1 А като мина съботата, в първия ден от седмицата дойдоха Мария Магдалена и другата Мария да видят гроба.

Now after the Sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the grave.

2 И , ето, стана голям трус; защото ангел от Господа слезе от небето и пристъпи, отвали камъка и седна на него.

And behold, a severe earthquake had occurred, for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven and came and rolled away the stone and sat upon it.

3 И згледът му беше като светкавица и облеклото му бяло като сняг.

And his appearance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow.

4 И в страха си от него стражарите трепереха и станаха като мъртви.

The guards shook for fear of him and became like dead men.

5 А ангелът проговори на жените: Вие не се бойте, защото зная, че търсите разпънатия Исус.

The angel said to the women, “ Do not be afraid; for I know that you are looking for Jesus who has been crucified.

6 Н яма Го тук; защото възкръсна, както и каза. Елате и вижте мястото, където е лежал Господ.

He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

7 И дете бързо да кажете на учениците Му, че е възкръснал от мъртвите. И, ето, Той отива преди вас в Галилея; там ще Го видите; ето, казах ви.

Go quickly and tell His disciples that He has risen from the dead; and behold, He is going ahead of you into Galilee, there you will see Him; behold, I have told you.”

8 И те излязоха бързо от гроба със страх и голяма радост и се завтекоха да известят на учениците Му.

And they left the tomb quickly with fear and great joy and ran to report it to His disciples.

9 И , ето, Исус ги срещна и каза: Здравейте! А те се приближиха и се хванаха за нозете Му, и Му се поклониха.

And behold, Jesus met them and greeted them. And they came up and took hold of His feet and worshiped Him.

10 Т огава Исус им каза: Не бойте се. Идете и кажете на братята Ми да идат в Галилея и там ще Ме видят.

Then Jesus said to them, “ Do not be afraid; go and take word to My brethren to leave for Galilee, and there they will see Me.”

11 К огато те отидоха, ето, някои от стражата дойдоха в града и известиха на главните свещеници всичко, което беше станало.

Now while they were on their way, some of the guard came into the city and reported to the chief priests all that had happened.

12 А те, след като се събраха със старейшините и се съвещаваха, дадоха на войниците доста пари и казаха:

And when they had assembled with the elders and consulted together, they gave a large sum of money to the soldiers,

13 К ажете, че учениците Му дойдоха през нощта и Го откраднаха, когато ние спяхме.

and said, “You are to say, ‘His disciples came by night and stole Him away while we were asleep.’

14 И ако слухът за това стигне до управителя, ние ще го убедим да не ви наказва и така ще ви избавим от тревоги.

And if this should come to the governor’s ears, we will win him over and keep you out of trouble.”

15 А те взеха парите и постъпиха, както бяха научени. И това, което те казаха, се разнесе между юдеите и продължава даже и до днес. Заветът на възкръсналия Исус Христос към учениците Му

And they took the money and did as they had been instructed; and this story was widely spread among the Jews, and is to this day. The Great Commission

16 А единадесетте ученика отидоха в Галилея, на хълма, където Исус им беше посочил.

But the eleven disciples proceeded to Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had designated.

17 И като Го видяха, поклониха Му се; а някои се усъмниха.

When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some were doubtful.

18 Т огава Исус се приближи към тях и заговори: Даде Ми се всяка власт на небето и на земята.

And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “ All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.

19 И така, идете и създавайте ученици измежду всички народи, и ги кръщавайте в името на Отца и Сина, и Святия Дух,

Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,

20 к ато ги учите да пазят всичко, което съм ви заповядал. И, ето, Аз съм с вас през всички дни до свършека на века.

teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”
