1 ¶ And the LORD spoke unto Moses in Mount Sinai, saying,

¶ Y el SEÑOR habló a Moisés en el monte de Sinaí, diciendo:

2 S peak unto the sons of Israel and say unto them, When ye have come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the LORD.

Habla a los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hubiereis entrado en la tierra que yo os doy, la tierra guardará sábado al SEÑOR.

3 S ix years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard and gather in the fruit thereof,

Seis años sembrarás tu tierra, y seis años podarás tu viña, y recogerás sus frutos;

4 b ut the seventh year the land shall have a sabbath of rest, a sabbath unto the LORD: thou shalt neither sow thy field nor prune thy vineyard.

y el séptimo año la tierra tendrá sábado de reposo, sábado al SEÑOR; no sembrarás tu tierra, ni podarás tu viña.

5 T hat which grows of its own accord in thy land that was harvested, thou shalt not reap; neither fence in the grapes of thy consecrated vine; for it is a year of rest unto the land.

Lo que de suyo naciere en tu tierra segada, no lo segarás; y las uvas de tu vid consagrada no encerrarás; año de reposo será a la tierra.

6 B ut the sabbath of the land shall be food for you, for thee and for thy slave and for thy maid and for thy hired servant and for thy stranger that sojourns with thee

Mas el sábado de la tierra os será alimento para ti, y para tu siervo, y para tu sierva, y para tu criado, y para tu extranjero que morare contigo;

7 a nd for thy beast and for the animals that are in thy land shall all the fruit thereof be food.

y a tu bestia, y al animal que hubiere en tu tierra, será todo el fruto de ella para comer.

8 ¶ And thou shalt number seven sabbaths of years unto thee, seven times seven years; and the space of the seven sabbaths of years shall be unto thee forty-nine years.

¶ Y contarás siete sábados de años, siete veces siete años; de modo que los días de las siete semanas de años vendrán a serte cuarenta y nueve años.

9 T hen shalt thou cause the shofar to sound an alarm on the tenth day of the seventh month; in the day of the reconciliations shall ye cause the shofar to sound throughout all your land.

Entonces harás sonar el shofar en el mes séptimo a los diez del mes; el día de las reconciliaciones haréis sonar alarma de shofar por toda vuestra tierra.

10 A nd ye shall sanctify the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof; it shall be a jubilee unto you; and ye shall return every one unto his possession, and ye shall return each one unto his family.

Y santificaréis el año cincuenta, y pregonaréis libertad en la tierra a todos sus moradores; éste os será jubileo; y volveréis cada uno a su posesión, y cada cual volverá a su familia.

11 A jubilee shall that fiftieth year be unto you; ye shall not sow nor reap that which grows of itself in it nor fence in thy consecrated vine.

El año cincuenta os será jubileo; no sembraréis, ni segaréis lo que naciere de suyo en la tierra, ni vendimiaréis sus ofrendas;

12 F or it is the jubilee; it shall be holy unto you; ye shall eat the fruit of the land.

porque es jubileo; santo será a vosotros; el fruto de la tierra comeréis.

13 I n this year of jubilee ye shall return each one unto his possession.

En este año de jubileo volveréis cada uno a su posesión.

14 A nd if thou sell anything unto thy neighbour or buy anything of thy neighbour’s hand, ye shall not oppress one another.

Y cuando vendiereis algo a vuestro prójimo, o comprareis de mano de vuestro prójimo, no engañe ninguno a su hermano.

15 A ccording to the number of years after the jubilee thou shalt buy of thy neighbour, and according unto the number of years of the fruits he shall sell unto thee.

Conforme al número de los años después del jubileo comprarás de tu prójimo; conforme al número de los años de los frutos te venderá él a ti.

16 A ccording to the multitude of years thou shalt increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years thou shalt diminish the price of it; for according to the number of the years of the fruits does he sell unto thee.

Conforme a la multitud de los años aumentarás el precio, y conforme a la disminución de los años disminuirás el precio; porque según el número de los años de los frutos te ha de vender él.

17 Y e shall not therefore oppress one another; but thou shalt fear thy God; for I am the LORD your God.

Y no engañe ninguno a su prójimo; mas tendrás temor de tu Dios; porque yo soy el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.

18 E xecute, therefore, my statutes and keep my rights and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety;

Ejecutad, pues, mis estatutos, y guardad mis derechos, y ponedlos por obra, y habitaréis en la tierra seguros;

19 a nd the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill and dwell therein in safety.

y la tierra dará su fruto, y comeréis hasta saciaros, y habitaréis en ella seguros.

20 A nd if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? behold, we shall not sow nor gather in our fruits,

Y si dijereis: ¿Qué comeremos el séptimo año? He aquí no hemos de sembrar, ni hemos de recoger nuestros frutos,

21 t hen I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

entonces yo os enviaré mi bendición el sexto año, y hará que haya fruto por tres años.

22 A nd ye shall sow the eighth year and eat yet of old fruit; until the ninth year, until her fruits come in ye shall eat of the old store.

Y sembraréis el año octavo, y comeréis del fruto añejo; hasta el año noveno, hasta que venga su fruto comeréis del añejo.

23 ¶ The land shall not be sold for ever, for the land is mine; for ye are strangers and sojourners with me.

¶ Y la tierra no se venderá a perpetuidad, porque la tierra mía es; que vosotros peregrinos y extranjeros sois para conmigo.

24 T herefore, in all the land of your possession, ye shall grant a redemption for the land.

Por tanto, en toda la tierra de vuestra posesión, otorgaréis redención a la tierra.

25 I f thy brother becomes poor and has sold away some of his possession, his redeemer shall come, his closest kinsman, and shall redeem that which his brother sold.

Cuando tu hermano empobreciere, y vendiere algo de su posesión, vendrá su redentor, su pariente mas cercano, para redimir lo que su hermano hubiere vendido.

26 A nd when the man has no redeemer and is able to stretch forth his hand and find enough for his redemption,

Y cuando el hombre no tuviere redentor, si alcanzare su mano, y hallare lo que basta para su rescate;

27 t hen he shall count the years from the sale thereof and pay that which remains unto the man to whom he sold it; that he may return unto his possession.

entonces contará los años de su venta, y pagará lo que quedare al varón a quien vendió, y volverá a su posesión.

28 B ut if he is not able to stretch forth his hand and find enough to return unto it, then that which is sold shall remain in the hand of the one that has bought it until the year of jubilee; and in the jubilee the land shall go out free, and he shall return unto his possession.

Mas si no alcanzare su mano lo que basta para que vuelva a él, lo que vendió estará en poder del que lo compró hasta el año del jubileo; y al jubileo saldrá la tierra libre, y él volverá a su posesión.

29 A nd if a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then he may redeem it within a whole year after it is sold; within a full year may he redeem it.

Y el varón que vendiere casa de morada en ciudad cercada, tendrá facultad de redimirla hasta acabarse el año de su venta; un año será el término de poderse redimir.

30 A nd if it is not redeemed within the space of a full year, then the house that is in the walled city shall be established for ever to the one that bought it for his descendants; it shall not go out in the jubilee.

Y si no fuere rescatada dentro de un año entero, la casa que estuviere en la ciudad amurallada quedará para siempre para aquel que la compró, y para sus descendientes; no saldrá en el jubileo.

31 B ut the houses of the villages which have no wall round about them shall be counted as the fields of the country; they may be redeemed, and they shall go out in the jubilee.

Mas las casas de las aldeas que no tienen muro alrededor, serán estimadas como un campo de tierra; tendrán redención, y saldrán en el jubileo.

32 N otwithstanding the cities of the Levites and the houses of the cities of their possession, the Levites may redeem at any time.

Pero en cuanto a las ciudades de los levitas, y de las casas de las ciudades, que poseyeren, los levitas tendrán redención siempre.

33 A nd if a man makes a purchase from the Levites, then the house that was sold and the city of his possession, shall go out in the year of jubilee; for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their possession among the sons of Israel.

Y el que comprare de los levitas, la venta de la casa, y de la ciudad de su posesión saldrá en el jubileo; por cuanto las casas de las ciudades de los levitas es la posesión de ellos entre los hijos de Israel.

34 B ut the field of the suburbs of their cities may not be sold, for it is their perpetual possession.

Mas la tierra de los ejidos de sus ciudades no se venderá, porque es perpetua posesión de ellos.

35 A nd if thy brother becomes poor and comes unto thee, then thou shalt receive him; as a stranger, or a sojourner, he shall live with thee.

Y cuando tu hermano empobreciere, y se acogiere a ti, tú lo recibirás; como peregrino y extranjero vivirá contigo.

36 T ake thou no usury of him, or increase; but thou shalt have the fear of thy God, and thy brother shall live with thee.

No tomarás usura de él, ni aumento; mas tendrás temor de tu Dios, y tu hermano vivirá contigo.

37 T hou shalt not give him thy money upon usury, nor lend him thy food for increase.

No le darás tu dinero a usura, ni tus víveres a ganancia.

38 I AM your God, who brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, to give you the land of Canaan and to be your God.

YO SOY vuestro Dios, que os saqué de la tierra de Egipto, para daros la tierra de Canaán, para ser vuestro Dios.

39 ¶ And when thy brother becomes poor, being with thee, and if he should sell himself unto thee, thou shalt not compel him to serve as a slave.

¶ Y cuando tu hermano empobreciere, estando contigo, y se vendiere a ti, no le harás servir como esclavo.

40 A s a hired servant and as a sojourner, he shall be with thee and shall serve thee unto the year of jubilee.

Como criado, como extranjero estará contigo; hasta el año del jubileo te servirá.

41 T hen he shall depart free from thy house, both he and his children with him, and shall return unto his own family, and unto the possession of his fathers shall he be restored.

Entonces saldrá libre de tu casa, él y sus hijos consigo, y volverá a su familia, y a la posesión de sus padres se restituirá.

42 F or they belong to me, I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt; they shall not be sold as slaves.

Porque me pertenecen, yo los saqué de la tierra de Egipto; y no serán vendidos a manera de esclavos.

43 T hou shalt not rule over him with rigor, but shalt fear thy God.

No te enseñorearás de él con dureza, mas tendrás temor de tu Dios.

44 B oth thy menslaves and thy maidslaves, which thou shalt have, shall be of the Gentiles that are round about you; of them shall ye buy slaves.

Así tu esclavo como tu esclava que tuvieres, serán de los gentiles que están en vuestro alrededor; de ellos compraréis esclavos y esclavas.

45 Y e may also buy of the children of the strangers that live among you and of those of their lineage that are born in your land, who are with you, and they shall be your possession.

También compraréis de los hijos de los forasteros que viven entre vosotros, y de los que del linaje de ellos son nacidos en vuestra tierra, que están con vosotros; los cuales tendréis por posesión.

46 A nd ye shall possess them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit as a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever; but over your brethren, the sons of Israel, ye shall not rule over one another with rigor.

Y los poseeréis por juro de heredad para vuestros hijos después de vosotros, como posesión hereditaria; para siempre os serviréis de ellos; pero en vuestros hermanos los hijos de Israel, no os enseñorearéis cada uno sobre su hermano con dureza.

47 A nd if a sojourner or stranger who is with thee becomes rich and thy brother who is with him becomes poor and sells himself unto the stranger or sojourner who is with thee or to the race of the lineage of the stranger,

Y si el peregrino o extranjero que está contigo, adquiriera medios, y tu hermano que está con él empobreciere, y se vendiere al peregrino o extranjero que está contigo, o a la raza del linaje del extranjero;

48 a fter he is sold he shall have redemption; one of his brethren shall redeem him;

después que se hubiere vendido, tendrá redención; uno de sus hermanos lo rescatará;

49 e ither his uncle or his uncle’s son shall redeem him; or any that is near of kin unto him of his lineage shall redeem him; or if he is able, he may redeem himself.

o su tío, o el hijo de su tío lo redimirá, o el cercano de su carne, de su linaje, lo redimirá; o si sus medios alcanzaren, él mismo se redimirá.

50 A nd he shall reckon with him that bought him from the year that he was sold to him unto the year of jubilee; and the price of his sale shall be according to the number of years, according to the time of a hired servant shall it be with him.

Y contará con el que lo compró, desde el año que se vendió a él hasta el año del jubileo; y ha de apreciarse el dinero de su venta conforme al número de los años, y se hará con él conforme al tiempo de un criado asalariado.

51 I f there are yet many years, according unto them he shall give again the price of his redemption out of the money that he was bought for.

Si aún fueren muchos años, conforme a ellos volverá para su rescate del dinero por el cual se vendió.

52 A nd if there remain but few years unto the year of jubilee, then he shall count with him, and according unto his years shall he give him again the price of his redemption.

Y si quedare poco tiempo hasta el año del jubileo, entonces contará con él, y devolverá su rescate conforme a sus años.

53 A nd as a yearly hired servant shall he be with him; and the other shall not rule with rigor over him in thy sight.

Como con el tomado a salario anualmente hará con él; no se enseñoreará en él con aspereza delante de tus ojos.

54 A nd if he is not redeemed in these years, then he shall go out in the year of jubilee, both he and his children with him.

Mas si no se redimiere en esos años, en el año del jubileo saldrá, él, y sus hijos con él.

55 F or the sons of Israel are mine; they are my slaves whom I brought forth out of the land of Egypt. I AM your God.

Porque míos son los hijos de Israel; son esclavos míos, a los cuales saqué de la tierra de Egipto. YO SOY el SEÑOR vuestro Dios.
