1 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¶ Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo:

2 C ommand the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that hath an issue, and whosoever is defiled by a dead person:

Manda a los hijos de Israel que echen del campamento a todo leproso, y a todos los que padecen de flujo, y a todo contaminado sobre muerto.

3 b oth male and female shall ye put out; outside the camp shall ye put them, that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.

Así hombres como mujeres echaréis, fuera del campamento los echaréis; para que no contaminen el campamento de aquellos entre los cuales yo habito.

4 A nd the children of Israel did so, and put them outside the camp: as Jehovah had said to Moses, so did the children of Israel.

Y lo hicieron así los hijos de Israel, los echaron fuera del campamento; como el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés, así lo hicieron los hijos de Israel.

5 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

Además habló el SEÑOR a Moisés, diciendo:

6 S peak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any of all the sins of man to work unfaithfulness against Jehovah, and that soul is guilty,

Habla a los hijos de Israel: El hombre o la mujer que cometiere alguno de todos los pecados de los hombres, haciendo prevaricación contra el SEÑOR; aquella persona es culpable;

7 t hen they shall confess their sin which they have done; and he shall recompense his trespass according to the principal thereof, and shall add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed.

confesarán su pecado que cometieron, y restituirán su culpa enteramente, y añadirán sobre ello la quinta parte, y lo darán a aquel contra quien es culpable.

8 A nd if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, the trespass which is recompensed to Jehovah shall be the priest's, besides the ram of the atonement, wherewith an atonement is made for him.

Y si aquel varón no tuviere redentor al cual el delito sea restituido, el delito se restituirá al SEÑOR, al sacerdote, a más del carnero de las reconciliaciones, con el cual se hará reconciliación.

9 A nd every heave-offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they present unto the priest, shall be his.

Y toda ofrenda de todas las cosas santas que los hijos de Israel presentaren al sacerdote, suya será.

10 A nd every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatever any man giveth the priest shall be his.

Y lo santificado de cualquiera será suyo; asimismo lo que cualquiera diere al sacerdote, suyo será.

11 A nd Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying,

¶ Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo:

12 S peak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go astray, and commit unfaithfulness against him,

Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando la mujer de alguno errare, e hiciere traición contra él,

13 a nd a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and she be defiled in secret, and there be no witness against her, and she have not been caught;

que alguno se hubiere echado con ella por ayuntamiento de simiente, y su marido no lo hubiera visto por haberse ella contaminado ocultamente, ni hubiere testigo contra ella, ni ella hubiere sido cogida en el acto;

14 a nd the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have been defiled,—or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she have not been defiled,

si viniere sobre él espíritu de celo, y tuviere celos de su mujer, habiéndose ella contaminado; o viniere sobre él espíritu de celo, y tuviere celos de su mujer, no habiéndose ella contaminado;

15 — then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, a tenth part of an ephah of barley-meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an oblation of jealousy, a memorial oblation, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

entonces el marido traerá su mujer al sacerdote, y traerá su ofrenda con ella, la décima de un efa de harina de cebada; no echará sobre ella aceite, ni pondrá sobre ella incienso, porque es presente de celos, presente de recordación, que trae en memoria iniquidad.

16 A nd the priest shall bring her near, and set her before Jehovah.

Y el sacerdote la hará acercar, y la hará poner delante del SEÑOR.

17 A nd the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and the priest shall take of the dust that is on the floor of the tabernacle, and put it into the water.

Luego tomará el sacerdote del agua santa en un vaso de barro; tomará también el sacerdote del polvo que hubiere en el suelo del tabernáculo, y lo echará en el agua.

18 A nd the priest shall set the woman before Jehovah, and uncover the woman's head, and put the memorial oblation in her hands, which is the jealousy offering; and in the hand of the priest shall be the bitter water that bringeth the curse.

Y hará el sacerdote estar en pie a la mujer delante del SEÑOR, y descubrirá la cabeza de la mujer, y pondrá sobre sus manos el presente de la recordación, que es el presente de celos; y el sacerdote tendrá en la mano las aguas amargas que acarrean maldición.

19 A nd the priest shall adjure her, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with thee, and if thou hast not gone astray in uncleanness, in being with another instead of thy husband, be free from this bitter water that bringeth the curse.

Y el sacerdote la conjurará, y dirá a la mujer: Si ninguno hubiere dormido contigo, y si no te has apartado de tu marido a inmundicia, limpia seas de estas aguas amargas que traen maldición.

20 B ut if thou hast gone astray to another instead of thy husband, and hast been defiled, and a man other than thy husband have lain with thee,

Mas si te has apartado de tu marido, y te has contaminado, y alguno hubiere puesto en ti su simiente, fuera de tu marido;

21 — then the priest shall adjure the woman with the oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman: Jehovah make thee a curse and an oath among thy people, when Jehovah doth make thy thigh to shrink, and thy belly to swell;

(el sacerdote conjurará a la mujer con juramento de maldición, y dirá a la mujer): el SEÑOR te dé en maldición y en conjuración en medio de tu pueblo, haciendo el SEÑOR a tu muslo que falle, y a tu vientre que se te hinche;

22 a nd this water that bringeth the curse shall enter into thy bowels, to make the belly to swell, and the thigh to shrink. And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.

y estas aguas que dan maldición entren en tus entrañas, y hagan henchir tu vientre, y fallar tu muslo. Y la mujer dirá: Amén, amén.

23 A nd the priest shall write these curses in a book, and shall blot them out with the bitter water,

Y el sacerdote escribirá estas maldiciones en un libro, y las borrará con las aguas amargas;

24 a nd he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that bringeth the curse, that the water that bringeth the curse may enter into her for bitterness.

y dará a beber a la mujer las aguas amargas que traen maldición; y las aguas que obran maldición entrarán en ella por amargas.

25 A nd the priest shall take out of the woman's hand the oblation of jealousy, and shall wave the oblation before Jehovah, and shall present it at the altar.

Después tomará el sacerdote de la mano de la mujer el presente de los celos, y mecerá la ofrenda delante del SEÑOR, y lo ofrecerá delante del altar.

26 A nd the priest shall take a handful of the oblation as a memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar; and afterwards he shall make the woman drink the water.

Y tomará el sacerdote un puñado del presente, en memoria de ella, y hará perfume de ello sobre el altar, y después dará a beber las aguas a la mujer.

27 A nd when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, if she have been defiled, and have committed unfaithfulness against her husband, that the water that bringeth the curse shall enter into her, for bitterness, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall shrink; and the woman shall become a curse among her people.

Le dará, pues, a beber las aguas; y será, que si fuere inmunda y hubiere hecho traición contra su marido, las aguas que obran maldición entrarán en ella en amargura, y su vientre se hinchará, y fallará su muslo; y la tal mujer será por maldición en medio de su pueblo.

28 B ut if the woman have not been defiled, and be clean, then she shall be clear, and shall conceive seed.

Mas si la mujer no fuere inmunda, sino que estuviere limpia, ella será libre, y será fecunda.

29 T his is the law of jealousies, when a wife goeth astray to another instead of her husband and is defiled,

Esta es la ley de los celos, cuando la mujer errare estando en poder de su marido, y se contaminare;

30 o r when the spirit of jealousy cometh upon a man, and he is jealous as regards his wife; then shall he set the woman before Jehovah, and the priest shall do to her according to all this law.

o del marido, sobre el cual pasare espíritu de celo, y tuviere celos de su mujer; la presentará entonces delante del SEÑOR, y el sacerdote ejecutará en ella toda esta ley.

31 T hen shall the man be free from iniquity, but that woman shall bear her iniquity.

Y aquel varón será libre de iniquidad, y la mujer llevará su iniquidad.
