1 А лілуя! Хваліте Господнє ім'я, хваліте, Господні раби,

Praise ye Jehovah. Praise ye the name of Jehovah; Praise him, O ye servants of Jehovah,

2 щ о стоїте в домі Господньому, на подвір'ях дому нашого Бога!

Ye that stand in the house of Jehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.

3 Х валіть Господа, бо добрий Господь, співайте іменню Його, бо приємне воно,

Praise ye Jehovah; for Jehovah is good: Sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.

4 б о вибрав Господь собі Якова, ізраїля на власність Свою!

For Jehovah hath chosen Jacob unto himself, And Israel for his own possession.

5 З наю бо я, що Господь і Владика наш більший від богів усіх!

For I know that Jehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.

6 В се, що хоче Господь, те Він чинить на небі та на землі, на морях та по всяких глибинах!

Whatsoever Jehovah pleased, that hath he done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;

7 П ідіймає Він хмари від краю землі, блискавиці вчинив для дощу, випроваджує вітер з запасів Своїх.

Who causeth the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who maketh lightnings for the rain; Who bringeth forth the wind out of his treasuries;

8 В ін позабивав перворідних Єгипту, від людини аж до скотини.

Who smote the first-born of Egypt, Both of man and beast;

9 В ін послав між Єгипет ознаки та чуда, на фараона і на рабів всіх його.

Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;

10 В ін уразив багато народів, і потужних царів повбивав:

Who smote many nations, And slew mighty kings,

11 С игона, царя амореян, і Оґа, Башану царя, та всіх ханаанських царів.

Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,

12 і Він дав їхню землю спадщиною, на спадок ізраїлеві, Своєму народові.

And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage unto Israel his people.

13 Г осподи, Ймення Твоє віковічне, Господи, пам'ять Твоя з роду в рід!

Thy name, O Jehovah, endureth for ever; Thy memorial name, O Jehovah, throughout all generations.

14 Б о буде судити Господь Свій народ, та змилосердиться Він над Своїми рабами.

For Jehovah will judge his people, And repent himself concerning his servants.

15 Б ожки людів то срібло та золото, діло рук людських:

The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.

16 в они мають уста й не говорять, очі мають вони і не бачать,

They have mouths, but they speak not; Eyes have they, but they see not;

17 м ають уші й не чують, в їхніх устах нема віддиху!

They have ears, but they hear not; Neither is there any breath in their mouths.

18 Н ехай стануть такі, як вони, ті, хто їх виробляє, усі, хто надію на них покладає!

They that make them shall be like unto them; Yea, every one that trusteth in them.

19 Д оме ізраїлів, благословіть Господа! Аароновий доме, благословіть Господа!

O house of Israel, bless ye Jehovah: O house of Aaron, bless ye Jehovah:

20 Д оме Левіїв, благословіть Господа! Хто боїться Господа, благословіть Господа!

O house of Levi, bless ye Jehovah: Ye that fear Jehovah, bless ye Jehovah.

21 Б лагословенний Господь від Сіону, що мешкає в Єрусалимі! Алілуя!

Blessed be Jehovah out of Zion, Who dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye Jehovah.
