1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Domnul i-a zis lui Moise:

2 I f a person commits a sin, a trespass against the LORD, and denies unto his neighbour that which was delivered unto him to keep or left in his hand, or in a thing stolen, or has slandered his neighbour;

„Dacă cineva dintre voi va păcătui şi va arăta necredincioşie faţă de Domnul, înşelându-şi semenul în legătură cu un lucru dat lui spre păstrare ori în garanţie sau în legătură cu un lucru însuşit prin jaf, sau dacă îşi va înşela semenul,

3 o r has found that which was lost and then denies it and swears falsely, in any of all these in which a man can sin,

minţind că nu a găsit un lucru pierdut, sau dacă face un jurământ fals cu privire la vreunul din aceste păcate pe care le-a săvârşit, făcându-se vinovat,

4 t hen it shall be that because he has sinned and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he stole, or for the damage of the slander, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

deci dacă va păcătui astfel, şi prin urmare, se va face vinovat, va trebui să dea înapoi ceea ce şi-a însuşit prin jaf sau minciună, să dea înapoi lucrul care i-a fost dat spre păstrare sau lucrul pierdut pe care l-a găsit

5 o r all that about which he has sworn falsely, he shall even restore it in the principal and shall add the fifth part more to it, for the one to whom it belongs, and he shall pay in the day of his guiltiness.

sau toate lucrurile despre care a făcut un jurământ fals; va trebui să-l restituie la întreaga lui valoare, adăugând încă o cincime din preţ. Să-l dea înapoi proprietarului de drept, chiar în ziua în care îşi va aduce jertfa pentru vină.

6 A nd he shall bring for the expiation of his guilt unto the LORD a ram without blemish out of the flock, in thy estimation, for his guilt, unto the priest;

Iar ca jertfă pentru vină să aducă Domnului pentru păcatul lui un berbec fără meteahnă din turmă, după aprecierea ta, şi să-l dea preotului.

7 a nd the priest shall reconcile him before the LORD, and he shall have forgiveness for any of all of the things in which he is guilty.

Preotul să facă ispăşire pentru acest om înaintea Domnului şi acesta din urmă va fi iertat de oricare dintre aceste păcate pe care le-a săvârşit, făcându-se vinovat.“ Instrucţiuni suplimentare pentru aducerea jertfelor. Arderea de tot

8 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

După aceea, Domnul i-a zis lui Moise:

9 C ommand Aaron and his sons, saying, This is the law of the burnt offering (it is the burnt offering because of the burning upon the altar all night unto the morning, and the fire of the altar shall be burning in it):

„Iată ce să le porunceşti lui Aaron şi fiilor săi: «Cu privire la legea arderii de tot, aceasta să rămână pe vatra altarului toată noaptea, până dimineaţa şi în felul acesta focul de pe altar să ardă continuu.

10 A nd the priest shall put on his linen garment, and his linen underwear shall he put upon his flesh, and when the fire has consumed the burnt offering, he shall take up the ashes with the burnt fat on the altar, and he shall put them beside the altar.

Preotul să se îmbrace cu veşmintele de in după ce şi-a luat izmenele pe el; să ia cenuşa arderii de tot de pe altar şi să o pună lângă altar.

11 T hen he shall put off his garments and put on other garments and carry forth the ashes with the burnt fat outside the camp unto a clean place.

Apoi să-şi scoată veşmintele, să-şi ia alte haine şi să ducă cenuşa într-un loc curat, în afara taberei.

12 A nd the fire burning upon the altar shall not be put out, but the priest shall put wood on it every morning and lay the burnt offering in order upon it, and he shall burn upon it the fat of the peace.

Focul de pe altar să continue să ardă şi să nu se stingă deloc. În fiecare dimineaţă preotul să ardă lemne pe altar, să pună pe ele arderea de tot şi să ardă deasupra grăsimea jertfelor de pace.

13 T he fire shall burn continuously upon the altar; it shall not be put out.

Focul să ardă continuu pe altar şi să nu se stingă deloc. Darul de mâncare

14 ¶ And this is the law of the present: the sons of Aaron shall offer it before the LORD, before the altar.

Cu privire la legea darului de mâncare, fiii lui Aaron să-l aducă înaintea Domnului, înaintea altarului.

15 A nd he shall take of it a handful of the flour of the present and of the oil thereof and all the frankincense which is upon the present and shall incense it upon the altar in an aroma of rest unto the LORD for a memorial.

Să ia un pumn din făina aleasă şi din uleiul pentru darul de mâncare, cu toată tămâia care a fost adăugată la acest dar de mâncare şi să le ardă pe altar ca jertfă de aducere-aminte de o aromă plăcută Domnului.

16 A nd the remainder thereof shall Aaron and his sons eat; without leaven it shall be eaten in the holy place; in the court of the tabernacle of the testimony they shall eat it.

Aaron şi fiii săi să mănânce ce va mai rămâne din ea; s-o mănânce sub formă de turte nedospite într-un loc sfânt; să le mănânce în curtea Cortului Întâlnirii.

17 I t shall not be baked with leaven. I have given it unto them for their portion of my offerings on fire; it is most holy, as is the atonement for sin and the expiation of guilt.

Să nu fie coapte cu aluat dospit. Aceasta este partea pe care Eu le-am dat-o din jertfele Mele mistuite de foc; ea este preasfântă, la fel ca jertfa pentru păcat şi jertfa pentru vină.

18 A ll the males among the sons of Aaron shall eat of it. It shall be a perpetual statute in your generations concerning the offerings on fire of the LORD; every thing that touches them shall be sanctified.

S-o mănânce fiecare bărbat dintre urmaşii lui Aaron. Aceasta este o poruncă veşnică pentru toate generaţiile, cu privire la jertfele mistuite de foc pentru Domnul; oricine se va atinge de ele va fi sfinţit.»“ Darul de mâncare al preotului

19 A nd the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Domnul i-a mai zis lui Moise:

20 T his shall be the offering of Aaron and of his sons, which they shall offer unto the LORD in the day when they shall be anointed: the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a perpetual present, half of it in the morning and half of it in the evening.

„Iată care este darul pe care Aaron şi fiii săi vor trebui să-l aducă Domnului în ziua în care vor primi ungerea: ca dar zilnic, să aducă a zecea parte dintr-o efă de făină aleasă, jumătate din ea dimineaţa şi jumătate seara.

21 I n a pan it shall be made with oil; and when it is fried, thou shalt bring it in; and the cooked pieces of the present shalt thou offer in a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.

Să fie făcută cu ulei într-o tigaie, iar după ce se va coace să fie tăiată în bucăţi şi adusă ca dar de mâncare de o aromă plăcută Domnului.

22 A nd the priest of his sons that is anointed in his stead shall offer it; it is a perpetual statute unto the LORD; it shall be completely burnt.

Preotul care va fi uns în locul lui Aaron, dintre fiii acestuia, să-l pregătească în acest fel. Aceasta este o poruncă veşnică înaintea Domnului: să fie ars în întregime.

23 A nd every present of a priest shall be completely burnt; it shall not be eaten.

Fiecare dar de mâncare al preotului să fie ars în întregime; nimic să nu se mănânce din el.“ Jertfa pentru păcat

24 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

Domnul i-a zis din nou lui Moise:

25 S peak unto Aaron and to his sons, saying, This shall be the law of sin: In the place where the burnt offering is killed shall the atonement as sin be killed before the LORD; for it is most holy.

„Aşa să le spui lui Aaron şi fiilor săi: «În ce priveşte legea jertfei pentru păcat, va trebui ca animalul destinat jertfei să fie înjunghiat înaintea Domnului, în locul în care este înjunghiat animalul destinat arderii de tot; aceasta este o jertfă preasfântă.

26 T he priest that offers it for the sin shall eat it; in the holy place shall it be eaten, in the court of the tabernacle of the testimony.

Preotul care aduce jertfa pentru păcat, acela să o mănânce; să fie mâncată într-un loc sfânt, în curtea Cortului Întâlnirii.

27 W hatever shall touch the flesh thereof shall be sanctified; and when some of the blood thereof is sprinkled upon any garment, thou shalt wash whatever it was sprinkled on in the holy place.

Oricine se atinge de carnea jertfei va fi sfinţit; dacă va sări sânge pe veşmânt, locul stropit să fie spălat într-un loc sfânt.

28 B ut the earthen vessel wherein it is cooked shall be broken; and if it is cooked in a brazen pot, it shall be both scoured and rinsed in water.

De asemenea, vasul de pământ în care a fost fiartă jertfa să fie spart, iar dacă a fost fiartă într-un vas de bronz, să fie frecat şi limpezit cu apă.

29 A ll the males among the priests shall eat of it; it is most holy.

Fiecare bărbat dintre preoţi să mănânce din ea; aceasta este o jertfă preasfântă.

30 A nd no atonement as sin, of which any of the blood is brought into the tabernacle of the testimony to reconcile in the sanctuary, shall be eaten; it shall be burnt in the fire.

Dar să nu se mănânce nici o jertfă pentru păcat din al cărei sânge se va aduce în Cortul Întâlnirii pentru facerea ispăşirii în Locul Sfânt, ci aceea să fie mistuită în foc.
