1 B ut in the latter days, it will happen that the mountain of Yahweh’s temple will be established on the top of the mountains, and it will be exalted above the hills; and peoples will stream to it.

Nos últimos dias acontecerá que o monte do templo do Senhor será estabelecido como o principal entre os montes, e se elevará acima das colinas. E os povos a ele acorrerão.

2 M any nations will go and say, “Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For the law will go out of Zion, and Yahweh’s word from Jerusalem;

Muitas nações virão, dizendo: “Venham, subamos ao monte do Senhor, ao templo do Deus de Jacó. Ele nos ensinará os seus caminhos, para que andemos nas suas veredas”. Pois a lei virá de Sião, a palavra do Senhor, de Jerusalém.

3 a nd he will judge between many peoples, and will decide concerning strong nations afar off. They will beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, neither will they learn war any more.

Ele julgará entre muitos povos e resolverá contendas entre nações poderosas e distantes. Das suas espadas farão arados, e das suas lanças, foices. Nenhuma nação erguerá a espada contra outra, e não aprenderão mais a guerra.

4 B ut they will sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and no one will make them afraid: For the mouth of Yahweh of Armies has spoken.

Todo homem poderá sentar-se debaixo da sua videira e debaixo da sua figueira, e ninguém o incomodará, pois assim falou o Senhor dos Exércitos.

5 I ndeed all the nations may walk in the name of their gods; but we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.

Pois todas as nações andam, cada uma em nome dos seus deuses, mas nós andaremos em nome do Senhor, o nosso Deus, para todo o sempre. O Plano do Senhor

6 “ In that day,” says Yahweh, “I will assemble that which is lame, and I will gather that which is driven away, and that which I have afflicted;

“Naquele dia”, declara o Senhor, “ajuntarei os que tropeçam e reunirei os dispersos, aqueles a quem afligi.

7 a nd I will make that which was lame a remnant, and that which was cast far off a strong nation: and Yahweh will reign over them on Mount Zion from then on, even forever.”

Farei dos que tropeçam um remanescente, e dos dispersos, uma nação forte. O Senhor reinará sobre eles no monte Sião, daquele dia em diante e para sempre.

8 Y ou, tower of the flock, the hill of the daughter of Zion, to you it will come, yes, the former dominion will come, the kingdom of the daughter of Jerusalem.

Quanto a você, ó torre do rebanho, ó fortaleza da cidade de Sião, o antigo domínio lhe será restaurado; a realeza voltará para a cidade de Jerusalém.”

9 N ow why do you cry out aloud? Is there no king in you? Has your counselor perished, that pains have taken hold of you as of a woman in travail?

Agora, por que gritar tão alto? Você não tem rei? Seu conselheiro morreu, para que a dor lhe seja tão forte como a de uma mulher em trabalho de parto?

10 B e in pain, and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now you will go out of the city, and will dwell in the field, and will come even to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

Contorça-se em agonia, ó povo da cidade de Sião, como a mulher em trabalho de parto, porque agora terá que deixar os seus muros para habitar em campo aberto. Você irá para a Babilônia, e lá será libertada. Lá o Senhor a resgatará da mão dos seus inimigos.

11 N ow many nations have assembled against you, that say, “Let her be defiled, and let our eye gloat over Zion.”

Mas agora muitas nações estão reunidas contra você. Elas dizem: “Que Sião seja profanada, e que isso aconteça diante dos nossos olhos!”

12 B ut they don’t know the thoughts of Yahweh, neither do they understand his counsel; for he has gathered them like the sheaves to the threshing floor.

Mas elas não conhecem os pensamentos do Senhor; não compreendem o plano daquele que as ajunta como feixes para a eira.

13 A rise and thresh, daughter of Zion; for I will make your horn iron, and I will make your hoofs brass; and you will beat in pieces many peoples: and I will devote their gain to Yahweh, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

“Levante-se e debulhe, ó cidade de Sião, pois eu darei a você chifres de ferro e cascos de bronze para despedaçar muitas nações.” Você consagrará ao Senhor ao Soberano de toda a terra, os ganhos ilícitos e a riqueza delas
