upon the bare rock, that it would not be covered.

Аз изложих на гол камък кръвта, която изля, за да не се покрие, за да направя да избухне ярост, за да извърши въздаяние.

9 T herefore thus says the Lord God: Woe to the bloodguilty city! Also I will make the pile great.

Затова така казва Господ Йехова: Горко на кръвопролитния град! Защото и Аз ще направя по-голяма огнена грамада.

10 H eap on wood, kindle the fire and make it hot, boil well the meat and mix the spices, pour out the broth when thick, and let the bones be burned up.

Натрупай дървата, сгорещете огъня, свари добре месото, сгъсти варивото и нека костите изгорят.

11 T hen set back empty upon the coals, that the bronze of it may be hot and may glow and the filthiness of it may be melted in it and the rust and scum of it may be consumed.

Тогава сложи котела празен на въглищата, за да се нажежи медта му и да изгори, и да се стопи в него нечистотата му, за да се изгори ръждата му.

12 S he has wearied herself and Me with toil; yet her great rust and scum go not forth out of her, for however hotly the fire burns, her thick rust and filth will not go out of her by fire.

Уморил се е от трудовете си, но пак многото му ръжда не се очиства от него; ръждата му даже в огъня не се очиства.

13 I n your filthiness is abomination; because I would have cleansed you and you were not cleansed, you shall not be cleansed from your filthiness any more until I have satisfied My wrath against and upon you.

Понеже Аз те чистех, а ти не се очисти, затова поради гнусния ти разврат няма вече да се очистиш от нечистотата си, докато не уталожа върху теб яростта Си.

14 I the Lord have spoken it; it shall come to pass and I will do it; I will not go back, neither will I spare, neither will I relent; according to your ways and according to your doings shall they judge and punish you, says the Lord God.

Аз, Господ, го изговорих; това ще се сбъдне и ще го извърша; няма да отстъпя, няма да пощадя и няма да се разкая; според постъпките ти и според делата ти ще те съдя, казва Господ Йехова.

15 A lso the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

При това Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

16 S on of man, behold, I take away from you the desire of your eyes at a single stroke. Yet you shall neither mourn nor weep, neither shall your tears flow.

Сине човешки, Аз с един удар ще отнема от тебе желанието на очите ти; а ти да не жалееш или плачеш, нито да потекат сълзите ти.

17 S igh and groan, but not aloud; make no mourning for the dead; bind your turban upon your head and put your shoes on your feet, and do not cover your beard or eat the bread of mourners.

Въздишай, но не на глас, да не жалееш за мъртви; завий превръзката на главата си и обуй обувките на краката си; да не покриеш устните си, нито да ядеш хляба на жалеещите хора.

18 S o I spoke to the people in the morning and in the evening my wife died, and I did the next morning as I was commanded.

И така, говорих на народа сутринта, а вечерта жена ми умря; и сутринта направих, както ми беше заповядано.

19 A nd the people said to me, Will you not tell us what these things are supposed to mean to us, that you are acting as you do?

Тогава народът ми каза: Няма ли да ни обясниш какво значи за нас това, което правиш?

20 T hen I answered them, The word of the Lord came to me, saying,

Тогава им отвърнах: Господнето слово дойде към мен и каза:

21 S peak to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord God: Behold, I will profane My sanctuary— pride as your strength, the desire of your eyes, and the pity and sympathy of your soul; and your sons and your daughters whom you have left behind shall fall by the sword.

Говори на Израелевия дом: Така казва Господ Йехова: Ето, ще оскверня светилището Си, силата ви, с която се гордеете, желаното за очите ви и това, за което душите ви милеят; и синовете и дъщерите ви, които сте оставили, ще паднат от меч.

22 A nd you shall do as I have done; you shall not cover your beard nor eat the bread of mourning,

И вие ще направите, както направих аз; няма да покриете устните си и няма да ядете хляб на жалеещи хора;

23 A nd your turbans shall be upon your heads and your shoes upon your feet; you shall not mourn or weep, but you shall pine away for your iniquities (your guilt) and sigh and groan to one another.

превръзките на главите ви ще бъдат на главите ви и обувките - на краката ви; няма да жалеете, нито да плачете, а ще се стопите в беззаконията си и ще охкате един към друг.

24 T hus Ezekiel is to you a sign; according to all that he has done you shall do. And when this comes, you shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord God.

Така Йезекиил ще ви бъде знамение; всичко, което направи той, ще направите и вие; когато настане това, тогава ще познаете, че Аз съм Господ Йехова.

25 A nd you, son of man, on the day when I take from them their strength and their stronghold, their joy and their glory, the delight of their eyes and their hearts’ chief desire, and also their sons and their daughters—

А колкото до тебе, сине човешки, в онзи ден, когато им отнема силата и славата, на която се радват, желанието на очите и милите на душите им, синовете и дъщерите им -

26 O n that day an escaped fugitive shall come to you to cause you to hear of it with your own ears.

в онзи ден няма ли да дойде при теб онзи, който избягва, за да извести това в ушите ти?

27 I n that day your mouth shall be open to him who has escaped, and you shall speak and be no more speechless, and you shall be a sign to them and they shall know, understand, and realize that I am the Lord.

В онзи ден устата ти ще се отворят към онзи, който избягва, ще говориш и няма да бъдеш вече ням; така ще им бъдеш знамение; и те ще познаят, че Аз съм Господ.
