1 A nd Jesus answered and spoke to them again by parables and said:

И Исус пак започна да им говори с притчи, като казваше:

2 “ The kingdom of heaven is like a certain king who arranged a marriage for his son,

Небесното царство прилича на цар, който направи сватба на сина си.

3 a nd sent out his servants to call those who were invited to the wedding; and they were not willing to come.

Той разпрати слугите си да повикат поканените на сватбата; но те не искаха да дойдат.

4 A gain, he sent out other servants, saying, ‘Tell those who are invited, “See, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and fatted cattle are killed, and all things are ready. Come to the wedding.”’

Пак изпрати други слуги, като им каза: Кажете на поканените: Ето, приготвих обяда си; телетата ми и угоените животни са заклани и всичко е готово; елате на сватба.

5 B ut they made light of it and went their ways, one to his own farm, another to his business.

Но те пренебрегнаха поканата и си отидоха, всеки по своя път: един на своята нива, а друг на търговията си;

6 A nd the rest seized his servants, treated them spitefully, and killed them.

а останалите хванаха слугите му и безсрамно ги оскърбиха и убиха.

7 B ut when the king heard about it, he was furious. And he sent out his armies, destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

И царят се разгневи, изпрати войските си и погуби онези убийци, и изгори града им.

8 T hen he said to his servants, ‘The wedding is ready, but those who were invited were not worthy.

Тогава каза на слугите си: Сватбата е готова, но поканените не бяха достойни.

9 T herefore go into the highways, and as many as you find, invite to the wedding.’

Затова идете по кръстопътищата и колкото хора намерите, поканете ги на сватба.

10 S o those servants went out into the highways and gathered together all whom they found, both bad and good. And the wedding hall was filled with guests.

И така, онези слуги излязоха по пътищата, събраха всички, които намериха - зли и добри; и сватбата се напълни с гости.

11 “ But when the king came in to see the guests, he saw a man there who did not have on a wedding garment.

А царят, като влезе да прегледа гостите, видя там един човек, който не беше облечен в сватбарска дреха.

12 S o he said to him, ‘Friend, how did you come in here without a wedding garment?’ And he was speechless.

И му каза: Приятелю, ти как си влязъл тук, без да имаш сватбарска дреха? А той мълчеше.

13 T hen the king said to the servants, ‘Bind him hand and foot, take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.’

Тогава царят каза на служителите: Вържете му краката и ръцете и го хвърлете в тъмнината отвън; там ще бъде плач и скърцане със зъби.

14 “ For many are called, but few are chosen.” The Pharisees: Is It Lawful to Pay Taxes to Caesar?

Защото мнозина са поканени, а малцина са избрани. За плащането на данъка

15 T hen the Pharisees went and plotted how they might entangle Him in His talk.

Тогава фарисеите отидоха и се съветваха как да Го уловят в казаното от Него.

16 A nd they sent to Him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, “Teacher, we know that You are true, and teach the way of God in truth; nor do You care about anyone, for You do not regard the person of men.

И пратиха при Него учениците си, заедно с иродианите, да кажат: Учителю, знаем, че си искрен, учиш в истина Божия път и не Те е грижа от никого, защото не гледаш на лицето на човеците.

17 T ell us, therefore, what do You think? Is it lawful to pay taxes to Caesar, or not?”

Затова, кажи ни: Ти как мислиш? Правилно ли е да даваме данък на Цезаря или не?

18 B ut Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, “Why do you test Me, you hypocrites?

А Исус разбра лукавщината им и каза: Защо Ме изпитвате, лицемери?

19 S how Me the tax money.” So they brought Him a denarius.

Покажете ми данъчната монета. И те Му донесоха един пеняз.

20 A nd He said to them, “Whose image and inscription is this?”

Той ги попита: Чий е този образ и надпис?

21 T hey said to Him, “Caesar’s.” And He said to them, “Render therefore to Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and to God the things that are God’s.”

Казаха Му: На Цезаря. Тогава им каза: Като е така, отдавайте цезаревото на Цезаря, а Божието на Бога.

22 W hen they had heard these words, they marveled, and left Him and went their way. The Sadducees: What About the Resurrection?

И като чуха това, те се учудиха и като Го оставиха, си отидоха. За възкресението на мъртвите

23 T he same day the Sadducees, who say there is no resurrection, came to Him and asked Him,

В същия ден дойдоха при Него садукеи, които казват, че няма възкресение, и Го попитаха:

24 s aying: “Teacher, Moses said that if a man dies, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife and raise up offspring for his brother.

Учителю, Моисей е казал: Ако някой умре бездетен, брат му да се ожени за жена му и да създаде потомство на брат си.

25 N ow there were with us seven brothers. The first died after he had married, and having no offspring, left his wife to his brother.

А между нас имаше седем братя; и първият се ожени и умря; и като нямаше потомство, остави жена си на брат си;

26 L ikewise the second also, and the third, even to the seventh.

също и вторият, и третият до седмия.

27 L ast of all the woman died also.

А след всички тях умря и жената.

28 T herefore, in the resurrection, whose wife of the seven will she be? For they all had her.”

И така, при възкресението на кого от седмината ще бъде жена, защото те всички я имаха?

29 J esus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God.

А Исус им отговори: Заблуждавате се, като не знаете Писанията, нито Божията сила.

30 F or in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven.

Защото при възкресението нито се женят, нито се омъжват, но са като Божии ангели на небето.

31 B ut concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying,

А за възкресението на мъртвите не сте ли чели онова, което Бог ви говори:

32 ‘ I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.”

"Аз съм Бог Авраамов, Бог Исааков и Бог Яковов"? Той не е Бог на мъртвите, а на живите.

33 A nd when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at His teaching. The Scribes: Which Is the First Commandment of All?

И множеството, като чу това, се чудеше на учението Му. Най-голямата заповед

34 B ut when the Pharisees heard that He had silenced the Sadducees, they gathered together.

А фарисеите, като чуха, че затворил устата на садукеите, събраха се заедно.

35 T hen one of them, a lawyer, asked Him a question, testing Him, and saying,

И един от тях, законник, за да Го изпита, Му зададе въпроса:

36 “ Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”

Учителю, коя е най-голямата заповед в закона?

37 J esus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’

А Той му каза: "Да възлюбиш Господа, твоя Бог, с цялото си сърце, с цялата си душа и с всичкия си ум."

38 T his is the first and great commandment.

Това е най-голямата и първа заповед.

39 A nd the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

А втора, подобна на нея, е тази: "Да възлюбиш ближния си, както себе си."

40 O n these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” Jesus: How Can David Call His Descendant Lord?

На тези две заповеди се крепят целият закон и пророците. Исус Христос и Давид

41 W hile the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

И когато бяха събрани фарисеите, Исус ги попита:

42 s aying, “What do you think about the Christ? Whose Son is He?” They said to Him, “ The Son of David.”

Какво мислите за Христос? Чий Син е? Казаха Му: На Давид.

43 H e said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying:

Каза им: Тогава как Давид чрез Духа Го нарича Господ, като казва:

44 ‘ The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool”’?

"Каза Господ на моя Господ: Седи отдясно на Мене, докато положа враговете Ти под краката Ти"?

45 I f David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?”

И така, ако Давид го нарича Господ, как тогава Той е негов син?

46 A nd no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore.

И никой не можеше да Му отговори нито дума; нито пък дръзна вече някой от този ден да Му задава въпроси.
