1 O rakulli i fjalës së Zotit kundër vendit të Hadrakut dhe Damasku vendpushimi i tij (sepse sytë e njerëzve të të gjitha fiseve të Izraelit i drejtohen Zotit),

The burden or oracle (the thing to be lifted up) of the word of the Lord is against the land of Hadrach, and Damascus shall be its resting place, for the Lord has an eye upon mankind as upon all the tribes of Israel,

2 d he kundër Hamathit, që është në kufi me të, dhe kundër Tiros dhe Sidonit, ndonëse ata janë shumë të urtë.

And Hamath also, which borders on, Tyre with Sidon, though they are very wise.

3 T iro ka ndërtuar një fortesë dhe ka grumbulluar argjend si pluhur dhe ar si balta e rrugëve.

And Tyre has built herself a stronghold, and heaped up silver like dust and fine gold like the mire of the streets.

4 J a, Zoti do ta rrëzojë nga fuqia dhe do të shkatërrojë pushtetin e tij në det, dhe ai do të konsumohet nga zjarri.

Behold, the Lord will cast her out and dispossess her; He will smite her power in the sea and into it and shall be devoured by fire.

5 A shkeloni do ta shohë dhe do të ketë frikë, edhe Gaza do të përpëlitet nga dhëmbja e madhe dhe po kështu Ekroni, sepse shpresa e tij do të pësojë zhgënjim. Mbreti do të zhduket nga Gaza dhe Ashkeloni nuk do të banohet më.

shall see it and fear; Ashkelon, Gaza also, and be sorely pained, and Ekron, for her confidence and expectation shall be put to shame, and a king shall perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon shall not be inhabited.

6 N jë popull bastard do të banojë në Ashdod, dhe unë do të asgjësoj krenarinë e Filistejve.

And a mongrel people shall dwell in Ashdod, and I will put an end to the pride of the Philistines.

7 D o të heq gjak nga goja e tij dhe gjërat e neveritshme nga dhëmbët e tij, dhe ai gjithashtu do të jetë një i mbetur për Perëndinë tonë dhe do të jetë si një kryetar në Judë, dhe Ekroni si Jebuzeu.

And I will take out of mouths and from between their teeth the abominable idolatrous sacrifices eaten with the blood. And they too shall remain and be a remnant for our God, and they shall be like chieftains (the head over a thousand) in Judah, and Ekron shall be like one of the Jebusites.

8 D o të fushoj rreth shtëpisë sime për ta mbrojtur nga çfarëdo ushtrie, nga kush shkon dhe kush vjen; asnjë shtypës nuk do të kalojë më nga ata, sepse tani pashë vetë me sytë e mi.

Then I will encamp about My house as a guard or a garrison so that none shall march back and forth, and no oppressor or demanding collector shall again overrun them, for now My eyes are upon them.

9 N gazëllo me të madhe, o bijë e Sionit, lësho britma gëzimi, o bijë e Jeruzalemit! Ja, mbreti yt po të vjen; ai është i drejtë dhe sjell shpëtimin, i përulur dhe i hipur mbi një gomar, mbi një gomar të ri.

Rejoice greatly, O Daughter of Zion! Shout aloud, O Daughter of Jerusalem! Behold, your King comes to you; He is just and having salvation, patient, meek, lowly, and riding on a donkey, upon a colt, the foal of a donkey.

10 U në do t’i zhduk qerret nga Efraimi dhe kuajt nga Jeruzalemi; harqet e luftës do të asgjësohen. Ai do t’u flasë për paqe kombeve; sundimi i tij do të shtrihet nga deti në det, dhe nga Lumi deri në skaj të dheut.

And I will cut off and exterminate the war chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the battle bow shall be cut off; and He shall speak the word and peace shall come to the nations, and His dominion shall be from the Sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth!

11 S a për ty, për shkak të gjakut të besëlidhjes sime me ty, i çlirova robërit e tu nga gropa pa ujë.

As for you also, because of and for the sake of the covenant blood, I have released and sent forth your imprisoned people out of the waterless pit.

12 K thehuni në fortesë, o ju robër të shpresës! Pikërisht sot unë deklaroj se do të të jap dyfishin.

Return to the stronghold, you prisoners of hope; even today do I declare that I will restore double your former prosperity to you.

13 D o ta përkul Judën për mua si harkun tim dhe me Efraimin do ta mbush me shigjeta, dhe do t’i ngre në këmbë bijtë e tu, o Sion, kundër bijve të tu, o Javan, dhe do të të bëj si shpata e një njeriu të fuqishëm.

For I have bent Judah for Myself as My bow, filled the bow with Ephraim as My arrow, and will stir up your sons, O Zion, against your sons, O Greece, and will make you as the sword of a mighty man.

14 A tëherë mbi ta do të duket Zoti dhe shigjeta e tij do të niset si një rrufe. Zoti, Zoti, do t’i bjerë borisë dhe do të përparojë bashkë me shakullimat e jugut.

And the Lord shall be seen over them and His arrow shall go forth as the lightning, and the Lord God will blow the trumpet and will go forth in the windstorms of the south.

15 Z oti i ushtrive do t’i mbrojë; kështu ata do të gllabërojnë dhe do të shkelin gurët e hobeve të armiqve të tyre, do të pijnë dhe do të bëjnë zhurmë si të nxitur nga vera dhe do të jenë plot me gjak si legenat e vegjël që përdoren për flijime, si brirët e altarit.

The Lord of hosts shall defend and protect them; and they shall devour and they shall tread on as on slingstones, and they shall drink and be noisy and turbulent as from wine and become full like bowls, like the corners of the altar.

16 Z oti, Perëndia i tyre, do t’i shpëtojë atë ditë, si kopeja e popullit të tij, sepse do të jenë si gurët e çmuar të një kurore, që do të ngrihen lart si një flamur mbi tokën e tij.

And the Lord their God will save them on that day as the flock of His people, for they shall be as the jewels of a crown, lifted high over and shining glitteringly upon His land.

17 S a e madhe do të jetë mirësia e tij dhe sa e madhe bukuria e tij! Gruri do t’i rritë të rinjtë, dhe mushti vajzat.

For how great is God’s goodness and how great is His beauty! And how great goodliness and beauty! Grain shall make the young men thrive and fresh wine the maidens.
