1 F urthermore King David said to all the assembly: “My son Solomon, whom alone God has chosen, is young and inexperienced; and the work is great, because the temple is not for man but for the Lord God.

Тогава цар Давид каза на цялото събрание: Синът ми Соломон, когото сам Бог избра, е още млад и нежен, а работата е голяма; защото този палат не е за човек, а за Господа Бога.

2 N ow for the house of my God I have prepared with all my might: gold for things to be made of gold, silver for things of silver, bronze for things of bronze, iron for things of iron, wood for things of wood, onyx stones, stones to be set, glistening stones of various colors, all kinds of precious stones, and marble slabs in abundance.

И така, аз приготвих с всичката си сила за дома на моя Бог златото за златните вещи, среброто за сребърните вещи, медта за медните вещи, желязото за железните вещи и дърветата за дървените вещи, също ониксови камъни, камъни за влагане, камъни лъскави и разноцветни и всякакви скъпоценни камъни, и голямо количество мрамори.

3 M oreover, because I have set my affection on the house of my God, I have given to the house of my God, over and above all that I have prepared for the holy house, my own special treasure of gold and silver:

При това понеже утвърдих сърцето си към дома на моя Бог, освен всичко, което съм приготвил за святия дом, частното си съкровище от злато и сребро,

4 t hree thousand talents of gold, of the gold of Ophir, and seven thousand talents of refined silver, to overlay the walls of the houses;

а именно, три хиляди таланта злато от офирското злато и седем хиляди таланта пречистено сребро, с което да облекат стените на обиталищата,

5 t he gold for things of gold and the silver for things of silver, and for all kinds of work to be done by the hands of craftsmen. Who then is willing to consecrate himself this day to the Lord ?”

златото за златните вещи и среброто за сребърните вещи, и за всякаква работа, която ще се изработи с ръцете на художниците. И така, кой ще направи днес доброволен принос на Господа?

6 T hen the leaders of the fathers’ houses, leaders of the tribes of Israel, the captains of thousands and of hundreds, with the officers over the king’s work, offered willingly.

Тогава първенците на бащините домове, първенците на Израелевите племена, на хилядниците, стотниците и надзирателите на царските работи пожертваха усърдно;

7 T hey gave for the work of the house of God five thousand talents and ten thousand darics of gold, ten thousand talents of silver, eighteen thousand talents of bronze, and one hundred thousand talents of iron.

и дадоха за работата на Божия дом пет хиляди таланта и десет хиляди драхми злато, десет хиляди таланта сребро, осемнадесет хиляди таланта мед и сто хиляди таланта желязо.

8 A nd whoever had precious stones gave them to the treasury of the house of the Lord, into the hand of Jehiel the Gershonite.

А у които се намериха скъпоценни камъни - и тях дадоха за съкровищницата на Господния дом чрез ръката на гирсонеца Ехиил.

9 T hen the people rejoiced, for they had offered willingly, because with a loyal heart they had offered willingly to the Lord; and King David also rejoiced greatly. David’s Praise to God

Тогава народът се зарадва, защото жертваха усърдно, понеже с цяло сърце принасяха доброволно на Господа; също и цар Давид се зарадва твърде много.

10 T herefore David blessed the Lord before all the assembly; and David said: “Blessed are You, Lord God of Israel, our Father, forever and ever.

Затова Давид благослови Господа пред цялото събрание и каза: Благословен си, Господи, от века до века, Бог на нашия баща Израел.

11 Y ours, O Lord, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is Yours; Yours is the kingdom, O Lord, And You are exalted as head over all.

Твое, Господи, е величието и силата, и великолепието, и сиянието, и славата; защото всичко е Твое, което е на небето и на земята; Твое е царството, Господи, и Ти си нависоко като глава над всичко.

12 B oth riches and honor come from You, And You reign over all. In Your hand is power and might; In Your hand it is to make great And to give strength to all.

Богатствата и славата са от Теб и Ти владееш над всичко; в Твоята ръка е могъществото и силата и в Твоята ръка е да възвеличаваш и да укрепяваш всички.

13 “ Now therefore, our God, We thank You And praise Your glorious name.

И така, сега, Боже наш, ние Ти благодарим и хвалим Твоето славно име.

14 B ut who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.

Но кой съм аз и кой е народът ми, за да можем да принесем доброволно принос като този? Защото всичко е от Теб и от Твоето даваме на Тебе.

15 F or we are aliens and pilgrims before You, As were all our fathers; Our days on earth are as a shadow, And without hope.

Защото сме чужденци пред Теб и пришълци, както всичките ни бащи; дните ни на земята са като сянка и няма нищо трайно.

16 “ O Lord our God, all this abundance that we have prepared to build You a house for Your holy name is from Your hand, and is all Your own.

Господи, Боже наш, целият този куп материал, който сме приготвили, за да Ти построим дом за Твоето свято име, идва от Твоята ръка и всичко е Твое.

17 I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You.

И зная, Боже мой, че Ти изпитваш сърцето и че благоволението Ти е в правдата. С правотата на сърцето си аз принесох доброволно всичко това; и сега с радост видях, че и Твоят народ, който присъства тук, принася на Тебе доброволно.

18 O Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, our fathers, keep this forever in the intent of the thoughts of the heart of Your people, and fix their heart toward You.

Господи, Боже на бащите ни Авраам, Исаак и Израел, опази това завинаги в сърдечните размишления на народа Си и отправи сърцето им към Себе Си;

19 A nd give my son Solomon a loyal heart to keep Your commandments and Your testimonies and Your statutes, to do all these things, and to build the temple for which I have made provision.”

и дай на сина ми Соломон съвършено сърце, за да пази заповедите Ти, откровенията Ти и наредбите Ти и да върши всичко това, и да построи палата, за който направих приготовление.

20 T hen David said to all the assembly, “Now bless the Lord your God.” So all the assembly blessed the Lord God of their fathers, and bowed their heads and prostrated themselves before the Lord and the king. Solomon Anointed King

Тогава Давид каза на цялото събрание: Благословете сега Господа, вашия Бог. И така, цялото събрание благослови Господа, Бога на бащите си, и като се наведоха, се поклониха на Господа и на царя.

21 A nd they made sacrifices to the Lord and offered burnt offerings to the Lord on the next day: a thousand bulls, a thousand rams, a thousand lambs, with their drink offerings, and sacrifices in abundance for all Israel.

А на следващия ден пожертваха жертви на Господа, като принесоха във всеизгаряния на Господа хиляда телета, хиляда овни и хиляда агнета, с възлиянията им, също и голямо количество жертви за целия Израел;

22 S o they ate and drank before the Lord with great gladness on that day. And they made Solomon the son of David king the second time, and anointed him before the Lord to be the leader, and Zadok to be priest.

и на същия ден ядоха и пиха пред Господа с голяма радост. И втори път прогласиха Давидовия син Соломон за цар и го помазаха на Господа за управител, а Садок за свещеник.

23 T hen Solomon sat on the throne of the Lord as king instead of David his father, and prospered; and all Israel obeyed him.

Тогава Соломон седна на Господния престол като цар вместо баща си Давид и благоуспяваше; и целият Израел му се покори.

24 A ll the leaders and the mighty men, and also all the sons of King David, submitted themselves to King Solomon.

Също и всички първенци, и силните мъже, още и всички синове на цар Давид се покориха на цар Соломон.

25 S o the Lord exalted Solomon exceedingly in the sight of all Israel, and bestowed on him such royal majesty as had not been on any king before him in Israel. The Close of David’s Reign

И Господ възвеличи Соломон твърде много пред целия Израел и му даде такова царско величие, каквото никой цар не беше имал преди него в Израел.

26 T hus David the son of Jesse reigned over all Israel.

Така Давид, Есеевият син, царува̀ над целия Израел.

27 A nd the period that he reigned over Israel was forty years; seven years he reigned in Hebron, and thirty-three years he reigned in Jerusalem.

Времето, през което царува̀ над Израел, беше четиридесет години: седем години царува̀ в Хеврон и тридесет и три в Йерусалим.

28 S o he died in a good old age, full of days and riches and honor; and Solomon his son reigned in his place.

И умря в честита старост, сит от дни, богатство и слава; и вместо него се възцари синът му Соломон.

29 N ow the acts of King David, first and last, indeed they are written in the book of Samuel the seer, in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the book of Gad the seer,

А делата на цар Давид, първите и последните, са записани в Книгата на ясновидеца Самуил, в Книгата на пророка Натан и в Книгата на ясновидеца Гад

30 w ith all his reign and his might, and the events that happened to him, to Israel, and to all the kingdoms of the lands.

с всички събития на царуването му и с могъществото му, и с времената, които преминаха над него, над Израел и над всичките царства на околните страни.
