1 А шест дни преди Пасха Исус дойде във Витания, където беше Лазар, когото Той възкреси от мъртвите.

Jesus, therefore, six days before the Passover, came to Bethany where Lazarus was, whom Jesus had raised from the dead.

2 Т ам му приготвиха вечеря и Марта прислужваше; а Лазар беше един от тези, които седяха с Него на трапезата.

So they made Him a supper there, and Martha was serving; but Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him.

3 Т огава Мария, като взе един литър миро от чист и скъпоценен нард, помаза нозете на Исус и с косата си ги избърса, и къщата се изпълни с аромат от мирото.

Mary then took a pound of very costly perfume of pure nard, and anointed the feet of Jesus and wiped His feet with her hair; and the house was filled with the fragrance of the perfume.

4 Н о един от учениците Му, Юда Искариотски, който щеше да Го предаде, каза:

But Judas Iscariot, one of His disciples, who was intending to betray Him, said,

5 З ащо не се продаде това миро за триста динария, за да се раздадат на сиромасите?

“Why was this perfume not sold for three hundred denarii and given to poor people ?”

6 А това каза, не защото го беше грижа за сиромасите, а защото беше крадец и като държеше касата, вземаше от това, което пускаха в нея.

Now he said this, not because he was concerned about the poor, but because he was a thief, and as he had the money box, he used to pilfer what was put into it.

7 Т огава Исус каза: Оставете я; понеже го е запазила за деня на погребението Ми.

Therefore Jesus said, “Let her alone, so that she may keep it for the day of My burial.

8 С иромасите винаги се намират между вас, но Аз не съм всякога между вас.

For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have Me.”

9 А голямо множество от юдеите узнаха, че е там; и дойдоха, не само заради Исус, но за да видят и Лазар, когото Той възкреси от мъртвите.

The large crowd of the Jews then learned that He was there; and they came, not for Jesus’ sake only, but that they might also see Lazarus, whom He raised from the dead.

10 А главните свещеници се наговориха да убият и Лазар,

But the chief priests planned to put Lazarus to death also;

11 з ащото поради него много юдеи се отдръпнаха от тях и вярваха в Исус. Тържественото влизане в Йерусалим

because on account of him many of the Jews were going away and were believing in Jesus. Jesus Enters Jerusalem

12 Н а следващия ден едно голямо множество, което беше дошло на празника, като чуха, че Исус пристига в Йерусалим,

On the next day the large crowd who had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

13 в зеха палмови клони и излязоха да Го посрещнат, като викаха: Осанна! Благословен, Който идва в Господнето име, Израелевият Цар!

took the branches of the palm trees and went out to meet Him, and began to shout, “ Hosanna! Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord, even the King of Israel.”

14 А Исус, като намери едно осле, възседна го, според както е писано:

Jesus, finding a young donkey, sat on it; as it is written,

15 " Не бой се, дъще Сионова. Ето, твоят Цар иде, възседнал осле."

“ Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your King is coming, seated on a donkey’s colt.”

16 У чениците Му отначало не разбраха това. А когато Исус се прослави, тогава си спомниха, че това беше писано за Него и че това направиха за Него.

These things His disciples did not understand at the first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written of Him, and that they had done these things to Him.

17 А множеството, което беше с Него, когато повика Лазар от гроба и го възкреси от мъртвите, свидетелстваше за това чудо.

So the people, who were with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead, continued to testify about Him.

18 П о същата причина Го посрещна и народът, защото чуха, че извършил това знамение.

For this reason also the people went and met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.

19 З атова фарисеите си говореха помежду си: Вижте, че нищо не постигаме! Ето, светът отиде след Него. Елините искат да видят Исус Христос

So the Pharisees said to one another, “You see that you are not doing any good; look, the world has gone after Him.” Greeks Seek Jesus

20 А между онези, които дойдоха на поклонение на празника, имаше и някои гърци.

Now there were some Greeks among those who were going up to worship at the feast;

21 Т е отидоха при Филип, който беше от Витсаида Галилейска, и го помолиха с думите: Господине, искаме да видим Исус.

these then came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida of Galilee, and began to ask him, saying, “Sir, we wish to see Jesus.”

22 Ф илип отиде и каза на Андрей, а Андрей и Филип отидоха и казаха на Исус.

Philip came and told Andrew; Andrew and Philip came and told Jesus.

23 А Исус им отговори: Дойде часът да се прослави Човешкият Син.

And Jesus answered them, saying, “ The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

24 И стина, истина ви казвам: Ако житното зърно не падне в земята и не умре, то си остава само̀; но ако умре, дава много плод.

Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.

25 К ойто обича живота си, ще го изгуби; а който мрази живота си на този свят, ще го запази за вечен живот.

He who loves his life loses it, and he who hates his life in this world will keep it to life eternal.

26 А ко някой служи на Мене, нека Ме последва; и където съм Аз, там ще бъде и служителят Ми; който служи на Мене, него ще почете Моят Отец. Исус Христос говори за Своята смърт

If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also; if anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him. Jesus Foretells His Death

27 С ега душата Ми е развълнувана; и какво да кажа? Отче, избави Ме от този час. Но за това дойдох на този час.

“ Now My soul has become troubled; and what shall I say, ‘ Father, save Me from this hour’? But for this purpose I came to this hour.

28 О тче, прослави името Си! Тогава дойде глас от небето: Прославих Го и отново ще Го прославя.

Father, glorify Your name.” Then a voice came out of heaven: “I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.”

29 Т огава множеството, което стоеше там, като чу гласа, каза: Гръм е. А други казаха: Ангел Му говори.

So the crowd of people who stood by and heard it were saying that it had thundered; others were saying, “ An angel has spoken to Him.”

30 И сус отговори: Този глас не дойде заради Мен, а заради вас.

Jesus answered and said, “ This voice has not come for My sake, but for your sakes.

31 С ега е съд на този свят. Сега князът на този свят ще бъде изхвърлен вън.

Now judgment is upon this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.

32 И когато Аз бъда издигнат от земята, ще привлека всички при Себе Си.

And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”

33 А като каза това, Той посочи от каква смърт щеше да умре.

But He was saying this to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die.

34 Т огава множеството Му отговори: Ние сме чули от закона, че Христос пребъдва до века. Защо тогава Ти казваш, че Човешкият Син трябва да бъде издигнат? Кой е Този Човешки Син?

The crowd then answered Him, “We have heard out of the Law that the Christ is to remain forever; and how can You say, ‘The Son of Man must be lifted up’ ? Who is this Son of Man?”

35 Т огава Исус им каза: Още малко Светлината е между вас. Ходете, докато имате Светлината, за да не ви настигне тъмнината. Който ходи в тъмнината, не знае къде отива.

So Jesus said to them, “ For a little while longer the Light is among you. Walk while you have the Light, so that darkness will not overtake you; he who walks in the darkness does not know where he goes.

36 Д окато имате Светлината, вярвайте в Светлината, за да станете синове на Светлината. Това изговори Исус, отиде си и се скри от тях.

While you have the Light, believe in the Light, so that you may become sons of Light.” These things Jesus spoke, and He went away and hid Himself from them.

37 Н о независимо че беше извършил толкова знамения пред тях, те пак не вярваха в Него;

But though He had performed so many signs before them, yet they were not believing in Him.

38 з а да се изпълни изреченото от пророк Исая, който каза: "Господи, кой е повярвал в известеното от нас? И мишцата Господня на кого се е открила?"

This was to fulfill the word of Isaiah the prophet which he spoke: “ Lord, who has believed our report ? And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed ?”

39 Т е затова не можеха да вярват, защото Исая също е казал:

For this reason they could not believe, for Isaiah said again,

40 " Ослепил е очите им и закоравил сърцата им, да не би с очи да видят и със сърца да разберат, за да се обърнат и да ги изцеля."

“ He has blinded their eyes and He hardened their heart, so that they would not see with their eyes and perceive with their heart, and be converted and I heal them.”

41 Т ова каза Исая, защото видя славата Му и говорѝ за Него.

These things Isaiah said because he saw His glory, and he spoke of Him.

42 Н о пак мнозина от първенците повярваха в Него; но заради фарисеите не Го изповядаха, за да не бъдат отлъчени от синагогата;

Nevertheless many even of the rulers believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they were not confessing Him, for fear that they would be put out of the synagogue;

43 з ащото обикнаха повече похвалата от човеците, отколкото похвалата от Бога.

for they loved the approval of men rather than the approval of God.

44 А Исус издигна глас и каза: Който вярва в Мене, не в Мене вярва, но в Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

And Jesus cried out and said, “ He who believes in Me, does not believe in Me but in Him who sent Me.

45 И който гледа Мене, гледа Онзи, Който Ме е пратил.

He who sees Me sees the One who sent Me.

46 А з дойдох като Светлина в света, за да не остане в тъмнина никой, който вярва в Мен,

I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.

47 и ако някой чуе думите Ми и не ги пази, Аз не го съдя; защото не дойдох да съдя света, но да спася света.

If anyone hears My sayings and does not keep them, I do not judge him; for I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

48 К ойто Ме отхвърля и не приема думите Ми, има кой да го съди. Словото, което говорих, то ще го съди в последния ден.

He who rejects Me and does not receive My sayings, has one who judges him; the word I spoke is what will judge him at the last day.

49 З ащото Аз не говорих от Себе Си; но Отец, Който Ме изпрати, Той Ми даде заповед какво да кажа и какво да говоря.

For I did not speak on My own initiative, but the Father Himself who sent Me has given Me a commandment as to what to say and what to speak.

50 И зная, че онова, което Той заповядва, е вечен живот. И така, това, което говоря, говоря го така, както Ми е казал Отец.

I know that His commandment is eternal life; therefore the things I speak, I speak just as the Father has told Me.”
