1 ¶ Afterward he brought me to the gate, even the gate that looks toward the east:

M-a dus apoi la poartă, poarta care dădea înspre răsărit.

2 A nd, behold, the glory of the God of Israel that was coming from the east; and his noise was like the noise of many waters: and the earth shined with his glory.

Şi iată că slava Dumnezeului lui Israel venea dinspre răsărit. Glasul Lui era ca vuietul unor ape mari, iar pământul strălucea de slava Lui.

3 A nd it was according to the appearance of the vision which I saw, even according to the vision that I saw when I came to destroy the city; and the visions were like the vision that I saw by the river Chebar; and I fell upon my face.

Vedenia aceasta era ca vedenia pe care am văzut-o înainte, ca vedenia pe care am avut-o când a venit să distrugă cetatea şi ca vedeniile pe care le-am avut la râul Chebar. Atunci am căzut cu faţa la pământ.

4 A nd the glory of the LORD came into the house by the way of the gate facing toward the east.

Slava Domnului a intrat în Casă pe poarta de răsărit.

5 S o the Spirit took me up and brought me into the inner court; and, behold, the glory of the LORD filled the house.

Atunci Duhul m-a ridicat şi m-a dus în curtea interioară. Şi iată că slava Domnului a umplut Casa.

6 A nd I heard him speaking unto me out of the house; and the man stood by me.

În timp ce omul stătea lângă mine, am auzit pe Cineva vorbindu-mi din Casă.

7 ¶ And he said unto me, Son of man, this is the place of my throne, and the place of the soles of my feet, in which I will dwell in the midst of the sons of Israel for ever, and my holy name, the house of Israel shall no longer defile, neither they, nor their kings, by their whoredom, nor by the carcasses of their kings in their altars.

El mi-a zis: „Fiul omului, acesta este locul tronului Meu, locul unde stă talpa piciorului Meu! Aici voi locui în mijlocul israeliţilor pe vecie. Cei din Casa lui Israel şi regii lor nu vor mai profana Numele Meu cel sfânt prin prostituţia lor şi prin trupurile moarte ale regilor lor la moartea lor.

8 I n their setting of their threshold by my threshold, and their post by my post, and a wall between me and them, they have even defiled my holy name by their abominations that they have committed; therefore I have consumed them in my anger.

Când îşi puneau pragul lângă pragul Meu şi uşorii alături de uşorii Mei, nefiind decât un zid între Mine şi ei, Îmi profanau Numele Meu cel sfânt prin urâciunile pe care le săvârşeau. De aceea i-am mistuit în mânia Mea.

9 N ow let them put away their whoredom, and the carcasses of their kings, far from me, and I will dwell in the midst of them for ever.

Acum, să îndepărteze dinaintea Mea prostituţia lor şi trupurile moarte ale regilor lor, iar Eu voi locui în mijlocul lor pe vecie.

10 T hou son of man, show this house to the house of Israel that they may be ashamed of their iniquities; and let them understand the pattern.

Tu, fiul omului, vorbeşte-le celor din Casa lui Israel despre Casa acesta pentru ca să le fie ruşine din pricina fărădelegilor lor! Lasă-i să-i măsoare planul!

11 A nd if they are ashamed of all that they have done, show them the form of the house, and its pattern, and the goings out thereof, and the comings in thereof, and all its figures, and all its descriptions, and all its paintings, and all its laws; and write it in their sight that they may keep the whole form thereof and all the ordinances thereof and do them.

Dacă le va fi ruşine de tot ce au făcut, fă-le cunoscut planul Casei cu întocmirea ei, cu ieşirile ei, cu intrările ei – întregul plan cu toate reglementările lui, întregul plan cu toate legile lui. Aşterne toate acestea în scris, de faţă cu ei, ca să respecte întocmai întregul plan şi toate reglementările lui!

12 T his is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain it shall be built; the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

Aceasta este Legea cu privire la Casă: toată zona de jur împrejurul muntelui este preasfântă. Iată, aceasta este Legea cu privire la Casă. Altarul şi consacrarea sa

13 ¶ And these are the measures of the altar in cubits: The cubit is a cubit and a hand breadth; the middle rim, one cubit, and the breadth a cubit, and the border thereof by the edge thereof round about of a span. This shall be the high bottom of the altar.

Iată care sunt măsurile în coţi ale altarului, cotul acesta fiind mai mare cu un lat de palmă decât cotul obişnuit: jgheabul este de un cot adâncime şi un cot lăţime, cu o margine, de jur împrejur, de o palmă. Iată care este înălţimea altarului:

14 A nd from the middle rim of the ground even to the lower settle, two cubits, and the breadth one cubit; and from the lesser settle to the greater settle, four cubits, and the breadth a cubit.

de la jgheabul aşezat pe pământ până la pervazul de jos este o înălţime de doi coţi, cu o lăţime de un cot. De la pervazul cel mic până la pervazul de sus este o înălţime de patru coţi, cu o lăţime de un cot.

15 S o the altar, of four cubits; and above the altar, four horns.

Vatra altarului este de patru coţi înălţime, iar din vatră se înalţă patru coarne.

16 A nd the altar was twelve cubits long, twelve broad, square on its four sides.

Vatra este de doisprezece coţi lungime şi doisprezece coţi lăţime, având patru laturi şi alcătuind astfel un pătrat.

17 A nd the patio was fourteen cubits long and fourteen broad on all four sides; and the border about it was half a cubit; and the middle which had a rim of a cubit on all sides; and its stairs were toward the east.

Pervazul superior este de paisprezece coţi lungime şi paisprezece coţi lăţime şi are patru laturi, cu o margine de jur împrejur largă de o jumătate de cot şi cu un jgheab de jur împrejur de un cot. Treptele altarului sunt în partea lui de răsărit.“

18 A nd he said unto me, Son of man, thus hath the Lord GOD said: These are the ordinances of the altar in the day when they shall make it, to offer burnt offerings thereon, and to sprinkle blood thereon.

El mi-a mai zis: „Fiul omului, aşa vorbeşte Stăpânul Domn: «Iată care sunt reglementările cu privire la altar pentru ziua când va fi construit ca să fie aduse pe el arderi de tot şi să se stropească pe el sânge:

19 A nd thou shalt give to the priests the Levites that be of the seed of Zadok, which approach unto me, to minister unto me, said the Lord GOD, a young bullock as sin.

Să le dai preoţilor un viţel tânăr ca să aducă o jertfă pentru păcat, şi anume leviţilor care sunt urmaşii lui Ţadok şi care au dreptul să se apropie de Mine ca să-Mi slujească, zice Stăpânul Domn.

20 A nd thou shalt take of its blood and put it on the four horns of the altar and on the four corners of the patio and upon the border round about: thus shalt thou remove the sin and reconcile it.

Să iei din sângele lui şi să ungi cele patru coarne ale altarului, cele patru colţuri ale pervazului de sus şi marginea, de jur împrejur. Să cureți astfel altarul şi să faci ispăşire pentru el.

21 T hen thou shalt take the bullock of the sin and burn it according to the law of the house, outside the sanctuary.

Să iei viţelul adus ca jertfă pentru păcat şi să-l arzi în locul anume rânduit de lângă Casă, în afara Lăcaşului.

22 A nd on the second day thou shalt offer a he goat without blemish as sin; and they shall remove the sin from the altar, as they removed it with the bullock.

A doua zi să aduci ca jertfă pentru păcat un ţap fără meteahnă. Să cureţe astfel altarul cum l-au curăţit şi cu sângele viţelului.

23 W hen thou hast finished removing the sin, thou shalt offer a young bullock without blemish and a ram out of the flock without blemish.

După ce vei termina curăţirea, să aduci un viţel tânăr şi un berbec din turmă, amândoi fără meteahnă.

24 A nd thou shalt offer them before the LORD, and the priests shall cast salt upon them, and they shall offer them up for a burnt offering unto the LORD.

Să-i aduci înaintea Domnului, iar preoţii să arunce pe ei sare şi să-i aducă Domnului ca ardere de tot.

25 S even days shalt thou prepare each day a he goat as sin; and a young bullock and a ram out of the flock, without blemish, shall they sacrifice.

Şapte zile la rând să aduci câte un ţap pe zi ca jertfă pentru păcat, precum şi câte un viţel tânăr şi câte un berbec din turmă, toţi fără meteahnă.

26 S even days shall they atone the altar, and they shall cleanse it; and they shall extend their hands.

Timp de şapte zile, preoţii să facă ispăşire pentru altar şi să-l cureţe; astfel îl vor dedica pentru slujbă.

27 A nd when these days are expired, it shall be, that upon the eighth day, and so forward, the priests shall sacrifice your burnt offerings upon the altar, and your peace offerings; and I will accept you, said the Lord GOD.

Când se vor încheia aceste zile, începând din ziua a opta, preoţii să aducă pe altar arderile voastre de tot şi jertfele voastre de pace şi Eu vă voi accepta, zice Stăpânul Domn.»“
