1 F raţilor, dacă un om este prins în vreo greșeală, voi, care sunteţi duhovniceşti, să-l îndreptaţi cu duhul blândeţii. Și fii atent la tine însuți, ca să nu fii ispitit și tu!

¶ Brethren, if anyone is overtaken in a fault, ye who are spiritual restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering thyself lest thou also be tempted.

2 P urtaţi-vă poverile unii altora şi veţi împlini astfel legea lui Cristos!

Bear ye one another’s burdens and so fulfil the law of the Christ.

3 D acă cineva crede că este ceva, când el nu este nimic, se înşală singur.

For if anyone thinks himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceives himself.

4 F iecare să-şi cerceteze propria sa lucrare şi atunci va avea un motiv de laudă numai cu privire la el însuşi, iar nu cu privire la alţii.

But let everyone prove his own work, and then he shall have glory regarding only himself, and not in another.

5 C ăci fiecare îşi va purta propria povară.

For everyone shall bear his own burden.

6 C el ce primește învăţătură din Cuvânt, trebuie să-i facă parte din toate lucrurile lui bune şi celui ce l-a învăţat.

Let the one that is taught in the word communicate unto the one that teaches in all good things.

7 N u vă înşelaţi! Dumnezeu nu Se lasă batjocorit! Ce seamănă omul, aceea va secera.

Do not deceive yourselves; God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows that shall he also reap.

8 C el care seamănă în firea lui va secera din firea lui putrezirea, dar cel care seamănă în Duhul va secera din Duhul viaţă veşnică.

For he that sows to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption, but he that sows in the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap eternal life.

9 S ă nu obosim făcând binele, pentru că, dacă nu vom cădea de oboseală, va veni şi timpul când vom secera.

And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap if we faint not.

10 A şadar, cât avem ocazia, trebuie să facem bine tuturor, în special celor din familia credinţei. Încheiere

Therefore as long as we have the opportunity, let us do good unto everyone, especially unto those who are of the household of faith.

11 V edeţi cu ce litere mari v-am scris chiar cu mâna mea!

¶ Ye see how large a letter I have written unto you with my own hand.

12 T oţi cei ce doresc să dea o impresie bună în ce priveşte trupul lor, vă obligă să fiţi circumcişi, numai ca să nu fie ei persecutaţi pentru crucea lui Cristos.

As many as desire to please in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised, only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of the Christ.

13 C ăci nici chiar ei, cei circumcişi, nu păzesc Legea, ci ei vor să fiţi circumcişi ca să se laude cu trupul vostru.

For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law, but desire to have you circumcised that they may glory in your flesh.

14 E u nu mă voi lăuda decât cu crucea Domnului nostru Isus Cristos, prin care lumea a fost răstignită faţă de mine, şi eu faţă de lume.

But in no wise should I glory, except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

15 C ăci nici circumcizia, nici necircumcizia nu sunt nimic, ci ceea ce contează este a fi o făptură nouă.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision avails any thing nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

16 P ace şi îndurare peste cei ce trăiesc după această poruncă şi peste Israelul lui Dumnezeu!

And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

17 Î n rest, nimeni să nu mă mai necăjească, pentru că port în trupul meu semnele lui Isus!

From now on let no one trouble me, for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

18 H arul Domnului nostru Isus Cristos să fie cu duhul vostru, fraţilor! Amin.
