5 O ut of my distress I called upon Jehovah: Jehovah answered me and set me in a large place.

Do meio da angústia invoquei o Senhor; o Senhor me ouviu, e me pôs em um lugar largo.

6 J ehovah is on my side; I will not fear: What can man do unto me?

O Senhor é por mim, não recearei; que me pode fazer o homem?

7 J ehovah is on my side among them that help me: Therefore shall I see my desire upon them that hate me.

O Senhor é por mim entre os que me ajudam; pelo que verei cumprido o meu desejo sobre os que me odeiam.

8 I t is better to take refuge in Jehovah Than to put confidence in man.

É melhor refugiar-se no Senhor do que confiar no homem.

9 I t is better to take refuge in Jehovah Than to put confidence in princes.

É melhor refugiar-se no Senhor do que confiar nos príncipes.

10 A ll nations compassed me about: In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

Todas as nações me cercaram, mas em nome do Senhor eu as exterminei.

11 T hey compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

Cercaram-me, sim, cercaram-me; mas em nome do Senhor eu as exterminei.

12 T hey compassed me about like bees; They are quenched as the fire of thorns: In the name of Jehovah I will cut them off.

Cercaram-me como abelhas, mas apagaram-se como fogo de espinhos; pois em nome do Senhor as exterminei.

13 T hou didst thrust sore at me that I might fall; But Jehovah helped me.

Com força me impeliste para me fazeres cair, mas o Senhor me ajudou.

14 J ehovah is my strength and song; And he is become my salvation.

O Senhor é a minha força e o meu cântico; tornou-se a minha salvação.

15 T he voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tents of the righteous: The right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.

Nas tendas dos justos há jubiloso cântico de vitória; a destra do Senhor faz proezas.

16 T he right hand of Jehovah is exalted: The right hand of Jehovah doeth valiantly.

A destra do Senhor se exalta, a destra do Senhor faz proezas.

17 I shall not die, but live, And declare the works of Jehovah.

Não morrerei, mas viverei, e contarei as obras do Senhor.

18 J ehovah hath chastened me sore; But he hath not given me over unto death.

O Senhor castigou-me muito, mas não me entregou ã morte.

19 O pen to me the gates of righteousness: I will enter into them, I will give thanks unto Jehovah.

Abre-me as portas da justiça, para que eu entre por elas e dê graças ao Senhor.

20 T his is the gate of Jehovah; The righteous shall enter into it.

Esta é a porta do Senhor; por ela os justos entrarão.

21 I will give thanks unto thee; for thou hast answered me, And art become my salvation.

Graças te dou porque me ouviste, e te tornaste a minha salvação.

22 T he stone which the builders rejected Is become the head of the corner.

A pedra que os edificadores rejeitaram, essa foi posta como pedra angular.

23 T his is Jehovah's doing; It is marvellous in our eyes.

Foi o Senhor que fez isto e é maravilhoso aos nossos olhos.

24 T his is the day which Jehovah hath made; We will rejoice and be glad in it.

Este é o dia que o Senhor fez; regozijemo-nos, e alegremo-nos nele.

25 S ave now, we beseech thee, O Jehovah: O Jehovah, we beseech thee, send now prosperity.

Ó Senhor, salva, nós te pedimos; ó Senhor, nós te pedimos, envia-nos a prosperidade.

26 B lessed be he that cometh in the name of Jehovah: We have blessed you out of the house of Jehovah.

Bendito aquele que vem em nome do Senhor; da casa do Senhor vos bendizemos.

27 J ehovah is God, and he hath given us light: Bind the sacrifice with cords, even unto the horns of the altar.

O Senhor é Deus, e nos concede a luz; atai a vítima da festa com cordas

28 T hou art my God, and I will give thanks unto thee: Thou art my God, I will exalt thee.

Tu és o meu Deus, e eu te darei graças; tu és o meu Deus, e eu te exaltarei.

29 O h give thanks unto Jehovah; for he is good; For his lovingkindness endureth for ever.
