1 M ulţumiţi-I Domnului, căci este bun, căci veşnică-I este îndurarea!

¶ O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good because his mercy endures for ever.

2 I srael să zică: „Veşnică-I este îndurarea!“

Let Israel now say that his mercy endures for ever.

3 C asa lui Aaron să zică: „Veşnică-I este îndurarea!“

Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endures for ever.

4 C ei ce se tem de Domnul să zică: „Veşnică-I este îndurarea!“

Let those that fear the LORD say now, that his mercy is eternal.

5 Î n mijlocul necazului L-am chemat pe Domnul şi Domnul mi-a răspuns şi m-a scos la loc larg.

From a tight place I called upon JAH; and JAH answered me and set me in a wide place.

6 D omnul este de partea mea; de aceea nu mă voi teme. Ce-mi poate face un om?!

The LORD is for me; I will not fear what man can do unto me.

7 D omnul este de partea mea; El este ajutorul meu. De aceea voi privi triumfător la cei ce mă urăsc.

The LORD takes my part with those that help me; therefore I shall see my desire upon those that hate me.

8 M ai bine să cauţi scăparea la Domnul, decât să te încrezi în om.

It is better to wait upon the LORD than to wait upon man.

9 M ai bine să cauţi scăparea la Domnul, decât să te încrezi în cei mari.

It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10 T oate neamurile mă înconjurau, dar le-am nimicit în Numele Domnului.

All the nations compassed me about; but in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

11 M ă încercuiau, da, mă împresurau, dar le-am respins în Numele Domnului.

They compassed me about; yea, they laid hold of me; but in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

12 M ă împresurau ca nişte albine, dar au fost stinse ca un foc de paie: le-am respins în Numele Domnului.

They compassed me about like bees; they were quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

13 E ram împins cu putere, ca să cad, dar Domnul m-a ajutat.

Thou hast thrust at me with violence that I might fall, but the LORD helped me.

14 D omnul este tăria şi cântarea mea; El a devenit mântuirea mea.

JAH is my strength and song and is become my saving health.

15 S trigăte de bucurie şi de izbăvire se înalţă din corturile celor drepţi; dreapta Domnului aduce izbânda.

The voice of singing and saving health is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

16 D reapta Domnului este înălţată; dreapta Domnului aduce izbânda.

The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

17 N u voi muri, ci voi trăi şi voi povesti lucrările Domnului.

I shall not die, but live and declare the works of JAH.

18 D omnul m-a disciplinat aspru, dar nu m-a dat morţii.

JAH has chastened me sore, but he has not given me over unto death.

19 D eschideţi-mi porţile dreptăţii, ca să intru să-L laud pe Domnul!

¶ Open unto me the gates of righteousness; I will go in through them; I will praise JAH.

20 A ceasta este poarta Domnului; cei drepţi intră pe ea.

This gate is of the LORD; the righteous shall enter in.

21 T e voi lăuda, căci mi-ai răspuns şi mi-ai dat izbăvire.

I will praise thee; for thou hast heard me and art become my saving health.

22 P iatra pe care au respins-o zidarii, a devenit piatra din capul unghiului.

The stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner.

23 D omnul a făcut acest lucru. El este o minune în ochii noştri.

This is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

24 A ceasta este ziua pe care Domnul a rânduit-o, pentru ca noi să ne veselim şi să ne bucurăm în ea.

This is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 D oamne, Te rugăm, mântuieşte-ne! Doamne, Te rugăm, dă-ne izbândă!

Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, cause us now to prosper.

26 B inecuvântat este Cel Ce vine în Numele Domnului! Vă binecuvântăm din Casa Domnului.

Blessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD; from the house of the LORD we bless you.

27 D omnul este Dumnezeu şi El ne luminează. Legaţi cu funii jertfa şi aduceţi-o până la coarnele altarului!

God is the LORD, who has shined on us; bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

28 T u eşti Dumnezeul meu şi Te voi lăuda! Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu şi Te voi înălţa!

Thou art my God, and I will praise thee; thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

29 M ulţumiţi-I Domnului, căci este bun, căci veşnică-I este îndurarea!
