1 Y ahweh spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

2 “ The children of Israel shall encamp every man by his own standard, with the banners of their fathers’ houses: at a distance from the Tent of Meeting shall they encamp around it.”

“Os israelitas acamparão ao redor da Tenda do Encontro, a certa distância, cada homem junto à sua bandeira com os emblemas da sua família”.

3 T hose who encamp on the east side toward the sunrise shall be of the standard of the camp of Judah, according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Judah shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.

A leste, os exércitos de Judá acamparão junto à sua bandeira. O líder de Judá será Naassom, filho de Aminadabe.

4 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were seventy-four thousand six hundred.

Seu exército é de 74. 600 homens.

5 T hose who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and the prince of the children of Issachar shall be Nethanel the son of Zuar.

A tribo de Issacar acampará ao lado de Judá. O líder de Issacar será Natanael, filho de Zuar.

7 T he tribe of Zebulun: and the prince of the children of Zebulun shall be Eliab the son of Helon.

10 “ On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their divisions. The prince of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.

12 “ Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Simeon. The prince of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.

A tribo de Simeão acampará ao lado de Rúben. O líder de Simeão será Selumiel, filho de Zurisadai.

13 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.

Seu exército é de 59. 300 homens.

14 “ The tribe of Gad: and the prince of the children of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.

A tribo de Gade virá em seguida. O líder de Gade será Eliasafe, filho de Deuel.

16 “ All who were numbered of the camp of Reuben were one hundred fifty-one thousand four hundred fifty, according to their armies. They shall set out second.

O número total dos homens recenseados do acampamento de Rúben, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 151. 450. Esses marcharão em segundo lugar.

17 “ Then the Tent of Meeting shall set out, with the camp of the Levites in the middle of the camps. As they encamp, so shall they set out, every man in his place, by their standards.

18 “ On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.

A oeste estarão os exércitos do acampamento de Efraim, junto à sua bandeira. O líder de Efraim será Elisama, filho de Amiúde.

19 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were forty thousand five hundred.

Seu exército é de 40. 500 homens.

20 “ Next to him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the prince of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.

A tribo de Manassés acampará ao lado de Efraim. O líder de Manassés será Gamaliel, filho de Pedazur.

21 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.

Seu exército é de 32. 200 homens.

22 “ The tribe of Benjamin: and the prince of the children of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.

A tribo de Benjamim virá em seguida. O líder de Benjamim será Abidã, filho de Gideoni.

23 H is army, and those who were numbered of them, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.

24 “ All who were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were one hundred eight thousand one hundred, according to their divisions. They shall set out third.

25 “ On the north side shall be the standard of the camp of Dan according to their divisions: and the prince of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.

Ao norte estarão os exércitos do acampamento de Dã, junto à sua bandeira. O líder de Dã será Aieser, filho de Amisadai.

26 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.

Seu exército é de 62. 700 homens.

27 “ Those who encamp next to him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the prince of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ochran.

A tribo de Aser acampará ao lado de Dã. O líder de Aser será Pagiel, filho de Ocrã.

28 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were forty-one thousand and five hundred.

Seu exército é de 41. 500 homens.

29 “ The tribe of Naphtali: and the prince of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.

A tribo de Naftali virá em seguida. O líder de Naftali será Aira, filho de Enã.

30 H is division, and those who were numbered of them, were fifty-three thousand four hundred.

Seu exército é de 53. 400 homens.

31 “ All who were numbered of the camp of Dan were one hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred. They shall set out last by their standards.”

O número total dos homens recenseados do acampamento de Dã, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 157. 600. Esses marcharão por último, junto às suas bandeiras.

32 T hese are those who were numbered of the children of Israel by their fathers’ houses. All who were numbered of the camps according to their armies were six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.

Foram esses os israelitas contados de acordo com as suas famílias. O número total dos que foram contados nos acampamentos, de acordo com os seus exércitos, foi 603. 550.

33 B ut the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as Yahweh commanded Moses.

Os levitas, contudo, não foram contados com os outros israelitas, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.

34 T hus the children of Israel did. According to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so they encamped by their standards, and so they set out, everyone by their families, according to their fathers’ houses.

Assim os israelitas fizeram tudo o que o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés; eles acampavam junto às suas bandeiras e depois partiam, cada um com o seu clã e com a sua família.
