1 A nd Jehovah called unto Moses, and spake unto him out of the tent of meeting, saying,

Ora, chamou o Senhor a Moisés e, da tenda da revelação, lhe disse:

2 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man of you offereth an oblation unto Jehovah, ye shall offer your oblation of the cattle, even of the herd and of the flock.

Fala aos filhos de Israel e dize-lhes: Quando algum de vós oferecer oferta ao Senhor, oferecereis as vossas ofertas do gado, isto é, do gado vacum e das ovelhas.

3 I f his oblation be a burnt-offering of the herd, he shall offer it a male without blemish: he shall offer it at the door of the tent of meeting, that he may be accepted before Jehovah.

Se a sua oferta for holocausto de gado vacum, oferecerá ele um macho sem defeito; ã porta da tenda da revelação o oferecerá, para que ache favor perante o Senhor.

4 A nd he shall lay his hand upon the head of the burnt-offering; and it shall be accepted for him to make atonement for him.

Porá a sua mão sobre a cabeça do holocausto, e este será aceito a favor dele, para a sua expiação.

5 A nd he shall kill the bullock before Jehovah: and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall present the blood, and sprinkle the blood round about upon the altar that is at the door of the tent of meeting.

Depois imolará o novilho perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, oferecerão o sangue, e espargirão o sangue em redor sobre o altar que está ã porta da tenda da revelação.

6 A nd he shall flay the burnt-offering, and cut it into its pieces.

Então esfolará o holocausto, e o partirá nos seus pedaços.

7 A nd the sons of Aaron the priest shall put fire upon the altar, and lay wood in order upon the fire;

E os filhos de Arão, o sacerdote, porão fogo sobre o altar, pondo em ordem a lenha sobre o fogo;

8 a nd Aaron's sons, the priests, shall lay the pieces, the head, and the fat, in order upon the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

também os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, porão em ordem os pedaços, a cabeça e a gordura, sobre a lenha que está no fogo em cima do altar;

9 b ut its inwards and its legs shall he wash with water: and the priest shall burn the whole on the altar, for a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

a fressura, porém, e as pernas, ele as lavará com água; e o sacerdote queimará tudo isso sobre o altar como holocausto, oferta queimada, de cheiro suave ao Senhor.

10 A nd if his oblation be of the flock, of the sheep, or of the goats, for a burnt-offering; he shall offer it a male without blemish.

Se a sua oferta for holocausto de gado miúdo, seja das ovelhas seja das cabras, oferecerá ele um macho sem defeito,

11 A nd he shall kill it on the side of the altar northward before Jehovah: and Aaron's sons, the priests, shall sprinkle its blood upon the altar round about.

e o imolará ao lado do altar que dá para o norte, perante o Senhor; e os filhos de Arão, os sacerdotes, espargirão o sangue em redor sobre o altar.

12 A nd he shall cut it into its pieces, with its head and its fat; and the priest shall lay them in order on the wood that is on the fire which is upon the altar:

Então o partirá nos seus pedaços, juntamente com a cabeça e a gordura; e o sacerdote os porá em ordem sobre a lenha que está no fogo sobre o altar;

13 b ut the inwards and the legs shall he wash with water; and the priest shall offer the whole, and burn it upon the altar: it is a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.

a fressura, porém, e as pernas, ele as lavará com água; e o sacerdote oferecerá tudo isso, e o queimará sobre o altar; holocausto é, oferta queimada, de cheiro suave ao Senhor.

14 A nd if his oblation to Jehovah be a burnt-offering of birds, then he shall offer his oblation of turtle-doves, or of young pigeons.

Se a sua oferta ao Senhor for holocausto tirado de aves, então de rolas ou de pombinhos oferecerá a sua oferta.

15 A nd the priest shall bring it unto the altar, and wring off its head, and burn it on the altar; and the blood thereof shall be drained out on the side of the altar;

E o sacerdote a trará ao altar, tirar-lhe-á a cabeça e a queimará sobre o altar; e o seu sangue será espremido na parede do altar;

16 a nd he shall take away its crop with the filth thereof, and cast it beside the altar on the east part, in the place of the ashes:

e o seu papo com as suas penas tirará e o lançará junto ao altar, para o lado do oriente, no lugar da cinza;

17 a nd he shall rend it by the wings thereof, but shall not divide it asunder; and the priest shall burn it upon the altar, upon the wood that is upon the fire: it is a burnt-offering, an offering made by fire, of a sweet savor unto Jehovah.
