1 ¶ Let the LORD hear thee in the day of trouble; let the name of the God of Jacob lift thee up

Que o Senhor te responda no tempo da angústia; o nome do Deus de Jacó te proteja!

2 a nd send thee help from the sanctuary and strengthen thee out of Zion

Do santuário te envie auxílio e de Sião te dê apoio.

3 a nd remember all thy offerings and reduce thy burnt sacrifice to the ashes of burnt fat, Selah.

Lembre-se de todas as tuas ofertas e aceite os teus holocaustos. Pausa

4 G rant thee according to thine heart and fulfil all thy counsel.

Conceda-te o desejo do teu coração e leve a efeito todos os teus planos.

5 W e will rejoice in thy saving health, and in the name of our God we will be standard-bearers: let the LORD fulfil all thy petitions.

Saudaremos a tua vitória com gritos de alegria e ergueremos as nossas bandeiras em nome do nosso Deus. Que o Senhor atenda todos os teus pedidos!

6 ¶ Now know I that the LORD has kept his anointed; he will hear him from the heavens of his holiness with the saving valour of his right hand.

Agora sei que o Senhor dará vitória ao seu ungido; dos seus santos céus lhe responde com o poder salvador da sua mão direita.

7 S ome trust in chariots and some in horses, but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

Alguns confiam em carros e outros em cavalos, mas nós confiamos no nome do Senhor, o nosso Deus.

8 T hey are brought down and fallen, but we are risen and stand upright.

Eles vacilam e caem, mas nós nos erguemos e estamos firmes.

9 T he LORD saves the king; let him hear us on the day when we call.

Senhor, concede vitória ao rei! Responde-nos quando clamamos!
