10 C anst thou bind the buffalo with his cord in the furrow? or will he harrow the valleys after thee?

¿Atarás tú al unicornio con su coyunda para el surco? ¿Labrará los valles en pos de ti?

11 W ilt thou put confidence in him, because his strength is great? and wilt thou leave thy labour to him?

¿Por ventura confiarás tú en él, por ser grande su fortaleza, y le fiarás tu labor?

12 W ilt thou trust him to bring home thy seed, and gather it into thy threshing-floor?

¿Fiarás de él que te tornará tu simiente, y que la allegará en tu era?

13 T he wing of the ostrich beats joyously—But is it the stork's pinion and plumage?

Se endurece para con sus hijos, como si no fueran suyos, no temiendo que su trabajo haya sido en vano;

17 F or +God hath deprived her of wisdom, and hath not furnished her with understanding.

porque Dios lo hizo olvidar de sabiduría, y no le dio entendimiento.

18 W hat time she lasheth herself on high, she scorneth the horse and his rider.

A su tiempo se levanta en alto, y se burla del caballo y del que se monta en él.

19 H ast thou given strength to the horse? hast thou clothed his neck with the quivering mane?

¿Diste tú al caballo la fortaleza? ¿Vestiste tú su cerviz de relincho?

20 D ost thou make him to leap as a locust? His majestic snorting is terrible.

¿Por ventura le harás tú saltar como a alguna langosta? El resoplido de su nariz es formidable;

21 H e paweth in the valley, and rejoiceth in strength; he goeth forth to meet the armed host.

escarba la tierra, se alegra en su fuerza, sale al encuentro de las armas;

22 H e laugheth at fear, and is not affrighted; neither turneth he back from before the sword.

hace burla del espanto, y no teme, ni vuelve el rostro delante de la espada.

23 T he quiver rattleth upon him, the glittering spear and the javelin.
