1 ¶ Then the LORD spoke unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh and say unto him, The LORD hath said thus, Let my people go that they may serve me.

¶ Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Entra al Faraón, y dile: El SEÑOR ha dicho así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirva.

2 A nd if thou refuse to let them go, behold, I will smite all thy borders with frogs:

Y si no lo quisieres dejar ir, he aquí yo heriré con ranas todos tus términos.

3 A nd the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into thy house and into thy bedchamber and upon thy bed and into the houses of thy slaves and upon thy people and into thine ovens and into thy kneadingtroughs;

Y el río criará ranas, las cuales subirán, y entrarán en tu casa, y en la cámara de tu cama, y sobre tu cama, y en las casas de tus siervos, y en tu pueblo, y en tus hornos, y en tus artesas;

4 a nd the frogs shall come up upon thee and upon thy people and upon all thy slaves.

y las ranas subirán sobre ti, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre todos tus siervos.

5 A nd the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth thine hand with thy rod over the rivers, over the streams, and over the ponds and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu mano con tu vara sobre los ríos, arroyos, y estanques, para que haga venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.

6 A nd Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and frogs came up and covered the land of Egypt.

Entonces Aarón extendió su mano sobre las aguas de Egipto, y subieron ranas que cubrieron la tierra de Egipto.

7 A nd the magicians did the same with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

Y los encantadores hicieron lo mismo con sus encantamientos, e hicieron venir ranas sobre la tierra de Egipto.

8 T hen Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron and said unto them, Intreat the LORD that he may take away the frogs from me and from my people, and I will let the people go that they may sacrifice unto the LORD.

Entonces el Faraón llamó a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dijo: Orad al SEÑOR que quite las ranas de mí y de mi pueblo; y dejaré ir al pueblo, para que sacrifique al SEÑOR.

9 A nd Moses said unto Pharaoh, Tell me: when shall I intreat for thee and for thy slaves and for thy people, to destroy the frogs from thee and thy houses, that they may remain only in the river?

Y dijo Moisés al Faraón: Señálame: ¿cuándo oraré por ti, y por tus siervos, y por tu pueblo, para que las ranas sean quitadas de ti, y de tus casas, y que solamente se queden en el río?

10 A nd he said, Tomorrow. And Moses replied, Be it according to thy word, that thou may know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

Y él dijo: Mañana. Y Moisés respondió: Se hará conforme a tu palabra, para que conozcas que no hay otro como el SEÑOR nuestro Dios;

11 A nd the frogs shall depart from thee and from thy houses and from thy slaves and from thy people; they shall remain only in the river.

y las ranas se irán de ti, y de tus casas, y de tus siervos, y de tu pueblo, y solamente se quedarán en el río.

12 T hen Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh; and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

Entonces salieron Moisés y Aarón de la presencia del Faraón, y clamó Moisés al SEÑOR sobre el negocio de las ranas que había puesto al Faraón.

13 A nd the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs of the houses, of the villages, and of the fields died.

E hizo el SEÑOR conforme a la palabra de Moisés, y murieron las ranas de las casas, de los cortijos, y de los campos.

14 A nd they gathered them together in heaps; and the land was corrupted.

Y las juntaron en montones, y la tierra se corrompió.

15 B ut when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart and did not hearken unto them as the LORD had said.

Y viendo Faraón que le habían dado alivio, agravó su corazón, y no los escuchó; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho.

16 ¶ Then the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out thy rod and smite the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

¶ Entonces el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Di a Aarón: Extiende tu vara, y hiere el polvo de la tierra, para que se vuelva piojos por toda la tierra de Egipto.

17 A nd they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod and smote the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

Y ellos lo hicieron así; y Aarón extendió su mano con su vara, e hirió el polvo de la tierra, el cual se volvió piojos, así en los hombres como en las bestias; todo el polvo de la tierra se volvió piojos en toda la tierra de Egipto.

18 A nd the magicians did the same with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not. And there were lice upon man and upon beast.

Y los encantadores hicieron así también, para sacar piojos con sus encantamientos; mas no pudieron. Y había piojos así en los hombres como en las bestias.

19 T hen the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God. But Pharaoh’s heart hardened, and he did not hearken unto them as the LORD had said.

Entonces los magos dijeron al Faraón: Dedo de Dios es éste. Mas el corazón del Faraón se endureció, y no los escuchó; como el SEÑOR lo había dicho.

20 ¶ And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh; behold, he goes forth to the water and say unto him, The LORD hath said thus, Let my people go that they may serve me.

¶ Y el SEÑOR dijo a Moisés: Levántate de mañana y ponte delante del Faraón, he aquí él sale a las aguas; y dile: El SEÑOR ha dicho así: Deja ir a mi pueblo, para que me sirva.

21 F or if thou wilt not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon thee and upon thy slaves and upon thy people and into thy houses; and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of all kinds of flies and also the ground upon which they are.

Porque si no dejares ir a mi pueblo, he aquí yo enviaré sobre ti, y sobre tus siervos, y sobre tu pueblo, y sobre tus casas toda suerte de moscas; y las casas de los egipcios se llenarán de toda suerte de moscas, y asimismo la tierra donde ellos estuvieren.

22 A nd I will separate in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no kind of flies shall be there to the end that thou may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

Y aquel día yo apartaré la tierra de Gosén, en la cual mi pueblo habita, para que ninguna suerte de moscas haya en ella; a fin de que sepas que yo soy el SEÑOR en medio de la tierra.

23 A nd I will put redemption between my people and thy people. Tomorrow shall this sign be.

Y yo pondré redención entre mi pueblo y el tuyo. Mañana será esta señal.

24 A nd the LORD did so: that there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh and into his slaves’ houses and into all the land of Egypt; and the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

Y el SEÑOR lo hizo así: que vino toda suerte de moscas molestísimas sobre la casa del Faraón, y sobre las casas de sus siervos, y sobre toda la tierra de Egipto; y la tierra fue corrompida a causa de ellas.

25 T hen Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron and said, Go ye, sacrifice to your God in the land of Egypt.

Entonces el Faraón llamó a Moisés y a Aarón, y les dijo: Andad, sacrificad a vuestro Dios en la tierra de Egipto.

26 A nd Moses replied, It is not convenient to do so; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God. Behold, if we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, will they not stone us?

Y Moisés respondió: No conviene que hagamos así, porque sacrificaríamos al SEÑOR nuestro Dios la abominación de los egipcios. He aquí, si sacrificáramos la abominación de los egipcios delante de ellos, ¿no nos apedrearían?

27 W e will go three days’ journey into the wilderness and sacrifice to the LORD our God as he has said unto us.

Camino de tres días iremos por el desierto, y sacrificaremos al SEÑOR nuestro Dios, como él nos lo ha dicho.

28 A nd Pharaoh said, I will let you go that ye may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only ye shall not go very far away; pray for me.

Y dijo el Faraón: Yo os dejaré ir para que sacrifiquéis al SEÑOR vuestro Dios en el desierto, con tal que no vayáis más lejos; orad por mí.

29 A nd Moses answered, Behold, as I go out from thy presence, I will intreat the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his slaves, and from his people tomorrow; if Pharaoh will not deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.

Y respondió Moisés: He aquí, saliendo yo de tu presencia, rogaré al SEÑOR que las diversas suertes de moscas se vayan del Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo mañana; con tal que el Faraón no falte más, no dejando ir al pueblo a sacrificar al SEÑOR.

30 T hen Moses went out from Pharaoh, and prayed unto the LORD.

Entonces Moisés salió de la presencia del Faraón, y oró al SEÑOR.

31 A nd the LORD did according to the word of Moses, and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his slaves, and from his people; there remained not one.

Y el SEÑOR hizo conforme a la palabra de Moisés; y quitó todas aquellas moscas del Faraón, y de sus siervos, y de su pueblo, sin que quedara una.

32 A nd Pharaoh even hardened his heart this time and did not let the people go.

Mas el Faraón agravó aun esta vez su corazón, y no dejó ir al pueblo.
