1 ¶ In Judah is God known; his name is great in Israel.

Dios es conocido en Judá: Dios, en Israel es grande su nombre.

2 I n Salem also is his tabernacle and his dwelling place in Zion.

Y en Salem está su tabernáculo, y su habitación en Sion.

3 T here he broke the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the war. Selah.

Allí quebró las saetas del arco; el escudo, y la espada, y la guerra. (Selah.)

4 T hou art more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.

Ilustre eres tú; y fuerte, más que los montes de caza.

5 T he stouthearted are spoiled; they have slept their sleep; and nothing was found in the hands of the men of might.

Los fuertes de corazón fueron despojados; durmieron su sueño, y nada hallaron en sus manos todos los varones fuertes.

6 A t thy rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

Por tu reprensión, oh Dios de Jacob, el carro y el caballo fueron adormecidos.

7 ¶ Thou, even thou, art to be feared, and who may stand in thy sight when once thou art angry?

¶ Tú, terrible eres tú: ¿Y quién parará delante de ti, en comenzando tu ira?

8 F rom the heavens thou didst cause judgment to be heard; the earth feared and was still,

Desde los cielos hiciste oír juicio; la tierra tuvo temor y quedó quieta,

9 w hen thou didst arise unto judgment, O God, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.

Cuando te levantaste, oh Dios, al juicio, para salvar a todos los mansos de la tierra. (Selah.)

10 S urely the wrath of man shall cause praise to come unto thee; the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain.

Ciertamente la ira del hombre te acarreará alabanza; tú reprimirás el resto de las iras.

11 V ow and pay unto the LORD your God; let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.

Prometed, y pagad al SEÑOR vuestro Dios todos los que estáis alrededor de él; traed presentes al que merece temor.

12 H e shall cut off the spirit of princes; he is terrible to the kings of the earth.

Cortará él el espíritu de los príncipes; terrible es a los reyes de la tierra.
