1 U në i ngre sytë nga malet; nga do të më vijë ndihma?

I will lift up my eyes to the hills —From whence shall my help come?

2 N dihma me vjen nga Zoti, që ka bërë qiejtë dhe tokën.

My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

3 A i nuk do të lejojë që të të merren këmbët, ai që të mbron nuk do të dremitë.

He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.

4 J a, ai që mbron Izraelin nuk dremit dhe nuk fle.

Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

5 Z oti është ai që të mbron, Zoti është hija jote, ai ndodhet në të djathtën tënde.

The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand.

6 D ielli nuk ka për të të goditur ditën, as hëna natën.

The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

7 Z oti do të të ruajë nga çdo e keqe; ai do të ruajë jetën tënde.

The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.

8 Z oti do të ruajë daljet dhe hyrjet e tua, tani dhe përjetë.

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.
