5 A ll these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

Todos esses eram filhos de Hemã, o vidente do rei. Esses lhe nasceram conforme as promessas de que Deus haveria de torná-lo poderoso. E Deus deu a Hemã catorze filhos e três filhas.

6 A ll these were under the hands of their father for song in Yahweh’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house; Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

Todos esses homens estavam sob a supervisão de seus pais quando ministravam a música do templo do Senhor, com címbalos, liras e harpas, na casa de Deus. Asafe, Jedutum e Hemã estavam sob a supervisão do rei.
