1 É Deus quem preside à assembléia divina; no meio dos deuses, ele é o juiz.

¶ God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the gods.

2 “ Até quando vocês vão absolver os culpados e favorecer os ímpios?Pausa

How long will ye judge unjustly and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.

3 " Garantam justiça para os fracos e para os órfãos; mantenham os direitos dos necessitados e dos oprimidos.

Do right concerning the poor and fatherless; do justice to the poor and destitute.

4 L ivrem os fracos e os pobres; libertem-nos das mãos dos ímpios.

Deliver the poor and destitute; deliver them out of the hand of the wicked.

5 " Eles nada sabem, nada entendem. Vagueiam pelas trevas; todos os fundamentos da terra estão abalados.

They do not know, neither do they understand; they walk in darkness; they move all the foundations of the earth.

6 " Eu disse: Vocês são deuses, todos vocês são filhos do Altíssimo.

¶ I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are sons of the most High.

7 M as vocês morrerão como simples homens; cairão como qualquer outro governante.”

But ye shall die like men and fall like one of the tyrants.

8 L evanta-te, ó Deus, julga a terra, pois todas as nações te pertencem

Arise, O God, judge the earth, for thou shalt inherit all the Gentiles.
