1 M arkaasaa Xannaah tukatay oo waxay tidhi: Qalbigaygu Ilaah buu ku faraxsan yahay, Geeskaygana Rabbigu kor buu u qaaday. Afkayguna wuxuu u faanaa cadaawayaashayda, Maxaa yeelay, waxaan ku reyreeyaa badbaadintaada.

Then Hannah prayed and said, “My heart is happy in the Lord. My strength is honored in the Lord. My mouth speaks with strength against those who hate me, because I have joy in Your saving power.

2 M id quduus ahu sida Rabbiga ma jiro, Waayo, adiga mooyee mid kale ma jiro, Oo dhagax weyn oo Ilaahayaga la mid ahuna ma jiro.

There is no one holy like the Lord. For sure, there is no one other than You. There is no rock like our God.

3 H adal dambe oo saas u kibir badan ha ku hadlina; Afkiinna yaanu kibir ka soo bixin; Waayo, Rabbigu waa Ilaah wax walba yaqaan, Falimahana isagaa miisaama.

Speak no more in your pride. Do not let proud talk come out of your mouth. For the Lord is a God Who knows. Actions are weighed by Him.

4 R aggii xoogga badnaa qaansooyinkoodii waa jajaban yihiin, Oo kuwii kufkufayayna itaal bay guntan yihiin.

The bows of the powerful are broken. But the weak are dressed in strength.

5 K uwii dhergi jiray waxay naftooda u kiraysteen kibis aawadeed. Kuwii gaajaysnaana way gaajo baxeen, Oo madhashadiina waxay dhashay toddoba, Oo tii carruur badan lahaydna way taag gabtay.

Those who were full go out to work for bread. But those who were hungry are filled. She who could not give birth has given birth to seven. But she who has many children has become weak.

6 R abbigu wax buu dilaa, wuuna soo nooleeyaa; Qabriguu wax geliyaa, wuuna ka soo bixiyaa.

The Lord kills and brings to life. He brings down to the grave, and He raises up.

7 R abbigu isagaa wax masaakiin ka dhiga, isagaana taajir ka dhiga. Wuu hoosaysiiyaa, wuuna sarraysiiyaa haddana.

The Lord makes poor and makes rich. He brings low and He lifts up.

8 O o miskiinka ciidduu ka kiciyaa, Oo ka baahanna tuulmada digada ayuu kor uga qaadaa, Si uu amiirrada ula fadhiisiyo, Oo ay carshiga ammaanta u dhaxlaan; Waayo, tiirarka dhulka Rabbigaa leh, Oo dunidana iyaguu saaray.

He lifts the poor from the dust. He lifts those in need from the ashes. He makes them sit with rulers and receive a seat of honor. For what holds the earth belongs to the Lord. He has set the world in its place.

9 K uwiisa quduuska ah cagahooda isagaa dhawri doona, Laakiinse kuwa sharka leh waxaa lagu aamusiin doonaa gudcur dhexdiis; Waayo, ninna xoog kuma adkaan doono.

He watches over the steps of His good people. But the sinful ones will be made quiet in darkness. For a man will not win by strength.

10 K uwa Rabbiga la dirira waa la kala jejebin doonaa; Oo iyaga samaduu kaga soo onkodi doonaa, Rabbigu wuxuu xukumi doonaa darfaha dunida; Oo wuxuu xoog u yeeli doonaa boqorkiisa, Oo wuxuu sarraysiin doonaa geeska kiisa subkan.

Those who fight with the Lord will be broken to pieces. He will thunder in heaven against them. The Lord will decide about all people to the ends of the earth. He will give strength to His king. He will give power to His chosen one.”

11 M arkaasaa Elqaanaah wuxuu tegey Raamaah iyo xaggii gurigiisii. Oo wiilkiina wuxuu Rabbiga uga adeegi jiray wadaadkii Ceelii hortiisa. Wiilashii Sharka Lahaa Ee Ceelii

Elkanah went home to Ramah. But the boy served the Lord with Eli the religious leader. Eli’s Sons

12 H addaba Ceelii wiilashiisii waxay ahaayeen wiilal waxmatarayaal ah, oo Rabbiga ma ay aqoon.

The sons of Eli were men of no worth. They did not know the Lord.

13 H addaba caadadii wadaaddadu dadka la lahaayeen waxay ahayd, in markii nin uun allabari bixiyo uu midiidinka wadaadku iman jiray, inta hilibka la karinayo, isagoo gacanta ku sita hilibqabato saddex farood leh,

This is the way the religious leaders acted toward the people. When any man brought an animal to give to the Lord, the religious leader’s servant would come with a meat-hook in his hand, while the meat was hot.

14 o o wuxuu ku dhex mudi jiray daawihii, ama kidhligii, ama digsigii, ama dherigii, oo kulli wixii qabatadu ay soo qaaddoba wadaadku wuu qaadan jiray. Oo saasay reer binu Israa'iilkii Shiiloh yimid oo dhan ku sameeyeen.

Then he would put it in the pot. The religious leader would take for himself all that the meat-hook brought up. They did this to all the Israelites who came there to Shiloh.

15 O o weliba intaan baruurta la gubin ayaa midiidinkii wadaadku iman jiray, oo wuxuu ku odhan jiray ninkii alla baryayay, Hilib wadaadka loo dubo keen, waayo, isagu kaa dooni maayo hilib karsan, mid ceedhin ah mooyaane.

And before they burned the fat, the religious leader’s servant would come and say to the man who brought the gift in worship, “Give meat for the religious leader to make ready. For he will not take boiled meat from you, but only meat that has just been killed.”

16 O o haddii ninku ku yidhaahdo, Marka hore baruurta hubaal waa la gubayaa, dabadeedse intii naftaadu jeceshahay qaado; markaas wuxuu ku odhan jiray, Maya, saas ma aha, laakiinse haatan i sii, haddii kalese, xoog baan ku qaadan doonaa.

But if the man says to him, “Let them burn the fat first, then take as much as you want,” then the religious leader’s servant would say, “No, give it to me now; and if not, I will take it from you against your will.”

17 O o raggii dhallinyarada ahaa dembigoodii aad buu ugu weynaa Rabbiga hortiisa; waayo, raggii waxay quudhsan jireen qurbaankii Rabbiga.

So the sin of the young men was very bad before the Lord. For the men hated the gift of the Lord. Samuel Serves the Lord at Shiloh

18 L aakiinse Samuu'eel wuxuu ka adeegi jiray Rabbiga hortiisa, isagoo wiil yar ah, ee guntan eefod dhar wanaagsan laga sameeyey.

Now Samuel was serving the Lord, even as a boy, wearing a linen vest.

19 O o weliba hooyadiisna waxay u samayn jirtay khamiis yar, oo sannad ka sannad ayay u keeni jirtay, markay ninkeeda soo raacdo inay bixiyaan allabarigii sannadda.

Each year his mother would make him a little coat. She would bring it to him when she came with her husband to bring the gift in worship each year.

20 O o Ceeliina waa u duceeyey Elqaanaah iyo afadiisiiba, oo wuxuu ku yidhi, Daynkii Rabbiga la siiyey aawadiis Rabbigu naagtan farcan ha kaa siiyo. Oo iyana waxay tageen xaggii gurigoodii.

Then Eli would pray that good would come to Elkanah and his wife, saying, “May the Lord give you children from this woman in place of the one she gave to the Lord.” Then they would return to their home.

21 O o Rabbigu waa soo booqday Xannaah, oo way uuraysatay, oo waxay dhashay saddex wiil iyo laba gabdhood. Oo yarkii Samuu'eel ahaana wuxuu ku koray Rabbiga hortiisa.

And the Lord visited Hannah. She gave birth to three sons and two daughters. The boy Samuel grew up to serve the Lord. The Future of Eli’s Sons

22 O o Ceeliina aad buu u gaboobay; oo wuxuuna maqlay wixii ay wiilashiisu reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan ku sameeyeen, iyo inay la seexdeen dumarkii ka adeegi jiray iridda teendhada shirka.

Now Eli was very old. He heard all that his sons were doing to all Israel, and how they lay with the women who served at the door of the meeting tent.

23 M arkaasuu wuxuu ku yidhi iyagii, War maxaad waxyaalaha caynkaas ah u samaysaan? Waayo, waxaan dadkan oo dhan ka maqlay macaamilooyinkiinna xunxun.

And he said to them, “Why do you do such things, the sinful things I hear from all these people?

24 M aya, wiilashaydiiyow, waayo, warkaan maqlay ma wanaagsana, maxaa yeelay, idinku dadka Rabbiga waad xadgudbisaan.

No, my sons, the news is not good which I hear from the Lord’s people.

25 H addii nin mid kale ku dembaabo, Ilaah baa isaga xukumi doona, laakiinse nin hadduu Rabbiga ku dembaabo, bal yaa isaga u baryootami doona? Laakiinse iyagu ma ay dhegaysan codkii aabbahood, maxaa yeelay, Rabbigu wuxuu doonayay inuu dilo iyaga.

If one man sins against another, God will help make peace for him. But if a man sins against the Lord, who can make peace for him?” Yet they would not listen to what their father said, for it was the Lord’s will to kill them.

26 O o yarkii Samuu'eel ahaana wuu sii koray, oo Rabbiga iyo dadkuba raalli bay ka ahaayeen. Wax Sii Sheegid Ka Gees Ah Reer Ceelii

Now the boy Samuel grew and was in favor both with the Lord and with men.

27 M arkaasaa Ceelii waxaa u yimid nin Ilaah, oo wuxuu ku yidhi isagii, Sidanaa Rabbigu leeyahay, Reerkii aabbahaa miyaan isu muujiyey markay Masar joogeen oo ay ku hoos jireen addoonsigii reerkii Fircoon?

Then a man of God came to Eli and said to him, “This is what the Lord says. ‘Did I not let Myself be known to those of your father’s family when they were in Egypt being made to work for Pharaoh’s house?

28 O o miyaan isaga ka doortay qabiilooyinka reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan inuu wadaad ii noqdo, iyo inuu ku allabaryo meeshayda allabariga, iyo inuu uunsi shido, iyo inuu hortayda eefod ku xidho? Oo miyaan reerkii aabbahaa siiyey qurbaannadii reer binu Israa'iil oo dhan ee dab lagu sameeyo?

Did I not choose them from all the families of Israel to be My religious leaders, to go up to My altar, to burn special perfume, and to wear a linen vest before Me? Did I not give all the gifts made by fire of the people of Israel to the family of your father?

29 W ar maxaad u quudhsataan allabarigayga iyo qurbaankayga aan ku dhex amray rugtayda; oo maxaad wiilashaada iiga murwad badisaa, ee aad naftiinna ugu cayilisaan dadkayga reer binu Israa'iil qurbaannadooda oo dhan inta ugu wanaagsan?

Why do you show no respect to My gifts which I have asked for, and honor your sons more than Me? You make yourselves fat with the best part of every gift given in worship by My people Israel.’

30 S idaas daraaddeed Rabbiga ah Ilaaha reer binu Israa'iil wuxuu leeyahay, Anigu waxaan idhi, Hubaal reerkaaga iyo reerka aabbahaaba hortayday ku socon doonaan weligood. Laakiinse haatan Rabbigu wuxuu leeyahay, Taasu ha iga fogaato, waayo, kuwa i murweeya waan murwayn doonaa, oo kuwa i quudhsadana waa la fududaysan doonaa.

So the Lord God of Israel says, ‘I did promise that those of your family and the family of your father should walk before Me forever.’ But now the Lord says, ‘May this be far from Me. For I will honor those who honor Me. And those who hate Me will not be honored.

31 B al eeg, waxaa iman doona wakhtigii aan gooyn lahaa gacantaada iyo gacanta reerka aabbahaaba si aan reerkaaga nin da' weyn looga helin.

See, the days are coming when I will break your strength and the strength of your father’s family. So there will not be an old man in your family.

32 O o waxaad arki doontaa dhibaatada rugtayda markii Ilaah reer binu Israa'iil maal siiyo, oo reerkaaguna nin da' weyn ma yeelan doono weligiisba.

You will see the trouble of My family, even in all the good I do for Israel. And an old man will not be in your family forever.

33 O o haddii la helo nin kaa ah ee aanan meeshayda allabariga ka gooyn, kaasu indhahaaguu gubi doonaa oo qalbigaaguu murugayn doonaa, oo dadkii reerkaaga ka dhashaana dhallinyaronimada ayay ku dhiman doonaan dhammaantood.

But I will not destroy every man of yours from My altar. Some will be left to cry and be filled with sorrow. But all the children of your family will die in their best years.

34 O o tanu waxay kuu ahaan doontaa calaamo, waana waxa ku dhici doona labadaada wiil ee ah Hofnii iyo Fiinexaas, oo labadooduba isku maalin bay dhiman doonaan.

This will be the special thing that you will see. Your two sons, Hophni and Phinehas, will both die on the same day.

35 O o anigu waxaan kicin doonaa wadaad aamin ah kaasoo samayn doona waxa ku jira qalbigayga iyo maankayga; oo anna waxaan isaga u dhisi doonaa reer ammaan ah, oo isna weligiis wuxuu ku hor socon doonaa kayga subkan.

I will raise up for Myself a faithful religious leader who will act by what is in My heart and mind. I will build him a family to last. And he will walk before My chosen one forever.

36 O o waxaa dhici doona in kuwa reerkaaga ka hadha oo dhammu ay u iman doonaan oo ku hor dhici doonaan isaga, iyagoo ka tuugaya gogo' lacag ah iyo xabbad kibis ah, oo waxay ku odhan doonaan, Waan ku baryayaaye, hawsha wadaaddada middood i sii si aan u cuno xabbad kibis ah.

Everyone who is left in your family will come and bow down to him for a piece of silver or a loaf of bread, and say, “I beg you, put me in one of the religious leader’s places so that I may eat a piece of bread.”’”
