1 ¶ Now these are the kings of the land which the sons of Israel smote and possessed their land on the other side of the Jordan toward the rising of the sun from the river Arnon unto Mount Hermon and all the plain on the east:

Regii Canaanului pe care israeliţii i-au învins şi ale căror teritorii le-au ocupat la răsărit de Iordan, de la uedul Arnon până la muntele Hermon, precum şi toată partea de răsărit a Arabei, sunt Sihon şi Og.

2 S ihon, king of the Amorites, who dwelt in Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is upon the bank of the river Arnon, and from the midst of the river and from half of Gilead, even unto the river Jabbok, which is the border of the sons of Ammon,

Sihon, regele amoriţilor, locuia la Heşbon şi domnea de la Aroer, care se află pe malul uedului Arnon, de la jumătatea uedului, peste o jumătate din Ghilad, până la uedul Iabok, hotarul amoniţilor.

3 a nd from the plain to the sea of Chinneroth on the east and unto the sea of the plain, the salt sea on the east, by the way to Bethjeshimoth, and from the Negev, under Ashdothpisgah.

El mai domnea de la Araba până la marea Chineret, în răsărit, şi până la Marea Arabei (Marea Sărată ), tot în răsărit, pe drumul către Bet-Ieşimot, iar în partea de sud până la poalele muntelui Pisga.

4 A nd the borders of Og, king of Bashan, who was of the remnant of the Rephaim, that dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edrei,

Og, regele Başanului, unul dintre ultimii refaiţi, locuia atât la Aştarot, cât şi la Edrei

5 a nd reigned in Mount Hermon and in Salcah and in all Bashan unto the borders of the Geshur and Maachath and half of Gilead, the border of Sihon, king of Heshbon.

şi domnea peste Hermon, Salca, peste întregul Başan până la hotarul gheşuriţilor şi al maacatiţilor şi peste jumătate din Ghilad până la hotarul cu Sihon, regele Heşbonului.

6 T hese did Moses, the slave of the LORD, and the sons of Israel smite; and Moses, the slave of the LORD, gave that land in possession unto the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half tribe of Manasseh.

Moise, robul Domnului, împreună cu israeliţii i-au cucerit, iar Moise, robul Domnului, a dat acest teritoriu, ca moştenire, rubeniţilor, gadiţilor şi jumătăţii seminţiei lui Manase. Regii din Cisiordania, înfrânţi de Iosua

7 ¶ And these are the kings of the land which Joshua and the sons of Israel smote on this side of the Jordan on the west from Baalgad in the plains of Lebanon even unto Mount Halak that goes up to Seir, which Joshua gave unto the tribes of Israel for a possession according to their divisions,

Iată care sunt regii ţării, pe care Iosua şi israeliţii i-au învins în partea de apus a Iordanului, de la Baal-Gad în Valea Libanului, până la muntele Halak, care se înalţă către Seir, al căror teritoriu l-a împărţit Iosua între seminţiile lui Israel, ca partea lor de moştenire,

8 i n the mountains and in the valleys and in the plains and in the springs and in the wilderness and towards the Negev: the Hittite, the Amorite, and the Canaanite, the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite,

teritoriu ce cuprindea regiunea muntoasă, Araba, zona deluroasă, poalele munţilor, pustia şi Neghevul (acesta era teritoriul hitiţilor, amoriţilor, canaaniţilor, periziţilor, hiviţilor şi iebusiţilor):

21 t he king of Taanach, another; the king of Megiddo, another;

22 t he king of Kedesh, another; the king of Jokneam of Carmel, another;

23 t he king of Dor in the province of Dor, another; the king of the Gentiles in Gilgal, another;
