1 ¶ Let the LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; let the name of the God of Jacob lift thee up

Să-ţi răspundă Domnul în ziua necazului, să te ocrotească Numele Dumnezeului lui Iacov!

2 a nd send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion

Să-ţi trimită ajutor din Lăcaşul cel sfânt şi să te sprijine din Sion!

3 a nd remember all thy offerings and reduce thy burnt sacrifice to the ashes of burnt fat, Selah.

Să-Şi amintească de toate darurile tale de mâncare, şi să primească toate arderile tale de tot! Sela

4 G rant thee according to thine heart and fulfil all thy counsel.

Să-ţi dea după plăcerea inimii tale şi să-ţi împlinească toate planurile!

5 W e will rejoice in thy saving health, and in the name of our God we will be standard-bearers: let the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

Atunci vom striga de bucurie datorită biruinţei tale şi vom flutura steagul în Numele Dumnezeului nostru. Domnul să-ţi împlinească toate planurile!

6 ¶ Now know I that the LORD has kept his anointed; he will hear him from the heavens of his holiness with the saving valour of his right hand.

Acum eu ştiu că Domnul îl izbăveşte pe unsul Său; El îi va răspunde din cerul Său cel sfânt, prin isprăvile de mântuire ale dreptei Sale.

7 S ome trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Unii se bizuie pe care, alţii pe cai, dar noi ne bizuim pe Numele Dumnezeului nostru.

8 T hey are brought down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.

Ei se îndoaie şi cad, dar noi ne ridicăm şi stăm în picioare!

9 T he LORD saves the king; let him hear us on the day when we call.

Doamne, izbăveşte-l pe rege! Răspunde-ne când Te chemăm!
