2 A nd in Salem is his tent, and his dwelling-place in Zion.

(76-3) У Салимі намет Його, а мешкання Його на Сіоні,

3 T here broke he the flashings of the bow, shield and sword and battle. Selah.

(76-4) Він там поламав стріли луку, щита та меча, та війну! Села.

4 M ore glorious art thou, more excellent, than the mountains of prey.

(76-5) Ти осяйний, потужніший за гори відвічні.

5 T he stout-hearted are made a spoil, they have slept their sleep; and none of the men of might have found their hands.

(76-6) Обдерто людей сильносердих, задрімали вони своїм сном, і не знайшли своїх рук усі мужі військові...

6 A t thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

(76-7) Від сваріння Твого, Боже Яковів, оглушується колесниця та кінь:

7 T hou, thou art to be feared, and who can stand before thee when once thou art angry?

(76-8) Ти Ти грізний, і хто перед обличчям Твоїм устоїть часу гніву Твого?...

8 T hou didst cause judgment to be heard from the heavens; the earth feared, and was still,

(76-9) Як звіщаєш Ти суд із небес, то боїться й стихає земля,

9 W hen God rose up to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

(76-10) як встає Бог на суд, щоб спасти всіх покірних землі! Села.

10 F or the fury of man shall praise thee; the remainder of fury wilt thou gird on thyself.

(76-11) Бо й гнів людський Тебе вихваляє, решту ж гніву Ти поясом в'яжеш.

11 V ow and pay unto Jehovah your God: let all that are round about him bring presents unto him that is to be feared.

(76-12) Присягайте й виконуйте Господу, Богові вашому, усі, хто Його оточає, хай приносять дарунка Грізному:

12 H e cutteth off the spirit of princes; is terrible to the kings of the earth.

(76-13) Він духа вельмож впокоряє, страшний Він для земних царів!
