1 O Lord, how many are they who hate me! How many rise up against me!

3 B ut You, O Lord, are a covering around me, my shining-greatness, and the One Who lifts my head.

Mas tú, Jehová, eres escudo alrededor de mí; mi gloria, y el que levanta mi cabeza.

4 I was crying to the Lord with my voice. And He answered me from His holy mountain.

Con mi voz clamé a Jehová y él me respondió desde su monte santo. Selah

5 I lay down and slept, and I woke up again, for the Lord keeps me safe.

Yo me acosté y dormí, y desperté, porque Jehová me sustentaba.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who stand all around against me.

No temeré ni a una gran multitud que ponga sitio contra mí.

7 R ise up, O Lord! Save me, O my God! For You have hit on the face all those who hate me, and you have broken the teeth of the sinful.

¡Levántate, Jehová! ¡Sálvame, Dios mío! Tú heriste en la mejilla a todos mis enemigos; los dientes de los perversos rompiste.

8 I t is You Who saves, O Lord. May You bring happiness to Your people.
