1 M y voice is unto God, and I will cry; my voice is unto God, and he will give ear unto me.

5 I consider the days of old, the years of ancient times.

6 I remember my song in the night; I muse in mine own heart, and my spirit maketh diligent search.

Me acordaba de mis canciones de noche; meditaba con mi corazón, y mi espíritu inquiría.

7 W ill the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

¿Desechará el Señor para siempre, y no volverá más a amar?

8 H ath his loving-kindness ceased for ever? hath word come to an end from generation to generation?

¿Se ha acabado para siempre su misericordia? ¿Se ha acabado la palabra suya para generación y generación?

9 H ath God forgotten to be gracious? or hath he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

¿Ha olvidado Dios el tener misericordia? ¿Ha encerrado con ira sus misericordias? (Selah.)

10 T hen said I, This is my weakness:—the years of the right hand of the Most High

Y dije: Enfermedad mía es ésta; me acordaré de los años de la diestra del Altísimo,

11 W ill I remember,—the works of Jah; for I will remember thy wonders of old,

¶ me acordaba de las obras de JAH; por tanto me acordé de tus maravillas antiguas.

12 A nd I will meditate upon all thy work, and muse upon thy doings.

Y meditaba en todas tus obras, y hablaba de tus hechos.

13 O God, thy way is in the sanctuary: who is so great a god as God?

Oh Dios, en santidad es tu camino: ¿Qué Dios grande como el Dios nuestro ?

14 T hou art the God that doest wonders; thou hast declared thy strength among the peoples.

Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas; tú hiciste notoria en los pueblos tu fortaleza.

15 T hou hast with arm redeemed thy people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

Con tu brazo redimiste a tu pueblo, a los hijos de Jacob y de José. (Selah.)

16 T he waters saw thee, O God, the waters saw thee; they trembled, yea, the depths were troubled:

Te vieron las aguas, oh Dios; te vieron las aguas, temieron; y temblaron los abismos.

17 T he thick clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound, yea, thine arrows went abroad:

18 T he voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind, lightnings lit up the world; the earth was troubled and it quaked.

Anduvo en derredor el sonido de tus truenos; los relámpagos alumbraron el mundo; la tierra se estremeció y tembló.

19 T hy way is in the sea, and thy paths are in the great waters; and thy footsteps are not known.

En el mar fue tu camino, y tus sendas en las muchas aguas; y tus pisadas no fueron conocidas.

20 T hou leddest thy people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

Condujiste a tu pueblo como ovejas, por mano de Moisés y de Aarón.
