1 C ând Dumnezeu Se ridică, duşmanii Lui să fie împrăştiaţi şi cei ce-L urăsc să fugă dinaintea feţei Sale.

¶ Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered; let those that hate him flee before him.

2 Î i risipeşti precum se risipeşte fumul; precum se topeşte ceara din cauza focului aşa pier cei răi dinaintea lui Dumnezeu.

As smoke is driven away; so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so shall the wicked perish at the presence of God.

3 C ei drepţi însă se bucură, se veselesc înaintea lui Dumnezeu şi chiuie de bucurie.

But the righteous shall be glad; they shall rejoice before God; they shall dance with joy.

4 C ântaţi-I lui Dumnezeu, lăudaţi Numele Lui, înălţaţi-L pe Cel Ce călăreşte pe nori şi al Cărui Nume este Domnul. Veseliţi-vă înaintea Lui!

Sing unto God, sing psalms unto his name; extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH and rejoice before him.

5 Î n Lăcaşul Său cel sfânt, Dumnezeu este tatăl orfanilor şi apărătorul văduvelor.

A father of the fatherless and a defender of the widows is God in his holy habitation.

6 D umnezeu dă o familie celor însinguraţi şi îi conduce spre belşug pe cei care sunt captivi; cei răzvrătiţi însă locuiesc într-un ţinut arid.

God sets the solitary in families; he brings out those who are bound with chains, but the rebellious dwell in a dry land.

7 D umnezeule, când Tu ai ieşit înaintea poporului Tău, când Tu ai mărşăluit prin pustie … Sela

¶ O God, when thou didst go forth before thy people, when thou didst march through the wilderness; Selah:

8 p ământul s-a cutremurat, cerurile au picurat înaintea lui Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul Sinaiului, înaintea lui Dumnezeu, Dumnezeul lui Israel.

The earth shook, the heavens also dropped their rain at the presence of God; even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.

9 D umnezeule, Tu ai legănat ca daruri de bunăvoie ploile; Tu Ţi-ai pregătit astfel moştenirea istovită.

Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful rain, by which thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary.

10 P oporul Tău a locuit-o din nou; Tu ai pregătit bunătăţile Tale pentru cel sărman, Dumnezeule!

Thy presence was in thy congregation; thou, O God, by thy goodness thou hast provided for the poor.

11 S tăpânul a vorbit, iar purtătoarele de veşti s-au făcut o armată mare:

The Lord shall give a word; great shall be the host of the evangelists thereof.

12 „ Regii oştirilor au fugit în mare grabă, iar cel rămas acasă a împărţit prada.

Kings of armies fled apace, and she that dwells in the house divided the spoil.

13 C hiar în timp ce voi vă odihniţi la stâne aripile porumbelului sunt acoperite cu argint şi penele lui cu aur sclipitor.“

Though ye be cast among the pots, yet shall ye be as the wings of a dove covered with silver and her feathers with yellow gold.

14 C ând i-a risipit Atotputernicul pe regi, parcă ningea în Ţalmon.

When the Almighty scattered the kings that were in her, she became white as the snow in Salmon.

15 M unţii Başan sunt munţi maiestuoşi, munţii Başan sunt munţi cu multe piscuri.

¶ The mountain of Bashan is the mountain of God; the mountain of Bashan is a high mountain.

16 M unţi cu multe piscuri, de ce invidiaţi muntele unde Îi place lui Dumnezeu să locuiască? Cu siguranţă Domnul locuieşte acolo pe vecie.

Why leap ye, ye high mountains? This is the mountain which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.

17 C arele lui Dumnezeu sunt cu miile şi cu miile de mii. Stăpânul vine în ele din Sinai, în Lăcaşul Lui cel sfânt.

The chariots of God are two thousand, thousands of angels; the Lord is among them as in Sinai, in the sanctuary.

18 C ând Te-ai suit în înălţime, ai luat în sclavie captivitatea; ai luat daruri pentru oameni, chiar şi pentru cei răzvrătiţi, ca ei, Doamne Dumnezeule, să locuiască acolo.

Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive; thou hast received gifts for men, yea, for the rebellious also that the LORD God might dwell among them.

19 B inecuvântat să fie Stăpânul, Care ne poartă poverile zi de zi, Dumnezeul mântuirii noastre. Sela

Blessed be the Lord, who daily lades us with benefits, even the God of our saving health. Selah.

20 D umnezeul nostru este un Dumnezeu al izbăvirilor. De la Stăpânul Domn vine scăparea de moarte.

He that is our God is the God of salvation, and unto GOD the Lord belongs the way of escape from death.

21 C u siguranţă Dumnezeu va zdrobi capul duşmanilor Săi, creştetul celor ce umblă în nelegiuirile lor.

Surely God shall smite the head of his enemies, and the hairy scalp of such a one as goes on still in his trespasses.

22 S tăpânul zice: „Îi voi aduce înapoi din Başan, îi voi aduce înapoi din adâncurile mării,

¶ The Lord said, I will bring again from Bashan, I will bring my people again from the depths of the sea:

23 c a să-ţi scufunzi picioarele în sânge, iar limba câinilor tăi să-şi ia partea din duşmanii tăi.“

Thy foot shall be dipped in the blood of thine enemies and the tongue of thy dogs in the same.

24 D umnezeule, ei privesc procesiunea intrării Tale, a intrării Dumnezeului meu, a Împăratului meu, în Lăcaşul cel sfânt.

They have seen thy ways, O God, even the ways of my God, my King, in the sanctuary.

25 Î n faţă merg cântăreţii, urmaţi de cei cu instrumente, iar în centru sunt fetele cu tamburine.

The singers went before, the players on instruments followed after; in between them were the virgins playing with timbrels.

26 B inecuvântaţi-L pe Dumnezeu în adunare, pe Domnul – la izvoarele lui Israel!

Bless ye God in the congregations, even the Lord, ye of the lineage of Israel.

27 A colo se află şi tânărul Beniamin, conducătorul lor, căpeteniile lui Iuda cu mulţimile lor, căpeteniile lui Zabulon, căpeteniile lui Neftali.

There was little Benjamin as their ruler, the princes of Judah in their congregation, the princes of Zebulun and the princes of Naphtali.

28 Î nvredniceşte-Te cu tărie, Dumnezeule, arată-ne puterea Ta, Dumnezeule, aşa cum ai făcut şi înainte pentru noi!

Thy God has commanded thy strength; confirm, O God, that which thou hast wrought for us.

29 D in pricina Templului Tău de la Ierusalim, regii Îţi vor aduce daruri.

From thy temple in Jerusalem shall kings bring presents unto thee.

30 M ustră fiara dintre trestii, cireada de tauri dintre viţeii popoarelor, care calcă în picioare bucăţile de argint! Împrăştie popoarele care-şi găsesc plăcerea în război!

Reprehend the company of spearmen, the multitude of the strong, with the lords of the peoples, trampling them underfoot with their pieces of silver; Destroy thou the peoples that delight in war.

31 A mbasadori vor veni din Egipt; Cuş va alerga cu mâinile întinse spre Dumnezeu.

Princes shall come out of Egypt; Ethiopia shall soon stretch out her hands unto God.

32 R egate ale pământului, cântaţi-I lui Dumnezeu, lăudaţi-L pe Stăpânul, Sela

¶ Sing unto God, ye kingdoms of the earth; O sing praises unto the Lord Selah:

33 p e Cel Ce călăreşte în ceruri, în cerurile veşnice! Iată, El face cu glasul Său un vuiet puternic!

To him that rides upon the heavens of the heavens which were of old; behold, he shall send forth his voice, his mighty voice.

34 P roclamaţi puterea lui Dumnezeu, a Cărui maiestate este peste Israel şi a Cărui putere este în ceruri.

Ascribe ye strength unto God; his excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the clouds.

35 D umnezeule, Tu eşti înfricoşător în Sfântul Tău Lăcaş; Dumnezeul lui Israel, chiar El dă putere şi tărie poporului! Binecuvântat să fie Dumnezeu!

O God, thou art terrible out of thy sanctuaries; the God of Israel is he that gives strength and power unto his people. Blessed be God.
