1 D o not trouble yourself because of sinful men. Do not want to be like those who do wrong.

No te impacientes a causa de los malignos ni tengas envidia de los malhechores,

2 F or they will soon dry up like the grass. Like the green plant they will soon die.

porque como la hierba serán pronto cortados y como la hierba verde se secarán.

3 T rust in the Lord, and do good. So you will live in the land and will be fed.

Confía en Jehová y haz el bien; habitarás en la tierra y te apacentarás de la verdad.

4 B e happy in the Lord. And He will give you the desires of your heart.

Deléitate asimismo en Jehová y él te concederá las peticiones de tu corazón.

5 G ive your way over to the Lord. Trust in Him also. And He will do it.

Encomienda a Jehová tu camino, confía en él y él hará.

6 H e will make your being right and good show as the light, and your wise actions as the noon day.

Exhibirá tu justicia como la luz y tu derecho como el mediodía.

7 R est in the Lord and be willing to wait for Him. Do not trouble yourself when all goes well with the one who carries out his sinful plans.

Guarda silencio ante Jehová y espera en él. No te alteres con motivo del que prospera en su camino, por el hombre que hace lo malo.

8 S top being angry. Turn away from fighting. Do not trouble yourself. It leads only to wrong-doing.

Deja la ira y desecha el enojo; no te excites en manera alguna a hacer lo malo,

9 F or those who do wrong will be cut off. But those who wait for the Lord will be given the earth.

porque los malignos serán destruidos, pero los que esperan en Jehová heredarán la tierra,

10 A little while, and the sinful man will be no more. You will look for his place, and he will not be there.

pues dentro de poco no existirá el malo; observarás su lugar, y ya no estará allí.

11 B ut those who have no pride will be given the earth. And they will be happy and have much more than they need.

Pero los mansos heredarán la tierra y se recrearán con abundancia de paz.

12 T he sinful man plans against him who is right with God. And he grinds his teeth at him.

Maquina el impío contra el justo y rechina contra él sus dientes.

13 T he Lord laughs at him because He sees his day is coming.

El Señor se reirá de él, porque ve que viene su día.

14 T he sinful have taken up their sword and their bow, to bring down the poor and those in need, and to kill those whose ways are right.

Los impíos desenvainan espada y tensan su arco para derribar al pobre y al menesteroso, para matar a los de recto proceder.

15 T heir sword will cut into their own heart, and their bows will be broken.

Su espada entrará en su mismo corazón y su arco será quebrado.

16 T he few things that the man right with God has is better than the riches of many sinful men.

Mejor es lo poco del justo que las riquezas de muchos pecadores,

17 F or the arms of the sinful will be broken. But the Lord holds up those who are right with Him.

porque los brazos de los impíos serán quebrados; mas el que sostiene a los justos es Jehová.

18 T he Lord knows the days of those who are without blame. And what is theirs will last forever.

Conoce Jehová los días de los íntegros y la heredad de ellos será para siempre.

19 T hey will not be ashamed in the time of trouble. And in days when there is no food they will have enough.

No serán avergonzados en el tiempo de dificultad, y en los días de hambre serán saciados.

20 B ut the sinful will be lost forever. Those who hate the Lord will be like the beauty of the fields. They will be gone. Like smoke they will be gone.

Mas los impíos perecerán, los enemigos de Jehová serán consumidos; como la grasa de los carneros, se disiparán como el humo.

21 T he sinful ask for something, but do not return it. But those who are right with God are kind and give.

El impío toma prestado y no paga; pero el justo tiene misericordia y da.

22 F or those who are made happy by Him will be given the land. But those who are being punished by Him will be cut off.

Los benditos de él heredarán la tierra y los malditos de él serán destruidos.

23 T he steps of a good man are led by the Lord. And He is happy in his way.

Por Jehová son ordenados los pasos del hombre y él aprueba su camino.

24 W hen he falls, he will not be thrown down, because the Lord holds his hand.

Cuando el hombre caiga, no quedará postrado, porque Jehová sostiene su mano.

25 I have been young, and now I am old. Yet I have never seen the man who is right with God left alone, or his children begging for bread.

Joven fui y he envejecido, y no he visto justo desamparado ni a su descendencia que mendigue pan.

26 A ll day long he is kind and lets others use what he has. And his children make him happy.

En todo tiempo tiene misericordia y presta. Su descendencia es para bendición.

27 T urn from sin, and do good, so you will live forever.

Apártate del mal, haz el bien y vivirás para siempre,

28 F or the Lord loves what is fair and right. He does not leave the people alone who belong to Him. They are kept forever. But the children of the sinful will be cut off.

porque Jehová ama la rectitud y no desampara a sus santos. Para siempre serán guardados, mas la descendencia de los impíos será destruida.

29 T hose who are right with God will be given the land, and live on it forever.

Los justos heredarán la tierra y vivirán para siempre en ella.

30 T he mouth of the man who is right with God speaks wisdom. And his tongue speaks what is fair and right.

La boca del justo habla sabiduría y su lengua habla justicia.

31 T he Law of his God is in his heart. His steps do not leave it.

La Ley de su Dios está en su corazón; por tanto, sus pies no resbalarán.

32 T he sinful lie in wait for the man who is right with God, and want to kill him.

Espía el impío al justo y procura matarlo.

33 T he Lord will not leave him in his power. He will not let him be found guilty when he is judged.

Jehová no lo dejará en sus manos ni lo condenará cuando lo juzguen.

34 W ait for the Lord. Keep His way. And He will give you a high place to receive the land. When the sinful are cut off, you will see it.

Espera en Jehová, guarda su camino, y él te exaltará para heredar la tierra; cuando sean destruidos los pecadores, lo verás.

35 I have seen a very sinful man spreading himself like a green tree in its home land.

Vi yo al impío sumamente enaltecido y que se extendía como laurel verde.

36 T hen he passed away and was no more. I looked for him. But he could not be found.

Pero él pasó, y he aquí ya no estaba; lo busqué, y no lo hallé.

37 L ook at the man without blame. And watch the man who is right and good. For the man of peace will have much family to follow him.

Considera al íntegro y mira al justo, porque hay un final dichoso para el hombre de paz.

38 B ut all the sinners will be destroyed. The family of the sinful will be cut off.

Mas los transgresores serán todos a una destruidos; la posteridad de los impíos será extinguida.

39 B ut the saving of those who are right with God is from the Lord. He is their strength in time of trouble.

Pero la salvación de los justos es de Jehová y él es su fortaleza en el tiempo de angustia.

40 T he Lord helps them and takes them out of trouble. He takes them away from the sinful, and saves them, because they go to Him for a safe place.

Jehová los ayudará y los librará; los libertará de los impíos y los salvará, por cuanto en él esperaron.
