1 ¶ I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods I will sing praises unto thee.

Te voi lăuda din toată inima mea, Te voi cânta în prezenţa dumnezeilor!

2 I will worship the temple of thy holiness and praise thy name above thy mercy and thy truth; for thou hast made thy name to be magnificent and raised up thy spoken word above all things.

Mă voi închina în Templul Tău cel sfânt şi-Ţi voi lăuda Numele, pentru îndurarea Ta, pentru credincioşia Ta, pentru că Ţi-ai înălţat Numele şi cuvântul mai presus de orice.

3 I n the day when I called, thou didst answer me and strengthen me with strength in my soul.

În ziua când Te -am chemat, Tu mi-ai răspuns, m-ai îmbărbătat şi mi-ai întărit sufletul.

4 A ll the kings of the earth shall praise thee, O LORD, when they hearken unto the spoken words from thy mouth.

Doamne, toţi regii pământului Te vor lăuda când vor auzi cuvintele gurii Tale!

5 Y ea, they shall sing in the ways of the LORD: for great is the glory of the LORD.

Vor cânta căile Domnului, căci mare este slava Ta, Doamne!

6 ¶ For the LORD, who is high and lifted up, looks upon the humble, but the proud he does not know.

Deşi este înălţat, Domnul îl vede pe cel smerit şi îl cunoaşte de departe pe cel mândru.

7 T hough I walk in the midst of trouble, thou wilt revive me; thou shalt stretch forth thy hand against the wrath of my enemies, and thy right hand shall save me.

Când umblu prin mijlocul necazului, Tu mă înviorezi, Îţi întinzi mâna împotriva mâniei duşmanilor mei şi mă izbăveşti cu dreapta Ta.

8 T he LORD will perfect that which concerns me; thy mercy, O LORD, endures for ever; forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Domnul va isprăvi ce a început pentru mine. Doamne, îndurarea Ta este veşnică: nu părăsi lucrările mâinilor Tale!
