1 ¶ Be merciful unto me, O God, for man would swallow me up; he oppresses me fighting me daily.

Ten misericordia de mí, oh Dios, porque me devoraría el hombre; me oprime combatiéndome cada día.

2 M y enemies would daily swallow me up, for they are many that fight against me, O thou most High.

Me devoran mis enemigos cada día; porque muchos son los que pelean contra mí, oh Altísimo.

3 W hen I am afraid, I will trust in thee.

Cuando temo, confiaré en ti.

4 I n God I will praise his word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.

En Dios alabaré su palabra; en Dios he confiado, no temeré lo que la carne me hiciere.

5 E very day my life is filled with sorrow; all their thoughts are against me for evil.

Todos los días me contristan mis negocios; contra mí son todos sus pensamientos para mal.

6 T hey gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps when they wait for my soul.

Se reúnen, se esconden, miran ellos atentamente mis pisadas, esperando mi alma.

7 S hall they escape by iniquity? in thine anger cast down the peoples, O God.

¿Escaparán ellos por la iniquidad? Oh Dios, derriba los pueblos con tu furor.

8 ¶ Thou tellest my wanderings; put my tears into thy bottle; are they not in thy book?

¶ Mis huidas has contado tú; pon mis lágrimas en tu odre, ciertamente en tu libro.

9 W hen I cry unto thee, then shall my enemies be turned back; in this I know that God is for me.

Entonces serán vueltos atrás mis enemigos el día que yo clamare a ti; en esto conozco que Dios es por mí.

10 I n God I will praise his word; in the LORD I will praise his word.

En Dios alabaré su palabra; en el SEÑOR alabaré su palabra.

11 I n God I have put my trust; I will not be afraid of what man can do unto me.

En Dios he confiado; no temeré lo que el hombre me pueda hacer.

12 T hy promises are upon me, O God; I will render praises unto thee.

Sobre mí, oh Dios, están tus promesas; te tributaré alabanzas.

13 F or thou hast delivered my life from death; thou hast kept my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.

Porque has librado mi vida de la muerte, ciertamente mis pies de caída, para que ande delante de Dios en la luz de los que viven.
