1 ¶ Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, thou that leadest Joseph like a flock; thou that dwellest between the cherubim, shine forth.

Oh Pastor de Israel, escucha; tú que pastoreas como a ovejas a José, que estás entre querubines, resplandece.

2 I n the presence of Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up thy strength and come and save us.

Despierta tu valentía delante de Efraín, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, y ven a salvarnos.

3 T urn us again, O God, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Oh Dios, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

4 O LORD God of the hosts, how long wilt thou be angry against the prayer of thy people?

SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿Hasta cuándo humearás tú contra la oración de tu pueblo?

5 T hou dost feed them with the bread of tears and give them tears to drink in great measure.

Les diste a comer pan de lágrimas, y les diste a beber lágrimas con medida.

6 T hou dost make us a strife unto our neighbours, and our enemies laugh at us among themselves.

Nos pusiste por contienda a nuestros vecinos; y nuestros enemigos se burlan de nosotros entre sí.

7 T urn us again, O God of the hosts, and cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Oh Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

8 ¶ Thou hast brought a vine out of Egypt; thou hast cast out the Gentiles and planted it.

¶ Hiciste venir una vid desde Egipto; echaste los gentiles, y la plantaste.

9 T hou didst prepare room before it and didst cause it to take deep root, and it filled the earth.

Limpiaste sitio delante de ella, e hiciste arraigar sus raíces, y llenó la tierra.

10 T he hills were covered with the shadow of it, and its boughs were like the cedars of God.

Los montes fueron cubiertos de su sombra; y sus ramas como cedros de Dios.

11 S he sent out her boughs unto the sea and her branches unto the river.

Envió sus ramas hasta el mar, y hasta el río sus renuevos.

12 W hy hast thou then broken down her hedges, so that all those who pass by the way pluck her?

¿Por qué aportillaste sus vallados, y la vendimian todos los que pasan por el camino?

13 T he boar out of the wood wastes it, and the wild beast of the field devours it.

La estropeó el puerco montés, y la pació la bestia del campo.

14 R eturn, we beseech thee, O God of the hosts: look down from heaven and behold and visit this vine

Oh Dios de los ejércitos, vuelve ahora; mira desde el cielo, y ve, y visita esta vid,

15 a nd the vineyard which thy right hand has planted and the branch that thou didst make strong for thyself.

y la viña que tu diestra plantó, y sobre el renuevo que corroboraste para ti.

16 I t is burned with fire; it is cut down; they perish at the rebuke of thy countenance.

Quemada a fuego está, y talada; perezcan por la reprensión de tu rostro.

17 L et thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou didst make strong for thyself,

Sea tu mano sobre el varón de tu diestra, sobre el hijo del hombre que corroboraste para ti.

18 s o we will not go back from thee. Thou shalt quicken us, and we will call upon thy name.

Así no nos volveremos de ti; nos darás vida, e invocaremos tu Nombre.

19 T urn us again, O LORD God of the hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.

Oh SEÑOR, Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.
