1 O Zot, mbreti do të gëzohet me forcën tënde dhe do të ngazëllojë për shpëtimin tënd!

The king shall joy in Your strength, O Lord; and in Your salvation how greatly shall he rejoice!

2 T i ia plotësove dëshirën e zemrës së tij dhe nuk hodhe poshtë kërkesën e buzëve të tij. (Sela)

You have given him his heart’s desire and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah!

3 S epse ti i dole para me bekime begatie, i vure mbi kokë një kurorë prej ari shumë të kulluar.

For You send blessings of good things to meet him; You set a crown of pure gold on his head.

4 A i të kishte kërkuar jetë dhe ti i dhe ditë të gjata në përjetësi.

He asked life of You, and You gave it to him—long life forever and evermore.

5 E madhe është lavdia e tij për shpëtimin tënd; ti i dhe madhështi dhe lavdi,

His glory is great because of Your aid; splendor and majesty You bestow upon him.

6 s epse ti e bën shumë të bekuar përjetë, e mbush me gëzim në praninë tënde.

For You make him to be blessed and a blessing forever; You make him exceedingly glad with the joy of Your presence.

7 D uke qenë se mbreti ka besim te Zoti dhe në mirësinë e Shumë të Lartit, ai nuk do të hiqet kurrë.

For the king trusts, relies on, and is confident in the Lord, and through the mercy and steadfast love of the Most High he will never be moved.

8 D ora jote do të arrijë tërë armiqtë e tu, dora jote e djathtë do të veprojë kundër atyre që të urrejnë.

Your hand shall find all Your enemies; Your right hand shall find all those who hate You.

9 T i do t’i bësh si një furrë të zjarrtë kur do të dukesh i zemëruar; në zemërimin e tij Zoti do t’i hedhë në humnerë dhe zjarri do t’i përpijë.

You will make them as if in a blazing oven in the time of Your anger; the Lord will swallow them up in His wrath, and the fire will utterly consume them.

10 T i do të zhdukësh frytin e tyre nga toka dhe pasardhësit e tyre midis bijve të njerëzve,

Their offspring You will destroy from the earth, and their sons from among the children of men.

11 s epse kanë kurdisur të keqen kundër teje dhe kanë përgatitur plane të këqija, por nuk do t’ia dalin.

For they planned evil against You; they conceived a mischievous plot which they are not able to perform.

12 S epse ti do të bësh që ata të kthejnë kurrizin dhe do të drejtosh shigjetat e harkut tënd kundër fytyrës së tyre.

For You will make them turn their backs; You will aim Your bow at their faces.

13 Ç ohu, o Zot, me forcën tënde; ne do të këndojmë dhe do të kremtojmë lëvdimet e fuqisë sate.

Be exalted, Lord, in Your strength; we will sing and praise Your power.
