1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

¶ Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés, diciendo:

2 M ake thee two trumpets of silver; of beaten work shalt thou make them that thou may use them for the convocation of the congregation and for the moving of the camp.

Hazte dos trompetas de plata; de obra de martillo las harás, las cuales te servirán para convocar la congregación, y para hacer mover el campamento.

3 A nd when they shall blow them, all the congregation shall join themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.

Y cuando las tocaren, toda la congregación se juntará a ti a la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.

4 B ut when they blow only one, then the princes, who are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.

Mas cuando tocaren sólo una, entonces se congregarán a ti los príncipes, las cabezas de los millares de Israel.

5 W hen ye blow an alarm, then ye shall move the camp of those that are lodged towards the east.

Y cuando tocareis alarma, entonces moverán el campamento de los que están alojados al oriente.

6 A nd when ye blow an alarm the second time, then ye shall move the camp of those that are lodged on the side of the Negev; they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.

Y cuando tocareis alarma la segunda vez, entonces moverán el campamento de los que están alojados al mediodía; tocarán alarma a sus partidas.

7 B ut when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.

Pero cuando hubiereis de juntar la congregación, tocaréis, mas no con sonido de alarma.

8 A nd the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets; and you shall have them as a perpetual statute throughout your generations.

Y los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, tocarán las trompetas; y las tendréis por estatuto perpetuo por vuestras generaciones.

9 A nd when ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.

Y cuando saliereis a la guerra en vuestra tierra contra el enemigo que os molestare, tocaréis alarma con las trompetas; y seréis en memoria delante del SEÑOR vuestro Dios, y seréis salvos de vuestros enemigos.

10 A lso in the day of your gladness and in your solemn days and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings and over the sacrifices of your peace, that they may be to you for a memorial before your God; I AM your God.

También en el día de vuestra alegría, y en vuestras solemnidades, y en los principios de vuestros meses, tocaréis las trompetas sobre vuestros holocaustos, y sobre los sacrificios de vuestra paz, y os serán por memoria delante de vuestro Dios: YO SOY vuestro Dios.

11 ¶ And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.

¶ Y fue en el año segundo, en el mes segundo, a los veinte del mes, que la nube se alzó del tabernáculo del testimonio.

12 A nd the sons of Israel moved out of the wilderness of Sinai, and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.

Y se movieron los hijos de Israel por sus partidas del desierto de Sinaí; y paró la nube en el desierto de Parán.

13 A nd they moved the first time according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

Y se movieron la primera vez al dicho del SEÑOR por mano de Moisés.

14 I n the first place went the standard of the camp of the sons of Judah according to their armies, and over his host was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab.

Y el estandarte del campamento de los hijos de Judá comenzó a marchar primero, por sus escuadrones; y Naasón, hijo de Aminadab, era sobre su ejército.

15 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Issachar was Nethaneel, the son of Zuar.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar era Natanael hijo de Zuar.

16 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Zebulun was Eliab, the son of Helon.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab hijo de Helón.

17 A nd the tabernacle was already taken down, and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.

Y el tabernáculo era ya desarmado, y se movieron los hijos de Gersón y los hijos de Merari, llevando el tabernáculo.

18 T hen the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies, and over his host was Elizur, the son of Shedeur.

Luego comenzó a marchar el estandarte del campamento de Rubén por sus escuadrones; y Elisur, hijo de Sedeur, era sobre su ejército.

19 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Simeon was Shelumiel, the son of Zurishaddai.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel hijo de Zurisadai.

20 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Gad was Eliasaph, the son of Deuel.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf hijo de Deuel.

21 T hen the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary, and while they were coming, the others set up the tabernacle.

Luego comenzaron a marchar los coatitas llevando el santuario; y entre tanto que ellos llegaban, los otros asentaron el tabernáculo.

22 A fter them the standard of the camp of the sons of Ephraim set forward according to their armies, and over his host was Elishama, the son of Ammihud.

Después comenzó a marchar el estandarte del campamento de los hijos de Efraín por sus escuadrones; y Elisama, hijo de Amiud, era sobre su ejército.

23 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Manasseh was Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel hijo de Pedasur.

24 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Benjamin was Abidan, the son of Gideoni.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán hijo de Gedeoni.

25 T hen the standard of the camp of the sons of Dan set forward according to their armies, gathering together all the camps, and over his host was Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai.

Luego comenzó a marchar el estandarte del campamento de los hijos de Dan por sus escuadrones, recogiendo todos los campamentos; y Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai, era sobre su ejército.

26 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Asher was Pagiel, the son of Ocran.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel hijo de Ocrán.

27 A nd over the host of the tribe of the sons of Naphtali was Ahira, the son of Enan.

Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira hijo de Enán.

28 T hus were the journeyings of the sons of Israel according to their armies when they set forward.

Estas son las partidas de los hijos de Israel por sus ejércitos; y así partían.

29 ¶ Then Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it to you. Come thou with us, and we will do thee good; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.

¶ Entonces dijo Moisés a Hobab, hijo de Ragüel madianita, su suegro: Nosotros partimos para el lugar del cual el SEÑOR ha dicho: Yo os lo daré. Ven con nosotros, y te haremos bien; porque el SEÑOR ha hablado bien respecto a Israel.

30 A nd he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to my own land and to my kindred.

Y él le respondió: Yo no iré, sino que me marcharé a mi tierra y a mi natural.

31 A nd he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; for thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou shalt be to us instead of eyes.

Y él le dijo: Te ruego que no nos dejes; porque tú sabes como debemos de acampar en el desierto, y nos serás en lugar de ojos.

32 A nd it shall be, if thou go with us, that when we come into the goodness that the LORD shall do unto us, that we will do thee good.

Y será, que si vinieres con nosotros, cuando tuviéremos el bien que el SEÑOR nos ha de hacer, nosotros te haremos bien.

33 T hus they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey, and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, searching out a resting place for them.

Así partieron del monte del SEÑOR, camino de tres días; y el arca del pacto del SEÑOR fue delante de ellos camino de tres días, buscándoles reposo.

34 A nd the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, from when they went out of the camp.

Y la nube del SEÑOR iba sobre ellos de día, desde que partieron del campamento.

35 A nd it came to pass, when the ark was moved, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered, and let those that hate thee flee before thee.

Y fue, que al mover el arca, Moisés decía: Levántate, oh SEÑOR, y sean disipados tus enemigos, y huyan delante de tu rostro los que te aborrecen.

36 A nd when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the ten thousands of Israel.

Y al asentarse ella, decía: Vuelve, oh SEÑOR, a los diez millares de Israel.
