1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

¶ Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés y a Aarón, diciendo:

2 T his is the ordinance of the law which the LORD has commanded, saying, Speak unto the sons of Israel that they bring thee a red heifer, perfect, in which there is no blemish, and upon which there has never been placed a yoke;

Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que el SEÑOR ha prescrito, diciendo: Di a los hijos de Israel que te traigan una vaca bermeja, perfecta, en la cual no haya falta, sobre la cual no se haya puesto yugo;

3 a nd ye shall give her unto Eleazar, the priest, that he may bring her forth outside the camp, and he shall cause her to be slain in his presence.

y la daréis a Eleazar el sacerdote, y él la sacará fuera del campamento, y la hará degollar en su presencia.

4 A nd Eleazar, the priest, shall take of her blood with his finger and sprinkle of her blood directly before the tabernacle of the testimony seven times;

Y tomará Eleazar el sacerdote de su sangre con su dedo, y rociará hacia la delantera del tabernáculo del testimonio con la sangre de ella siete veces;

5 a nd he shall cause the heifer to be burnt in his sight; her skin and her flesh and her blood with her dung shall he cause to burn.

y hará quemar la vaca ante sus ojos; su cuero y su carne y su sangre, con su estiércol, hará quemar.

6 T hen the priest shall take cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet and cast it into the midst of the burning of the heifer.

Luego tomará el sacerdote madera de cedro, e hisopo, y escarlata, y lo echará en medio del fuego en que arde la vaca.

7 T hen the priest shall wash his clothes, and he shall bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp, and the priest shall be unclean until the evening.

El sacerdote lavará luego sus vestidos, lavará también su carne con agua, y después entrará en el campamento; y será inmundo el sacerdote hasta la tarde.

8 L ikewise he that burns her shall wash his clothes in water and bathe his flesh in water and shall be unclean until the evening.

Asimismo el que la quemó, lavará sus vestidos en agua, también lavará en agua su carne, y será inmundo hasta la tarde.

9 A nd a man that is clean shall gather up the ashes of the heifer and lay them up outside the camp in a clean place, and it shall be kept for the congregation of the sons of Israel for the water of separation; it is sin.

Y un hombre limpio recogerá las cenizas de la vaca, y las pondrá fuera del campamento en un lugar limpio, y las guardará la congregación de los hijos de Israel para el agua de separación; es pecado.

10 A nd he that gathers the ashes of the heifer shall wash his clothes and be unclean until the evening; and it shall be unto the sons of Israel and unto the stranger that sojourns among them for a perpetual statute.

Y el que recogió las cenizas de la vaca, lavará sus vestidos, y será inmundo hasta la tarde; y será a los hijos de Israel, y al extranjero que mora entre ellos, por estatuto perpetuo.

11 ¶ He that touches the dead body of any human person shall be unclean seven days.

¶ El que tocare cadáver de cualquier persona humana, siete días será inmundo.

12 T hey shall remove the sin from themselves with that water on the third day, and on the seventh day they shall be clean; but if they do not remove the sin from themselves the third day, then the seventh day they shall not be clean.

Este se removerá el pecado al tercer día con aquella agua, y al séptimo día será limpio; y si al tercer día no se remueve el pecado, no será limpio al séptimo día.

13 W hoever touches the dead body of anyone that is dead and does not remove the sin has defiled the tabernacle of the LORD; and that person shall be cut off from Israel; because the water of separation was not sprinkled upon him, he shall be unclean, and his uncleanness shall be upon him.

Cualquiera que tocare cadáver; que tocare en persona de hombre que estuviere muerto, y no removiere el pecado, el tabernáculo del SEÑOR contaminó; y aquella persona será cortada de Israel; por cuanto el agua de la separación no fue rociada sobre él, inmundo será; y su inmundicia será sobre él.

14 T his is the law when anyone dies in a tent; all that come into the tent and all that are in the tent shall be unclean seven days.

Esta es la ley cuando alguno muriere en la tienda: cualquiera que entrare en la tienda y todo lo que estuviere en ella, será inmundo siete días.

15 A nd every open vessel which has no lid fastened upon it shall be unclean.

Y todo vaso abierto, sobre el cual no hubiere tapadera bien ajustada, será inmundo.

16 A nd whoever touches one that is slain with a sword in the open fields or a dead body or a human bone or a grave, shall be unclean seven days.

Y cualquiera que tocare un muerto a espada sobre la faz del campo, o un cadáver, o un hueso humano, o un sepulcro, siete días será inmundo.

17 A nd for the unclean person they shall take of the dust of the heifer that was burnt as sin and put living water over it in a vessel;

Y para el inmundo tomarán del polvo de la vaca que fue quemada como de pecado, y echarán sobre ella agua viva en un vaso;

18 a nd a clean person shall take hyssop and dip it in the water and sprinkle it upon the tent and upon all the stuff and upon the persons that were there and upon the one that touched the bone or the one slain or the one dead or the grave.

y tomará hisopo, y un varón limpio lo mojará en el agua, y rociará sobre la tienda, y sobre todas las alhajas, y sobre las personas que allí estuvieren, y sobre aquel que hubiere tocado el hueso, o el matado, o el muerto, o el sepulcro.

19 A nd the clean person shall sprinkle upon the unclean on the third day and on the seventh day; and when he has removed the sin from them the seventh day, he shall then wash his clothes and bathe himself in water and shall be clean in the evening.

Y el limpio rociará sobre el inmundo al tercer día y al séptimo día; y cuando haya removido el pecado al día séptimo, él lavará luego sus vestidos, y a sí mismo se lavará con agua, y será limpio a la tarde.

20 B ut the man that shall be unclean and shall not cause the sin to be removed from himself, that person shall be cut off from among the congregation because he has defiled the tabernacle of the LORD; the water of separation has not been sprinkled upon him; he is unclean.

Y el varón que fuere inmundo, y no se hace remover el pecado, la tal persona será cortada de entre la congregación, por cuanto contaminó el tabernáculo del SEÑOR; no fue rociada sobre él el agua de separación, es inmundo.

21 A nd it shall be a perpetual statute unto them, also he that sprinkles the water of separation shall wash his clothes; and he that touches the water of separation shall be unclean until evening.

Y les será por estatuto perpetuo; también el que rociare el agua de la separación lavará sus vestidos; y el que tocare el agua de la separación, será inmundo hasta la tarde.

22 A nd whatever the unclean person touches shall be unclean; and the person that touches it shall be unclean until evening.

Y todo lo que el inmundo tocare, será inmundo; y la persona que le tocare, será inmunda hasta la tarde.
