1 D omnul i-a zis Stăpânului meu: „Şezi la dreapta Mea, până voi face din duşmanii Tăi aşternut al picioarelor Tale!

¶ The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

2 D omnul va întinde toiagul puterii Tale din Sion. Stăpâneşte în mijlocul duşmanilor Tăi!

The LORD shall send the rod of thy strength out of Zion; rule thou in the midst of thine enemies.

3 P oporul Tău este dornic de luptă, când se adună oştirea Ta. Cu podoabe sfinte din tainiţa zorilor vei primi roua tineretului Tău. “

Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauty of holiness; as the dew which falls from the womb of the morning, thus shall those who are thine be born unto thee.

4 D omnul a jurat şi nu-I va părea rău: „Tu eşti preot în veci potrivit rânduielii lui Melhisedek.

The LORD has sworn and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.

5 S tăpânul este la dreapta Ta. El va zdrobi regi în ziua mâniei Sale.

¶ The Lord at thy right hand shall smite the kings in the day of his wrath.

6 E l va judeca neamurile, va umple pământul de leşuri şi va zdrobi căpeteniile întregului pământ.

He shall judge among the Gentiles; he shall fill their places with dead bodies; he shall wound the head over much of the earth.

7 E l va bea dintr-un pârâu de lângă drum; de aceea Îşi va înălţa fruntea.“

He shall drink of the brook in the way; therefore he shall lift up his head.
