1 W axay yimaadeen dhanka kale oo badda ilaa dalkii Gadareni.

Jesus and His followers came to the other side of the sea to the country of the Gerasenes.

2 G oortuu doonnidii ka degay, kolkiiba waxaa la kulmay nin xabaalaha ka soo baxay oo jinni wasakh leh qaba.

He got out of the boat. At once a man came to Him from among the graves. This man had a demon.

3 I sagu xabaalaha ayuu dhex fadhiyi jiray, oo ninna xataa silsilad kuma xidhi kari jirin.

He lived among the graves. No man could tie him, even with chains.

4 M axaa yeelay, marar badan bir cagaha iyo silsilado waa lagu xidhi jiray, silsiladihiina ayuu iska gooyn jiray, bir cagahana wuu kala jejebin jiray. Ninna ka adkaan kari waayay.

Many times he had been tied with chains on his feet. He had broken the chains as well as the irons from his hands and legs. No man was strong enough to keep him tied.

5 W eligiiba, habeen iyo maalin, ayuu buuraha iyo xabaalaha joogi jiray isagoo qaylinaya oo dhagaxyona isku jarjaraya.

Night and day he was among the graves and in the mountains. He would cry out and cut himself with stones.

6 L aakiin goortuu Ciise meel fog ka arkay, ayuu ku soo orday oo u sujuuday.

When the man with the demon saw Jesus a long way off, he ran and worshiped Him.

7 M arkaasuu cod weyn ku qayliyey oo ku yidhi, Maxaa inoo dhexeeya, Ciisow adigoo ah Wiilka Ilaaha sarow? Ilaah baan kugu dhaarinayaa, Ha i silcin.

The man spoke with a loud voice and said, “What do You want with me, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I ask You, in the name of God, do not hurt me!”

8 W aayo, wuxuu ku yidhi, Ka soo bax ninka, jinni wasakh lahow.

At the same time, Jesus was saying, “Come out of the man, you demon!”

9 M arkaasuu weyddiiyey, Magacaa? Wuxuu ugu jawaabay, Waxaa lay yidhaahdaa, Liijon, waayo, annagu waa badan nahay.

Jesus asked the demon, “What is your name?” He said, “My name is Many, for there are many of us.”

10 A ad buuna uga baryay inaanu dalka ka eryin.

The demons asked Jesus not to send them out of the country.

11 B uurta sinteedana waxaa joogay daaqsin weyn oo doofaarro ah oo daaqaysa.

There were many pigs feeding on the mountain side.

12 J inniyadii oo dhan baa baryeen, oo waxay ku yidhaahdeen, Noo dir doofaarrada inaannu galno.

The demons asked Him saying, “Send us to the pigs that we may go into them.”

13 K olkiiba Ciise baa u fasaxay. Markaasaa jinniyadii wasakhda lahayd baxeen, oo waxay galeen doofaarrada, daaqsintiina jarka hoos bay uga yacday ilaa badda, baddayna ku bakhtiyeen, waxayna ahaayeen abbaaraha laba kun.

Then Jesus let them do what they wanted to do. So they went into the pigs. The pigs ran fast down the side of the mountain and into the sea and died. There were about 2, 000.

14 M arkaasaa kuwii daajin jiray carareen, oo dadkii magaalada iyo beerahaba ayay u warrameen. Kolkaasaa dadkii u soo baxay inay arkaan wixii dhacay.

The men who cared for the pigs ran fast to the town and out to the country telling what had been done. People came to see what had happened.

15 M arkaasay u yimaadeen Ciise, oo waxay arkeen jinnoolihii isagoo fadhiya oo dhar sita oo miyir qaba, wayna baqeen.

They came to Jesus and saw the man who had had the demons. He was sitting with clothes on and in his right mind. The men were afraid.

16 K olkaasaa kuwii arkay waxay u sheegeen sidii ay u dhacday jinnoolihii iyo warkii doofaarrada.

Those who had seen it told what had happened to the man who had had the demons. They told what had happened to the pigs.

17 M arkaasay bilaabeen inay baryaan inuu soohdintooda ka noqdo.

Then they asked Jesus to leave their country.

18 I ntuu doonnida fuulayay, kii jinniyada qabi jiray ayaa baryay inuu raaco.

Jesus got into the boat. The man who had had the demons asked to go with Him.

19 C iisese uma fasaxin, laakiin wuxuu ku yidhi, Gurigaaga iyo dadkaaga u tag oo u sheeg waxa weyn oo Rabbigu kuu sameeyey iyo siduu kuugu naxariistay.

Jesus would not let him go but said to him, “Go home to your own people. Tell them what great things the Lord has done for you. Tell them how He had pity on you.”

20 K olkaasuu tegey oo bilaabay inuu Dekabolis ku naadiyo waxa weyn oo Ciise u sameeyey, oo dhammaan bay la wada yaabeen. Yayros Gabadhiisii Iyo Naagtii Dhiigbixidda Qabtay

The man went his way and told everyone in the land of Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him. All the people were surprised and wondered. Two Were Healed through Faith

21 M arkii Ciise haddana dhanka kale doonnida ugu gudbay ayaa dad faro badan u soo ururay, isaguna badda agteeda ayuu joogay.

Then Jesus went by boat over to the other side of the sea. Many people gathered around Him. He stayed by the sea-shore.

22 W axaa u yimid taliyayaasha sunagogga midkood ee Yayros la odhan jiray, oo markuu arkay, cagihiisa ayuu isku riday,

Jairus was one of the leaders of the Jewish place of worship. As Jairus came to Jesus, he got down at His feet.

23 o o aad buu u baryay oo ku yidhi, Gabadhaydii yarayd waa sakaraad. Waan ku baryayaa, kaalay oo gacmahaaga saar inay bogsato oo noolaato.

He cried out to Jesus and said, “My little daughter is almost dead. Come and put Your hand on her that she may be healed and live.”

24 M arkaasaa Ciise raacay, dad faro badanna waa la socday, wayna cidhiidhiyeen.

Jesus went with him. Many people followed and pushed around Jesus.

25 W axaa jirtay naag laba iyo toban sannadood dhiigbixid qabtay.

A woman had been sick for twelve years with a flow of blood.

26 S ilec badanna ayay dhakhtarro badan ka heshay, oo wixii ay lahayd oo dhanna ayay ku bixisay, mana roonaanin laakiinse way ka sii dartay.

She had suffered much because of having many doctors. She had spent all the money she had. She had received no help, but became worse.

27 M arkay Ciise warkiisa maqashay ayay dadkii soo dhex martay oo dhabarkiisa timid, markaasay maradiisa taabatay.

She heard about Jesus and went among the people who were following Him. She touched His coat.

28 W aayo, waxay tidhi, Haddaan dharkiisa iska taabto uun, waan bogsanayaa.

For she said to herself, “If I can only touch His coat, I will be healed.”

29 K olkiiba bixiddii dhiiggeeda ayaa joogsatay oo waxay jidhkeedii ka garatay inay cudurkii ka bogsatay.

At once the flow of blood stopped. She felt in her body that she was healed of her sickness.

30 C iise kolkiiba wuxuu iska gartay in xoog ka baxay isagii, oo intuu cidhiidhiga ku soo jeestay ayuu yidhi, Yaa dharkayga taabtay?

At the same time Jesus knew that power had gone from Him. He turned and said to the people following Him, “Who touched My coat?”

31 X ertiisii ayaa ku tidhi, Adigu waad aragtaa dadka badan oo ku cidhiidhinaya. Ma waxaad na leedahay, Yaa i taabtay?

His followers said to Him, “You see the many people pushing on every side. Why do You ask, ‘Who touched My coat?’”

32 K olkaasuu hareerihiisii ka fiirfiiriyey inuu arko tan waxan samaysay.

He looked around to see who had done it.

33 N aagtiise waa baqday oo gariirtay iyadoo garanaysa wixii loogu sameeyey. Markaasay timid oo hortiisa ku dhacday oo runtii oo dhan u sheegtay.

The woman was filled with fear when she knew what had happened to her. She came and got down before Jesus and told Him the truth.

34 K olkaasuu wuxuu iyada ku yidhi, Gabadhay, rumaysadkaaga ayaa ku bogsiiyey. Nabad ku tag, cudurkaagiina ka bogso.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be free from your sickness.”

35 G oortuu weli hadlayay waxaa gurigii taliyaha sunagogga ka yimid kuwii yidhi, Gabadhaadii waa dhimatay. Maxaad Macallinka u sii dhibaysaa?

While Jesus spoke, men came from the house of the leader of the place of worship. They said, “Your daughter is dead. Why trouble the Teacher anymore?”

36 M ar alla markuu Ciise maqlay hadalka lagu hadlay, wuxuu taliyaha sunagogga ku yidhi, Ha baqin ee iska rumayso.

Jesus heard this. He said to the leader of the Jewish place of worship, “Do not be afraid, just believe.”

37 N innana uma oggolaanin inuu raaco, Butros, iyo Yacquub, iyo Yooxanaa oo ahaa Yacquub walaalkiis, maahee.

He allowed no one to go with Him but Peter and James and John, the brother of James.

38 K olkaasuu yimid gurigii taliyaha sunagogga, oo wuxuu arkay buuqa iyo kuwa ooyaya oo aad u barooranaya.

They came to the house where the leader of the place of worship lived. Jesus found many people making much noise and crying.

39 G oortuu galay wuxuu ku yidhi, Maxaad sidaas ugu buuqaysaan oo u ooyaysaan? Gabadhu ma dhiman, waase huruddaa.

He went in and asked them, “Why is there so much noise and crying? The girl is not dead. She is sleeping.”

40 I yaguse aad bay ugu qosleen, laakiin goortuu kulligood dibadda u saaray, wuxuu waday gabadhii aabbeheed iyo hooyadeed iyo kuwii isaga la jiray, wuxuuna galay meeshii gabadhu jiiftay.

They laughed at Jesus. But He sent them all out of the room. Then He took the girl’s father and mother and those who were with Him. They went into the room where the girl was.

41 K olkaasuu gabadhii gacanteeda qabtay oo ku yidhi, Talita qumi, taasoo micneheedu yahay, Gabadhay, waxaan ku leeyahay, Kac.

He took the girl by the hand and said, “Little girl, I say to you, get up!”

42 K olkiiba gabadhii waa kacday oo socotay; waxay jirtay laba iyo toban sannadood. Dadkuna aad bay ula wada yaabeen.

At once the girl got up and walked. She was twelve years old. They were very much surprised and wondered about it.

43 A ad buu ugu adkeeyey inaan ninna ogaan, wuxuuna u sheegay in cunto la siiyo iyada.

He spoke sharp words to them that they should not tell anyone. He told them to give her something to eat.
