2 I n Salem also is His tabernacle, and His dwelling place is in Zion.

В Салим е скинията Му и обиталището Му е в Сион.

3 T here He broke the bow’s flashing arrows, the shield, the sword, and the weapons of war. Selah!

Там Той строши лъскавите стрели на лъка, щита и меча, и битката. (Села.)

4 G lorious and excellent are You from the mountains of prey.

Светъл се явяваш, о Славни, от хълмовете с плячка.

5 T he stouthearted are stripped of their spoil, they have slept the sleep; and none of the men of might could raise their hands.

Коравосърдечните бяха обрани, заспаха във вечния си сън; и никой от яките мъже не намери ръцете си.

6 A t Your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

От Твоето мъмрене, Боже Яковов, паднаха в дълбок сън и колесници, и коне.

7 Y ou, even You, are to be feared! Who may stand in Your presence when once Your anger is roused?

Ти, самият Ти си страшен; и кой може да устои пред лицето Ти, когато се разгневиш?

8 Y ou caused sentence to be heard from heaven; the earth feared and was still—

Направил си да се чуе от небето присъда; земята се убоя и утихна,

9 W hen God arose to judgment, to save all the meek and oppressed of the earth. Selah!

когато Бог стана да съди, за да спаси всички кротки на земята. (Села.)

10 S urely the wrath of man shall praise You; the remainder of wrath shall You restrain and gird and arm Yourself with it.

Наистина човешката ярост ще се превърне в хвала към Тебе; с остатъка от яростта ще се опашеш.

11 V ow and pay to the Lord your God; let all who are round about Him bring presents to Him Who ought to be feared.

Обричайте се и изпълнявайте оброците си на Господа, вашия Бог; всички, които са около Него, нека принасят дарове на Достопочитаемия.

12 H e will cut off the spirit of princes; He is terrible to the kings of the earth.

Той снишава гордостта на князете, страшен е за земните царе.
