1 ¶ O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good because his mercy endures for ever.

Mulţumiţi-I Domnului, căci este bun, căci veşnică-I este îndurarea!

2 L et Israel now say that his mercy endures for ever.

Israel să zică: „Veşnică-I este îndurarea!“

3 L et the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy endures for ever.

Casa lui Aaron să zică: „Veşnică-I este îndurarea!“

4 L et those that fear the LORD say now, that his mercy is eternal.

Cei ce se tem de Domnul să zică: „Veşnică-I este îndurarea!“

5 F rom a tight place I called upon JAH; and JAH answered me and set me in a wide place.

În mijlocul necazului L-am chemat pe Domnul şi Domnul mi-a răspuns şi m-a scos la loc larg.

6 T he LORD is for me; I will not fear what man can do unto me.

Domnul este de partea mea; de aceea nu mă voi teme. Ce-mi poate face un om?!

7 T he LORD takes my part with those that help me; therefore I shall see my desire upon those that hate me.

Domnul este de partea mea; El este ajutorul meu. De aceea voi privi triumfător la cei ce mă urăsc.

8 I t is better to wait upon the LORD than to wait upon man.

Mai bine să cauţi scăparea la Domnul, decât să te încrezi în om.

9 I t is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

Mai bine să cauţi scăparea la Domnul, decât să te încrezi în cei mari.

10 A ll the nations compassed me about; but in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

Toate neamurile mă înconjurau, dar le-am nimicit în Numele Domnului.

11 T hey compassed me about; yea, they laid hold of me; but in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

Mă încercuiau, da, mă împresurau, dar le-am respins în Numele Domnului.

12 T hey compassed me about like bees; they were quenched as the fire of thorns; for in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

Mă împresurau ca nişte albine, dar au fost stinse ca un foc de paie: le-am respins în Numele Domnului.

13 T hou hast thrust at me with violence that I might fall, but the LORD helped me.

Eram împins cu putere, ca să cad, dar Domnul m-a ajutat.

14 J AH is my strength and song and is become my saving health.

Domnul este tăria şi cântarea mea; El a devenit mântuirea mea.

15 T he voice of singing and saving health is in the tents of the righteous; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

Strigăte de bucurie şi de izbăvire se înalţă din corturile celor drepţi; dreapta Domnului aduce izbânda.

16 T he right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

Dreapta Domnului este înălţată; dreapta Domnului aduce izbânda.

17 I shall not die, but live and declare the works of JAH.

Nu voi muri, ci voi trăi şi voi povesti lucrările Domnului.

18 J AH has chastened me sore, but he has not given me over unto death.

Domnul m-a disciplinat aspru, dar nu m-a dat morţii.

19 ¶ Open unto me the gates of righteousness; I will go in through them; I will praise JAH.

Deschideţi-mi porţile dreptăţii, ca să intru să-L laud pe Domnul!

20 T his gate is of the LORD; the righteous shall enter in.

Aceasta este poarta Domnului; cei drepţi intră pe ea.

21 I will praise thee; for thou hast heard me and art become my saving health.

Te voi lăuda, căci mi-ai răspuns şi mi-ai dat izbăvire.

22 T he stone which the builders rejected is become the head of the corner.

Piatra pe care au respins-o zidarii, a devenit piatra din capul unghiului.

23 T his is the LORD’s doing; it is marvellous in our eyes.

Domnul a făcut acest lucru. El este o minune în ochii noştri.

24 T his is the day which the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

Aceasta este ziua pe care Domnul a rânduit-o, pentru ca noi să ne veselim şi să ne bucurăm în ea.

25 S ave now, I beseech thee, O LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, cause us now to prosper.

Doamne, Te rugăm, mântuieşte-ne! Doamne, Te rugăm, dă-ne izbândă!

26 B lessed be he that comes in the name of the LORD; from the house of the LORD we bless you.

Binecuvântat este Cel Ce vine în Numele Domnului! Vă binecuvântăm din Casa Domnului.

27 G od is the LORD, who has shined on us; bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

Domnul este Dumnezeu şi El ne luminează. Legaţi cu funii jertfa şi aduceţi-o până la coarnele altarului!

28 T hou art my God, and I will praise thee; thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu şi Te voi lăuda! Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu şi Te voi înălţa!
