1 ( По слав. 82.) Асафова псаломска песен. Боже, недей мълча; не премълчавай, нито бивай безмълвен, Боже;

O God, do not remain quiet; Do not be silent and, O God, do not be still.

2 з ащото, ето, враговете Ти правят размирие и ненавистниците Ти са издигнали глава.

For behold, Your enemies make an uproar, And those who hate You have exalted themselves.

3 К оварен съвет правят против Твоя народ и се наговарят против скритите Твои.

They make shrewd plans against Your people, And conspire together against Your treasured ones.

4 К азаха: Елате да ги изтребим, за да не са народ и да не се споменава вече името на Израел.

They have said, “Come, and let us wipe them out as a nation, That the name of Israel be remembered no more.”

5 З ащото единодушно се съгласиха заедно, направиха съюз против Тебе -

For they have conspired together with one mind; Against You they make a covenant:

6 ш атрите на Едом и исмаилтяните; Моав и агаряните,

The tents of Edom and the Ishmaelites, Moab and the Hagrites;

7 Г евал, Амон и Амалик, филистимците с тирските жители;

Gebal and Ammon and Amalek, Philistia with the inhabitants of Tyre;

8 о ще и Асирия се съедини с тях, станаха помощници на Лотовите потомци. (Села.)

Assyria also has joined with them; They have become a help to the children of Lot. Selah.

9 С торѝ им като на мадиамците, като на Сисара, като на Явин при потока Кисон,

Deal with them as with Midian, As with Sisera and Jabin at the torrent of Kishon,

10 к оито загинаха в Ендор, като станаха тор на земята.

Who were destroyed at En-dor, Who became as dung for the ground.

11 Н аправѝ благородните им като Орив и Зив, дори всичките им първенци като Зевей и Салман,

Make their nobles like Oreb and Zeeb And all their princes like Zebah and Zalmunna,

12 к оито казаха: Да усвоим за себе си Божиите заселища.

Who said, “ Let us possess for ourselves The pastures of God.”

13 Б оже мой, направи ги като въртящия се прах, като плява пред вятъра.

O my God, make them like the whirling dust, Like chaff before the wind.

14 К акто огънят изгаря дърветата и както пламъкът запалва горите,

Like fire that burns the forest And like a flame that sets the mountains on fire,

15 т ака ги прогони с урагана Си и ги смути с бурята Си.

So pursue them with Your tempest And terrify them with Your storm.

16 П окрий лицата им с позор, за да потърсят Твоето име, Господи.

Fill their faces with dishonor, That they may seek Your name, O Lord.

17 Н ека се посрамят и ужасят завинаги. Да! Нека се смутят и погинат,

Let them be ashamed and dismayed forever, And let them be humiliated and perish,

18 з а да познаят, че Ти, Чието име е Йехова, един си Всевишен над цялата земя.

That they may know that You alone, whose name is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.
