1 А лілуя! Блажен муж, що боїться Господа, що заповіді Його любить!

Praise ye Jehovah. Blessed is the man that feareth Jehovah, That delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 Б уде сильним насіння його на землі, буде поблагословлений рід безневинних!

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: The generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 Б агатство й достаток у домі його, а правда його пробуває навіки!

Wealth and riches are in his house; And his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 С вітло сходить у темряві для справедливих, Він ласкавий, і милостивий, і праведний!

Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: He is gracious, and merciful, and righteous.

5 Д обрий муж милостивий та позичає, удержує справи свої справедливістю,

Well is it with the man that dealeth graciously and lendeth; He shall maintain his cause in judgment.

6 і навіки він не захитається, у вічній пам'яті праведний буде!

For he shall never be moved; The righteous shall be had in everlasting remembrance.

7 Н е боїться він звістки лихої, його серце міцне, надію складає на Господа!

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: His heart is fixed, trusting in Jehovah.

8 У міцнене серце його не боїться, бо він бачить нещастя поміж ворогами своїми!

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, Until he see his desire upon his adversaries.

9 В ін щедро убогим дає, його правда навіки стоїть, його ріг підіймається в славі!

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the needy; His righteousness endureth for ever: His horn shall be exalted with honor.

10 Ц е бачить безбожний та гнівається, скрегоче зубами своїми та тане... Бажання безбожних загине!

The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; He shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: The desire of the wicked shall perish.
