1 P raise the Lord! (Hallelujah!) Blessed (happy, fortunate, to be envied) is the man who fears (reveres and worships) the Lord, who delights greatly in His commandments.

2 H is offspring shall be mighty upon earth; the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Потомството му ще бъде силно на земята; родът на праведните ще бъде благословен.

3 P rosperity and welfare are in his house, and his righteousness endures forever.

Изобилие и богатство ще има в дома му; и правдата му ще трае довека.

4 L ight arises in the darkness for the upright, gracious, compassionate, and just.

Светлина изгрява в тъмнината за праведните; Той е благ, милостив, и праведен.

5 I t is well with the man who deals generously and lends, who conducts his affairs with justice.

Блажен е човекът, който познава милост и дава назаем; ще защити делото си в съда.

6 H e will not be moved forever; the righteous (the upright, in right standing with God) shall be in everlasting remembrance.

Наистина никога няма да се поклати; праведният е вечен паметник.

7 H e shall not be afraid of evil tidings; his heart is firmly fixed, trusting (leaning on and being confident) in the Lord.

От лош слух няма да се бои; сърцето му е непоколебимо, понеже уповава на Господа.

8 H is heart is established and steady, he will not be afraid while he waits to see his desire established upon his adversaries.

Утвърдено е сърцето му; той няма да се бои дотогава, докато види повалянето на неприятелите си.

9 H e has distributed freely; his righteousness (uprightness and right standing with God) endures forever; his horn shall be exalted in honor.

Разпръсна, даде на сиромасите; правдата му трае довека; рогът му ще се издигне на почит.

10 T he wicked man will see it and be grieved and angered, he will gnash his teeth and disappear; the desire of the wicked shall perish and come to nothing.

Нечестивият ще види това и ще се наскърби, ще поскърца със зъби и ще се стопи; желаното от нечестивите ще погине.
