А Ісус постарівся й увійшов у дні. І сказав Господь до нього: Ти постарівся та ввійшов у дні, а Краю позостається ще дуже багато, щоб посісти його.

2 T his is the land that yet remaineth: all the districts of the Philistines and all the Geshurites,

Оце позосталий Край: усі округи филистимські, і ввесь Ґешурей,

3 f rom the Shihor, which before Egypt, as far as the borders of Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanite; five lordships of the Philistines: of Gazah, and of Ashdod, of Eshkalon, of Gath, and of Ekron; also the Avvites;

від Шіхору, що навпроти Єгипту, і аж до границі Екрону на північ, що до ханаанеянина залічений, п'ять филистимських князів: аззатський, ашдодський, ашкелонський, ґаттійський і екронський, та аввеї.

4 i n the south, the whole land of the Canaanites, and Mearah which to the Sidonians, unto Aphek, to the border of the Amorites;

Від півдня вся ханаанська земля та Меара, що сидонська, аж до Афеки, аж до аморейської границі,

5 a nd the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the sun-rising, from Baal-Gad at the foot of mount Hermon to the entrance into Hamath;

і ґівлейська земля, і ввесь Ливан на схід сонця від Баал-Ґаду під горою Гермон аж до входу до Хамату.

6 a ll the inhabitants of the hill-country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim, all the Sidonians; I will dispossess them from before the children of Israel. Only, partition it by lot to Israel for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

Усіх мешканців гір від Ливану аж до Місрефот-Маїму, усіх сидонян, Я повиганяю їх перед Ізраїлевими синами. Тільки поділи її жеребком на спадок Ізраїлеві, як Я наказав був тобі.

7 A nd now divide this land for an inheritance to the nine tribes, and to half the tribe of Manasseh;

А тепер поділи цей Край на спадок дев'яти племенам та половині племени Манасіїному.

8 w ith him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of Jehovah gave them:

від Ароеру, що на березі арнонського потоку, і місто, що серед тієї долини, і вся медевська рівнина аж до Дівону,

10 a nd all the cities of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who reigned at Heshbon, to the border of the children of Ammon;

і всі міста Сигона, царя аморейського, що царював у Хешбоні, аж до границі Аммонових синів,

11 a nd Gilead, and the border of the Geshurites and Maachathites, and all mount Hermon, and the whole of Bashan to Salcah;

і Ґілеад, і границя ґешурейська та маахейська, і вся гора Гермон, і ввесь Башан аж до Салхи,

12 a ll the kingdom of Og in Bashan, who reigned at Ashtaroth and at Edrei, who remained of the residue of the giants; and Moses smote them and dispossessed them.

усе царство Оґа в Башані, що царював в Аштароті та в Едреї, він позостався з останку рефаїв, а Мойсей повбивав їх та повиганяв їх.

13 B ut the children of Israel did not dispossess the Geshurites nor the Maachathites; but the Geshurites and the Maachathites dwell among the Israelites to this day.

І не вигнали Ізраїлеві сини ґешуреянина, і маахатеянина, і сидів Ґешур та Маахат серед Ізраїля, і так є аж до цього дня.

14 O nly to the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the offerings by fire of Jehovah the God of Israel are their inheritance, as he said to them.

Тільки Левієвому племені не дав він спадку, огняні жертви Господа, Бога Ізраїля, то спадок його, як Я говорив був йому.

15 A nd Moses gave to the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families.

І дав Мойсей племені Рувимових синів спадок за їхніми родами.

16 A nd their territory was from Aroer, which is on the bank of the river Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the ravine, and all the plateau by Medeba;

І була їм границя від Ароеру, що на березі арнонського потоку, і місто, що серед тієї долини, і вся рівнина при Медеві,

17 H eshbon, and all her cities that are in the plateau, Dibon, and Bamoth-Baal, and Beth-Baal-meon,

Хешбон і всі міста його, що на рівнині, Дівон, і Бамот-Баал, і Бет-Баал-Меон,

18 A nd Jahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mephaath,

і Ягца, і Кедемот, і Мефаат,

19 a nd Kirjathaim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-shahar in the mountain of the vale,

і Кір'ятаїм, і Сівма, і Церет-Гашшахар на горі Емеку,

20 a nd Beth-Peor, and the slopes of Pisgah, and Beth-jeshimoth;

і Бет-Пеор, і узбіччя Пісґі, і Бет-Гаєшімот,

21 a ll the cities of the plateau, and the whole kingdom of Sihon the king of the Amorites, who reigned at Heshbon, whom Moses smote, him and the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the chiefs of Sihon dwelling in the land.

і всі міста рівнини, і все царство Сигона, царя аморейського, що царював у Хешбоні, що Мойсей убив його та мідіянських начальників: Евія, і Рекема, і Цура, і Хура, і Реву, сигонових князів, мешканців того краю.

22 A nd Balaam the son of Beor, the diviner, did the children of Israel kill with the sword among them that were slain by them.

А Валаама, Беорового сина, чарівника, Ізраїлеві сини забили мечем серед інших, яких вони побили.

23 A nd the border of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and border. This is the inheritance of the children of Reuben according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

І була границя Рувимових синів: Йордан і границя. Це спадок Рувимових синів за їхніми родами, їхні міста та їхні оселі.

24 A nd Moses gave to the tribe of Gad, to the children of Gad according to their families.

І дав Мойсей Ґадовому племені, синам Ґада за їхніми родами,

25 A nd their territory was Jaazer, and all the cities of Gilead, and half the land of the children of Ammon, to Aroer which is before Rabbah;

і була їм границя: Язер, і всі ґілеадські міста, і половина краю аммонових синів аж до Ароеру, що навпроти Рабби,

26 a nd from Heshbon to Ramath-Mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Mahanaim to the border of Debir;

А з Хешбону аж до Рамат Гамміцпі й Бетоніму, а від Маханаїму аж до границі Девіру,

27 a nd in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-Nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sihon the king of Heshbon, the Jordan and border, as far as the edge of the sea of Chinnereth beyond the Jordan eastward.

і в долині Бет-Гараму, і Бет-Німра, і Суккот, і Цафон, останок царства Сигона, царя хешбонського, Йордан і границя аж до кінця озера Кіннерет по тім боці Йордану на схід.

28 T his is the inheritance of the children of Gad according to their families, the cities and their hamlets.

Це спадок Ґадових синів за їхніми родами, міста та їхні оселі.

29 A nd Moses gave to half the tribe of Manasseh; and for half the tribe of the children of Manasseh according to their families:

І дав Мойсей половині племени Манасіїного, і воно було половині племени Манасіїних синів за їхніми родами.

30 t heir territory was from Mahanaim, all Bashan, the whole kingdom of Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Jair, which are in Bashan, sixty cities.

І була їхня границя від Манахаїму, увесь Башан, усе царство Оґа, царя башанського, і всі села Яіру, що в Башані, шістдесят міст.

31 A nd half Gilead, and Ashtaroth, and Edrei, the cities of the kingdom of Og in Bashan, to the children of Machir the son of Manasseh, to the one half of the children of Machir according to their families.

А половина Ґілеаду, і Аштарот, і Едрея, міста Оґового царства в Башані, синам Махіра, Манасіїного сина, половині синів Махіра за їхніми родами.

32 T his is that which Moses allotted for inheritance in the plains of Moab, beyond the Jordan of Jericho, eastward.

Оце те, що Мойсей дав на спадок в моавських степах по тім боці Йордану на схід.

33 B ut to the tribe of Levi Moses gave no inheritance: Jehovah the God of Israel is their inheritance, as he said to them.

А Левієвому племені Мойсей не дав спадку, Господь, Бог Ізраїлів, Він їхній спадок, як говорив їм.
