1 ¶ Now these are the names of the tribes. From the side of the north by the way of Hethlon, as one goes to Hamath, Hazarenan, to the border of Damascus northward, to the coast of Hamath; Dan shall have a portion, his sides being to the east and to the west.

Voici les noms des tribus. Depuis l'extrémité septentrionale, le long du chemin de Hethlon à Hamath, Hatsar Énon, la frontière de Damas au nord vers Hamath, de l'orient à l'occident: Dan, une tribu.

2 A nd next to the border of Dan, from the east side unto the side of the sea, Asher shall have a portion.

3 A nd next to the border of Asher, from the east side unto the side of the sea, a portion for Naphtali.

Sur la limite d'Aser, de l'orient à l'occident: Nephthali, une tribu.

4 A nd next to the border of Naphtali, from the east side unto the side of the sea, a portion for Manasseh.

8 A nd next to the border of Judah, from the east side unto the side of the sea, shall be the lot which ye shall set apart of twenty-five thousand reeds in breadth, and in length as one of the other portions; that is, from the east side unto the side of the sea: and the sanctuary shall be in the midst of it.

Sur la frontière de Juda, de l'orient à l'occident, sera la portion que vous prélèverez, large de vingt-cinq mille cannes et longue comme l'une des parts de l'orient à l'occident; et le sanctuaire sera au milieu.

9 T he lot that ye shall separate unto the LORD shall be of twenty-five thousand in length, and of ten thousand in breadth.

La portion que vous prélèverez pour l'Éternel aura vingt-cinq mille cannes de longueur et dix mille de largeur.

10 A nd from there shall be the holy lot of the priests; toward the north twenty-five thousand reeds in length, and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south twenty-five thousand in length: and the sanctuary of the LORD shall be in the midst thereof.

C'est aux sacrificateurs qu'appartiendra cette portion sainte: vingt-cinq mille cannes au septentrion, dix mille en largeur à l'occident, dix mille en largeur à l'orient, et vingt-cinq mille en longueur au midi; et le sanctuaire de l'Éternel sera au milieu.

11 T he priests that are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, which have kept my charge, which did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.

Elle appartiendra aux sacrificateurs consacrés, aux fils de Tsadok, qui ont fait le service de mon sanctuaire, qui ne se sont point égarés, lorsque les enfants d'Israël s'égaraient, comme s'égaraient les Lévites.

12 T hey shall receive by lot, separated in the dividing of the land, the most holy part, next to the border of the Levites.

Elle leur appartiendra comme portion très sainte, prélevée sur la portion du pays qui aura été prélevée, à côté de la limite des Lévites.

13 A nd the portion of the Levites, shall be in front the border of the priests, of twenty-five thousand reeds in length, and of ten thousand in breadth; all the length shall be twenty-five thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.

Les Lévites auront, parallèlement à la limite des sacrificateurs, vingt-cinq mille cannes en longueur et dix mille en largeur, vingt-cinq mille pour toute la longueur et dix mille pour la largeur.

14 T hey shall not sell of it, neither exchange nor transpose the firstfruits of the land; for it is consecrated unto the LORD.

Ils n'en pourront rien vendre ni échanger; et les prémices du pays ne seront point aliénées, car elles sont consacrées à l'Éternel.

15 A nd the five thousand reeds, that are left in the breadth over against the twenty-five thousand, shall be profane, for the city, for dwelling, and for suburbs: and the city shall be in the midst thereof.

Les cinq mille cannes qui resteront en largeur sur les vingt-cinq mille seront destinées à la ville, pour les habitations et la banlieue; et la ville sera au milieu.

16 A nd these shall be the measures thereof: the north side four thousand five hundred reeds, and the south side four thousand five hundred, and on the east side four thousand five hundred, and the west side four thousand five hundred.

En voici les mesures: du côté septentrional quatre mille cinq cents, du côté méridional quatre mille cinq cents, du côté oriental quatre mille cinq cents, et du côté occidental quatre mille cinq cents.

17 A nd the suburbs of the city shall be toward the north two hundred and fifty reeds, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.

La ville aura une banlieue de deux cent cinquante au nord, de deux cent cinquante au midi, de deux cent cinquante à l'orient, et de deux cent

18 A nd the residue in length over against the lot of the holy portion shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward: which shall be what is left of the lot of the holy portion; it shall be for food unto those that serve the city.

Le reste sur la longueur, parallèlement à la portion sainte, dix mille à l'orient et dix mille à l'occident, parallèlement à la portion sainte, formera les revenus destinés à l'entretien de ceux qui travailleront pour la ville.

19 A nd those that serve the city shall be from all the tribes of Israel.

Le sol en sera cultivé par ceux de toutes les tribus d'Israël qui travailleront pour la ville.

20 A ll the lot of twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand square: ye shall separate by lot for the sanctuary and for the possession of the city.

Toute la portion prélevée sera de vingt-cinq mille cannes en longueur sur vingt-cinq mille en largeur; vous en séparerez un carré pour la propriété de la ville.

21 A nd the residue shall be for the prince, on the one side and on the other of the holy lot, and of the possession of the city, over against the twenty-five thousand reeds of the holy lot unto the east border, and westward over against the twenty-five thousand unto the west border, over against the said portions shall be of the prince; and it shall be a holy lot; and the sanctuary of the house shall be in the midst thereof.

Ce qui restera sera pour le prince, aux deux côtés de la portion sainte et de la propriété de la ville, le long des vingt-cinq mille cannes de la portion sainte jusqu'à la limite de l'orient, et à l'occident le long des vingt-cinq mille cannes vers la limite de l'occident, parallèlement aux parts. C'est là ce qui appartiendra au prince; et la portion sainte et le sanctuaire de la maison seront au milieu.

22 M oreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, in the midst shall be that which belongs to the prince, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, shall be the lot of the prince.

Ainsi ce qui appartiendra au prince sera l'espace compris depuis la propriété des Lévites et depuis la propriété de la ville; ce qui sera entre la limite de Juda et la limite de Benjamin appartiendra au prince.

23 A s for the rest of the tribes, from the east side unto the side of the sea, Benjamin shall have a portion.

Voici les autres tribus. De l'orient à l'occident: Benjamin, une tribu.

24 A nd next to the border of Benjamin, from the east side unto the side of the sea, Simeon shall have a portion.

Sur la limite de Benjamin, de l'orient à l'occident: Siméon, une tribu.

25 A nd next to the border of Simeon, from the east side unto the side of the sea, Issachar a portion.

26 A nd next to the border of Issachar, from the east side unto the side of the sea, Zebulun a portion.

28 A nd next to the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be from Tamar unto the waters of strife, and from Kadesh, and the river unto the great sea.

29 T his is the land which ye shall divide by lot unto the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their portions, said the Lord GOD.

Tel est le pays que vous diviserez en héritages par le sort pour les tribus d'Israël et telles sont leurs parts, dit le Seigneur, l'Éternel.

30 A nd these are the goings out of the city on the north side, four thousand five hundred reeds by measure.

Voici les issues de la ville. Du côté septentrional quatre mille cinq cents cannes.

31 ¶ And the gates of the city shall be according to the names of the tribes of Israel: three gates northward; the gate of Reuben, one; the gate of Judah, another; the gate of Levi, another.

et les portes de la ville d'après les noms des tribus d'Israël, trois portes au nord: la porte de Ruben, une, la porte de Juda, une, la porte de Lévi, une.

32 A nd at the east side four thousand five hundred reeds: and three gates; the gate of Joseph, one; the gate of Benjamin, another; the gate of Dan, another.

Du côté oriental quatre mille cinq cents cannes, et trois portes: la porte de Joseph, une, la porte de Benjamin, une, la porte de Dan, une.

33 A nd at the south side four thousand five hundred reeds by measure: and three gates; the gate of Simeon, one; the gate of Issachar, another; the gate of Zebulun, another.

Du côté méridional quatre mille cinq cents cannes, et trois portes: la porte de Siméon, une, la porte d'Issacar, une, la porte de Zabulon, une.

34 A t the west side four thousand five hundred reeds, and their three gates; the gate of Gad, one; the gate of Asher, another; the gate of Naphtali, another.

Du côté occidental quatre mille cinq cents cannes, et trois portes: la porte de Gad, une, la porte d'Aser, une, la porte de Nephthali, une.

35 I t was round about eighteen thousand reeds: and the name of the city from that day shall be, THE LORD IS HERE.

Circuit: dix-huit mille cannes. Et, dès ce jour, le nom de la ville sera: l'Éternel est ici.
