1 ¶ The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is no one that does good.

Dijo el loco en su corazón: No hay Dios. Se corrompieron, hicieron obras abominables; no hay quien haga bien.

2 T he LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men to see if there were any that did understand and seek God.

El SEÑOR miró desde los cielos sobre los hijos de los hombres, por ver si había algún entendido, que buscara a Dios.

3 T hey are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is no one that does good, no, not one.

Todos declinaron, juntamente, se han corrompido; no hay quien haga bien, no hay ni siquiera uno.

4 ¶ The workers of iniquity certainly know this; those who eat up my people as they eat bread and do not call upon the LORD.

¶ Ciertamente conocieron esto todos los que obran iniquidad, que devoran a mi pueblo como si pan comieran; al SEÑOR no invocaron.

5 T here they were in great fear: for God is with the nation of the righteous.

Allí temblaron de espanto; porque Dios está con la nación de los justos.

6 Y e have shamed the counsel of the poor because the LORD is his hope.

El consejo del pobre habéis escarnecido, por cuanto el SEÑOR es su esperanza.

7 O h that the saving health of Israel were come out of Zion! When the LORD turns back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

¡Quién diera de Sion la salud de Israel tornando el SEÑOR la cautividad de su pueblo! Se gozará Jacob, y se alegrará Israel.
